Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

Bray attacked Balor before the bell and beat him, slamming him on one of the ringside announcing tables.  A number of officials tended to Balor, who was holding his ribs in pain.  They began walking around the ring with the idea that the match wasn't going to take place.  As they made it to the aisle, Bray took the mic and asked the fans to see what he just did to their mighty little hero.  He told Balor to run away like a coward.   He said that the man Balor was set to face wasn't a man at all, but a God.  He told Balor to look at him and told him he's not a man, not a demon, he's a coward.

Balor painfully took off his jacket and returned to the ring.   He rained with punches but Wyatt cut him off and went for Sister Abigail.  Wyatt was kicked off to the outside.  Balor hit a sliding kick to the outside, then hit a dropkick into the barricade.  Balor went to the top but had his feet taken out.  Bray nailed a suplerplex off the top into the ring below but only scored a two count.

They battled to the floor, where Bray targeted Finn's shoulder and sent him off the apron to the floor.  Back in the ring, Wyatt locked on a cravate, trying to wear Balor down more.   Finn tried to mount a comeback with some dropkicks but came up holding his ribs.   Balor was kicked (well that was the idea anyway) and was tossed to the floor.  Bray went to follow but Balor pulled the ring apron  and trapped Wyatt behind it before unloading with strikes and nailed a running kick off the apron.

Balor went to the top for the coup de grace but Bray did the Crabwalk, which somewhat stunned Balor.  Balor put together some good offense, including a back senton and the uranage.  Balor kept kicking out.   They battled to the top, where Balor nailed Bray off.  Balor nailed a coup de grace to the back of the neck but Wyatt still kicked out.

Bray drilled Balor with a big lariat as he came off the ropes rebounding but only scored a two count.  The crowd chanted to rally Balor.  He picked up Balor for a suplex but turned it into a slam across the ring.    Balor finally scored the pin with the coup de grace.

Your winner, Finn Balor!

Really good match.  Wyatt looked really good here.  I wish WWE would utilize him in a stronger way but that record has been played before.  Balor did a good job as the babyface from fighting underneath to show his mental and physical toughness.

They pushed Asuka's debut on 10/22 at TLC.

Charly Caruso interviewed Sheamus & Cesaro.    They promised to take the Raw Tag Team championships back tonight.

WWE Raw Tag Team champions Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus & Cesaro.

Cesaro and Sheamus take the early advantage after Cesaro slams Ambrose into the steel stairs outside by swinging him into them and began mauling him.  They teased the idea he may have a separated shoulder but Ambrose said he was good to go and they allowed the match to continue.  Cesaro drilled him with a big boot to the face.  He worked over Ambrose for a long time, scoring a series of near falls.

Cesaro tried to go for the Gotch Neutralizer but Ambrose slipped out and sent him hard into the corner.  Cesaro came out of that with a bleeding nose.  Rollins made the tag and came off with a Blockbuster for a two count.  He nailed a pescado to the outside and tossed him back in, then nailed a Slingblade.     The referee checked on Cesaro, which allowed Sheamus to Rollins.    Really physical bout.

Sheamus tagged in and nailed a series of backbreakers.   They had Cesaro checked out by medical officials before he returned to the ring.  Cesaro tagged in and drilled Ambrose with a boot that knocked him off the apron.   Sheamus and Cesaro began double teaming Rollins, who kicked up.  Ambrose finally made the hot tag and cleaned house on Sheamus.  He nailed a series of forearms and kicked away at him.  Dean hit a dive to the outside and was seen drilling his own shoulder into the barricade after.   He went to the top and nailed an elbow off the top for a two count.

Cesaro broke up the attempted pinfall and drilled Rollins off the apron.  The challengers went for a double powerbomb.  Rollins made the save.  Sheamus nailed him with the Brogue Kick.  Cesaro locked Dean into the Sharpshooter.  He fought to the ropes but caught in a crossface.  He gutted it out and still made it to the ropes.  Sheamus attacked and went for the pin but Rollins broke it up at the last second.

They keep going back and forth with some awesome, physical action.  Ambrose somehow kicked up out of White Noise, followed by Cesaro powerbombing Rollins off the ropes onto his own partner.  That made the crowd explode.  Sheamus went for a Brogue Kick but Ambrose just collapsed.  He went to pin Dean, who was lying in wait and scored a two count.

Sheamus accidentally kicked his own partner, setting up Seth drilling him and sending him into Dean, who caught him with Dirty Deeds for the pin.

Your winners and still WWE Raw Tag Team champions, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins!

Excellent match.  They really took it to each other and I respect the hell out of that.  Just an off the charts bout with great, physical action that told a story and kept the crowd going. Loved it.

This has been a really entertaining show so far.  It feels like WWE took the restrictions off and are fighting for their survival or something.

WWE Raw Women's champion Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma vs. Bayley.

Everyone battled.  Nia wiped out Alexa.  They others knocked Nia to the floor.  Emma, Bayley and Sasha faced off.  Emma was run out of the ring, leaving Banks and Bayley to face off.  Banks caught Sasha with a kick as she charged but was pulled out of the ring by Nia and sent into the barricade.  Nia was met by Emma but quickly overwhelmed her and wiped her out.  Nia went for a pin but Alexa Bliss got involved.

Alexa tried to go for a guilllotine choke but was thrown off and then tossed across the ring.  Bliss came back with a kick to the legs and slapped her.  That only infuriated Jax, who grabbed her for a Samoan Drop.  Banks went to the top but Jax drilled Bliss into her, knocking Banks down.  She nailed them both with a Samoan Drop at the same time but Bayley broke up the pinfall.

It ended up with Nia being tossed from the ring.  Emma and Alexa worked her over but then had their team break down when Emma prevented Alexa from scoring a pinfall.  Emma drilled Alexa in the face for a two count.    The battle continued with lots of near falls and nice action.  Emma went for a wheel barrow move but Banks turned it into a bulldog and scored a kick to the face.  Alexa returned to the ring and drilled her with a big right hand but was caught with a Bank Statement.  Bayley broke it up and nailed the Bayley to Belly suplex but Banks broke it up.

The battle continued until Bliss caught Bayley with a DDT and scored the pin.

Your winner and still WWE Raw Women's champion, Alexa Bliss!

Bliss was interviewed after by Renee Young.  She said there's a lot of stars in Hollywood and champions in WWE but only one true Goddess, Alexa Bliss.

This match may not be everyone's cup of tea as it was all action and pinfalls being broke up, as opposed to telling a long form story.  I was very entertained by the effort.
