Becky Lynch defending her Raw Women's Title against Canada's own Natalya Neidhart it opening the show.
Becky was out first to a good pop. Fans are chanting Becky after her music stopped. Here comes Natty. Huge pop as well. Good for her. She is a warrior and deserves it. She has the Canadian flag over her shoulder just in case you don't know she is from there.
Someone has to tap to lose. After the intros, chants for Becky. I don't see Natty winning, and she shouldn't, but give her a great match.
They are going at it hard early. Becky got a submission early but Natty powered out, so she locked on another one. But Natty took her to the floor and roasted her in the barricade. No DQs here so Natty is going to beat her up, but good. She went to work on Becky's left knee to weaken her for the Sharpshooter. Smart way to go.
Natty is doing a great job of setting Becky up to tap and then locked a sharpshooter on the second rope. Cool stuff. Becky got herself out of it but is hurt. Yet she came back by throwing Natty into the table and ring steps. The crowd are split on who they want to win. Beck goes to the top but Natty met her and hit a SuperPlex. And I just crapped out. WWE not a good time for Network problems. I haven't had to talk about this in many years. Fix this asap.
They are back in the ring. Becky locked on the Sharpshooter. Lots of Hosers are not happy about this. Natty is trying to get to the ropes and it was done to throw Becky in with her legs to break it. The fans love this and they are right. Great stuff!
Now Becky locked on the Disarmer. Like Natty, she knew how to get out. So Natty did it again. Becky went for the Shooter but Natty reversed it and locked it on herself. Becky is in trouble. Natty has it in deep. Becky got to the rope and went under it. That won't end it. Natty dragged her back in but Becky reversed and got the Disarmer. Right in the middle. She is scream to Natty to tap. She finally did.
Excellent match to start the show. This was exactly what it should be. Natty was right there but Becky retained. Great match!
Trish did a promo about doing her farewell match in front of her hometown of Toronto. There's no pressure. She's a hall of famer. The hard part is waiting. She's ready for Charlotte. Strong promo by Trish.
Goldberg takes on Dolph Ziggler next. It's much better to put him on at 7:30 inside than midnight outside in the desert. This probably won't be a fun night for Dolph.
Dolph is out first. He is not loved. Then he did a promo about how great he was (I am guess just in case Canada didn't boo him). Well, they like him less now. Goldberg is out next. Huge Goldberg chant. So whenever smart fans get mad at why they bring back legends (and I know, they should do a better job to create new legends) this is why they do it.
Dude just came out of the dressing room. He looks great. My old ass hates him. Nah, just kidding. He's in great shape.
These fans are ready for him. Big pop. Big chants for Goldberg. I feel good for the man. He is getting adulation and his son gets to see it. That is cool stuff.
They faced off and Dolph hit a superkick out of nowhere for a two. Then another for second near fall. But then, he ate a Spear and got wasted. Guess what's next? The fans are chanting his name. John Hammer has a nickname and it's Jack. Boom, 1-2-3. Exactly what I expected it to be, and what it should be. Like Undertaker last month, Goldberg gets to wipe the taste of Saudi Arabia out of his mouth. Good for him.
Oh wait, after the match, Ziggler hadn't had enough. He said it was like getting hit by a baby. You don't have the guts to fight me man to man. Yes he does. Back Goldberg comes. Even Corey said Dolph is nuts.
Another Spear. Down goes Dolph. I liked it. I don't usually want the young guy to get killed by the old guy, but this was OK.
Dolph has the mic again. What is wrong with him. Anyone can get lucky twice. I knew you didn't have the sack to face me man to man. You are a laughing stock and I am the best. I will never be beaten or stay down. Well, one more time. Here comes Bill again. Hopefully he has duct tape to shut Dolph's mouth. Dolph can't get up. Bill helped him up. Pretended to leave and then speared him. Poor Dolph.
The New Day did a bit where they were presenting Kofi with Drake (the rapper). They got Drake (the dude he can't have sex with his wife). Funny stuff. Kofi will go and get Orton tonight.
AJ Styles defending the US Title vs. Ricochet is next.
Before the matches they threw it to the announce teams. One of them is Carmella and Truth. Drake got wind of it and is looking for them.
AJ has the OC with him. Ric has what looks like a superhero costume on. Ric started hot using the OC as steps to launch himself on AJ and hit a rana.
Really good back and forth stuff. OC started getting involved and Ric fought them off but then Ric came off the top and AJ caught him in the Styles Clash. Ric did all he could but the numbers caught up. Ric looked great but he couldn't beat three. I don't think it's over.
Yeah they beat him down afterward, it ain't over.
