GCW’s 24-hour telethon style wrestling marathon show continues! I AM AWAKE (I think)! Feel free to ride along with the wrestling reports here and my rising levels of delirium and non-awakeness on Twitter (@juliusblaise). 

Match 1: Facade vs Dani Mio 

THE NEON BLONDES EXPLODE! Dani Mio is typically Facade’s manager or tag partner. Fast paced high flying action traded back and forth. Dani lands some hellacious chops to the chest and back. Facade hesitates briefly but fires back hard. Facade wants a head scissor but Dani gut kicks him. Facade get a kitchen drawer of plunder. Dani gets spanked with a wooden spoon. Facade tries to stab her head with a fork. Dani breaks plates over his head. This got weird for a second. Facade walks the rope and hits a huge dropkick for a near fall. Dani with a standing guillotine and lands back into a DDT. Trading chops and kicks, Dani is chopping him down. Facade slips in a spinning back kick tot head and Dani escapes defeat by getting the rope at 2.5. Facade going for a neon terminator, Dani sabu’s a chair into his face. Springboard destroyer! Facade out at two! Dani with a crossbody. Facade catches Dani and hits a cradle piledriver for the pin. 

Winner: Facade

These two left it all in the ring for us. It got weird with the plunder drawer but these two know each other well. Some nasssssty shots towards the end. 

Match 2: “2 Hot” Steve Scott vs “Kung Fu” Donnie Janela

Scott wants to take a selfie but Janela kicks the phone out of his hand and stomps it. Scott has a second, Janela elbow drops it. Scott has 2 more in his trunk. Janela kicks out those too. Janela gets trapped in a octopus stretch while Scott wants to take selfies. The Mortal Kombat theme hit and Janela fires up into a flurry of strikes and almost KO’s Scott. Trading strike and super kicks in the center. Trading chops on the apron. Scott with a clothesline down to the HARDEST PART OF THE RING. Flying double knees to the apron. Janela back with a rolling kick for two. Scott gets caught in a head scissor but he uses the ref for leverage to turn it into a spike piledriver. Janel with a rana off the top and a locks in a sharpshooter after a struggle. Scott gets the rope. Janela tries to powerbomb Scott off the apron against but gets blasted with a yoshitonic and a superkick finishes the job. 

Winner: Steve Scott

This was a VERY entertaining mess of a match. It’s so late....or early...what is time? It was the right level of weird for how delirious we all feel right now. 

Main Event: Jeffery Johns, Alpha Zo & Solomon Tupu vs Diego Hill, Conan Lycan & Frankie Picard

Commentary is just as confused about this match as we all are. XD These teams are going fast paced for this. Hill with a cool spin kick off the top before he eats a lot of heat from the opposing team. Alpha Zo with a huge push kick and spinning back drop. Hill with a leaping cutter to make some space. Lycan in to crush. He misses a 450 but rolls through and hits a huge spear. Tupu in with a Samoan drop. Hill with the blind tag and takes it to Tupu. Lycan with an End of Days as Picard gets the blind tag in to hit a One Winged Angel-style bomb on Johns for the pin. 

Winners: Hill, Lycan & Picard

This was a surprise match with not a lot of guys people were immediately familiar with. They took their time to get their sh*t in and it was some good sh*t! That finish from Picard, though. Yowza!
