GCW’s 24-hour telethon style wrestling marathon show continues! We’re hitting the Feel free to ride along with the wrestling reports here and my rising levels of delirium and non-awakeness on Twitter (@juliusblaise). 

Match 1: Angel Escalera vs August Matthew vs Koda Hernandez

August uses Koda are a weapon to wipe out Angel and get a near fall immediately. Angel back with arm drags and leg lariats. Koda drags Angel out and slams him to the pole. Big dropkick from Koda to August’s face. August blasts Angel with a facebuster after a shot from a suspicious foreign object. August makes the break. Koda with a ddt/1812 combo and a near fall on Angel. Angel with the moonsault and August back to break it up. August sweeps Koda off the mat to DDT Angel. August with a double stomp to the back of the head and a corkscrew senton for the pin!

Winner: August Matthew

Lot of fun here! Some cool big spots, it really looked like Koda was taking both these guys to the prison yard but Matthew bided his time and got a cool finish. 

Match 2: Darius Latrell vs Storm Grayson

Storm looks great but Latrell is towering over him, boxing him out into the corner. Grayson on the top and Latrell pie faces him off, crashing into the apron. Ow. Latrell with a foot choke in the corner. Grayson chopping his way out of danger but gets caught in a crossbody attempt. Latrell with a basketball style elbow drop. Storm counters a snakes eyes, hits a superkick and DVD. Grayson lighting up the chops and a loud enziguri. Running knee to the face and Latrell barely kicks out. Grayson with a moonsault for two. Popup uranage from Latrell. kick out! Ripcord End of Days and Grayson barely kicks out. Grayson gut kicks on a second attempt and hits a running knee to the back of the head to get the pin!

Winner: Storm Grayson

Good David/Goliath match. Latrell played the big man role well. I think Grayson might have had his bell rung towards the end there so hope he’s okay. 

Main Event: Davey Bang vs Jacob Dean vs Trevor Outlaw

Davey Bang crushes his Bang energy drink and cuts off Outlaw, who tried to hide from the matchup. Bang focuses on Dean, which allows Outlaw to ambush him from behind. Bang getting ganged up on. Bang hits a moonsault to both and the alliance seems over. Bang fires up. Outlaw gets a slam in for a near fall but Dean starts going ham on them both. Outlaw brings in a confetti gun but Bang steals it and shoots him. Dean dumped to the outside as Bang hits a frog splash on Outlaw for the win. 

Winner: Davey Bang

Good work here! Dean may have gotten glass into his hands by getting dumped to the outside so hoping he’s okay there. Send in the brooms.
