GCW’s 24-hour telethon style wrestling marathon show breaks into the early morning hours with some content from the death match promotion No Peace Underground! Feel free to ride along with the wrestling reports here and my rising levels of delirium and non-awakeness on Twitter (@juliusblaise). 

Match 1: The End (Parrow & Odinson) vs IronBeast (KTB & Shane Mercer)

This is going to be A HAPPENING. No time wasted as we go right into a slugfest at ringside. This is chaos as everyone gets throw into the garage doors and posts. Breaking out the light tubes. The End killing Mercer in the ring. Huge uranage from Odinson. Parrow DVD’d onto lighttubes through Mercer. KTB breaks up the pin. KTB and Odinson chugging it out while a LOT of glass gets broken at ringside. Iron Beast goes to work on Odinson while Parrow recovers from ALL THAT GLASS. KTB tries a dive but The End catches him out of the air and powerbombs him onto Mercer. Parrow’s back is a MESS. We’ve managed to re-establish the rules of a normal tag match somehow, as The End tags in and out to work over KTB. Odinson with a cool drill-style headbutt. Parrow clubs KTB to death with a lariat and chokes him down. Mercer breaks up a sit out powerbomb pin. KTB manages to wipe Parrow out on a ladder and gets the tag to Mercer. All four wiped out. The End start piling chairs. KTB suplexes Parrow to the chairs. Mercer with a moonsault powerslam to the chairs. KTB with a moonsault to Odinson. Parrow breaks it up. IronBeast setting up a door but lose sight of things. Odinson with a pounce to Mercer through the door. The End hits a doomsday European uppercut to KTB for the pin!

Winners: The End

Well, that ruled. Wild hard hitting contest with plenty of plunder. I am AWAKE right now, y’all. Parrow’s back is so bloody right now. Love both these teams. This was great. 

Match 2: Orin Veidt vs Matthew Justice

Janela and SHLAK on commentary audibly wondering HOW Orin Veidt can do this match after the war he just had with SHLAK earlier. Justice is also on his second war of the night but he had a significantly less bloody affair. Justice wants to fight on the stage. Veidt wants to fight on the bar. Justice gives in and they square off on the bar top. Justice throws him off like a garbage bag. Justice throws him into both bathrooms. Justice drags a dazed Orin around for a ton of photo ops. Up the steps they go into the backstage. Chairs set up and we’re going into bar fight mode. They battles across and back down the stairs. Orin tosses Justice from the stairs back to the ring and follows with a crossbody. Yow! Orin throws a chair but Justice catches and returns. Orin raining more plunder into the ring. Justice blasts with a trash can. Orin laid out on a ladder on the stage. Orin throws the trash can, Justice bats it out of the air with a chair. Justice from the ring through Veidt on the ladder on the stage. Wow! Count him out ref! 

Winner: Matthew Justice

Justice is fearless, man. God. *shakes head* Veidt is a warrior for doing ANYTHING after that war he had with SHLAK earlier, never mind this battle. Wild fight and those last few spots were fantastic. Holy hell, it’s 4am. Lol.

Main Event: Bam Sullivan vs Atticus Cogar

Oh, Atticus Cogar is here? *clears throat* F*** OHIO! More of that later in the day. XD Anyways, Cogar is taking on H2O’s Danny Havoc Hardcore Champion, Bam Sullivan. Cogar removes the chairs from the ring. Does he want a proper match or is he scared? We have some good technical wrestling to kick this off, Sullivan staying ahead and hitting a big crossbody to send Cogar packing. Cogar whips a chair right into Sullivan’s face so I guess we’re off to the races. Sullivan is staggered as Cogar lands shots with the steel. Cogar taunting, hitting a suplex and moonsault for a near fall. Sullivan catches Cogar with an electric chair drop. Back and forth reversals, Sullivan with a big spinebuster, suicide dive and top rope dropkick for two. Cogar with a pile of neon green skewers, drives them into Sullivan’s skull and kicks MOST of them out. Cogar sets up a door, ladder and light tube pile at ringside. Takes too long. Sullivan back up with a gusset plate to the head and arm. Owwwwww. Big spear and Cogar kicks out! Sullivan gets him up to go through that hell pile at ringside. Cogar slips it and gets the roll up pin! WHAT A TEAAASE!

Winner: Atticus Cogar

Even SHLAK was mad at Cogar for winning like that. Good match that was building to that big spot and Cogar took it all away (probably for the best, tbh). Perfect heel move. 

And that’s it for “No Peace Underground Presents: Odium”! Some good carnage in this block! Ryan Fox did pre-recorded intros to all these matches. Plus, the ominous mystery announcer cut in from time to time to lay some TRUTHS on us. This was a great differentiator for No Peace vs the other shows in this marathon, as that kept true to NPU’s normal presentation style.
