WWE Tag Team champions The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz

New Day did some pretty great mic work pushing people to sign their petition to save the tables.  Devon and Kofi started out with Kingston nailing a nice dropkick early.  They locked up and Kingston disrespected Devon by slapping him in the back of the head.  That fired the veteran up, and he nailed a big clothesline.  The New Day regrouped on the floor after Bubba Ray tagged in.

Big E tagged in and called Ray an old man and told him to go home.  He shoved Ray.  They locked up and Ray nailed a big back suplex.  The Dudleys nailed a big double elbow.  E caught Ray with an elbow as he came out of the corner and went to the top but was chopped hard in the chest.  Ray went for a superplex and nailed it for a two count.  Those are some big guys to be doing that spot.

Kingston and Xavier each tried to interfere and got tossed.  Kingston attacked Ray from behind as he had his focus on Woods.   The New Day all worked over Ray in the corner.    Ray was worked over for a long time but kept kicking out.  Xavier began playing the "Rocky" theme on the trombone as Kingston used boxing combinations.  That was tremendous.  Ray drilled him with a big right hand but Kingston drilled him with kicks and punches.

Kingston came off the top for a move but was caught and hit with a sit-down Bubba Bomb.  This led to Devon getting the hot tag and he cleaned house with clotheslines and a shoulderblock on Kingston.  Devon nailed a flapjack and a Thesz Press, followed by a headbutt.  Devon nailed a running clothesline in the corner.  E tried to get involved but was caught with the suplex/neckbreaker combination.

The Dudleys nailed 3D on Kingston but Xavier Woods attacked them and broke up the pin.  DQ City.

Your winners, by DQ, The Dudley Boyz!

Big E laid out Ray and Devon.  They celebrated as if they had won, right down to the trombone. They kept kicking down The Dudleys.  They called for Woods to get a table so they could put The Dudley Boyz through it.  Dudleys fought off Big E and Kofi, leaving Xavier in the ring alone without realizing he was in danger.  They nailed 3D on Woods through the table.

Good match.  I'm not a fan of DQ finishes in general but in this case, it was the right call as it extends the hunt for The Dudleys and that's where the interest really is.  Plus, New Day are really hot right now and shouldn't be dropping those belts anytime soon.

They aired a promo for the WWE Network Breaking Ground special on NXT.  No announcement of an air date yet.

WWE Divas champion Nikki Bella (with Team Bella) vs. Charlotte (with PCB)- Title will Change if Nikki is counted out or disqualified.

Charlotte started out strong and aggressive but was shoulder blocked off the apron and acted as if she might have tweaked her knee.  She returned to the ring and took down Bella.    She tried to grab her but was kicked in the legs, then suplexed with her "bad knee" hitting the ropes.  Bella then began working over her left leg and knee.

Bella dropped a kneedrop off the ropes across the back of Charlotte's knees.  She tied up her legs into something of a Cloverleaf, trying to force a submission.  Bella began driving her knees into the mat.  Charlotte tried to fire back with a forearm but Bella cut her off and scored several two count.

The crowd began chanting "Let's go Charlotte."   Bella relentlessly went after the leg.  Charlotte surprised her with a crucifix style pinfall attempt.  Bella locked on a one-legged crab.  Bella used it again and as Charlotte was about to pull out of it, drove her knee down.  Charlotte was doing an awesome job selling all this.  Bella came off the ropes and drilled her in the back of her leg.

Bella went to the floor.  She pulled Charlotte over to the ringpost and slammed her leg into it several times.  Really good bout so far.  Bella locked on the ringpost figure four leglock.    Bella returned to the ring and locked on the one-legged Boston Crab again.  On the floor, PCB attacked Team Bella when they tried to pull the ropes away from Charlotte.  Nikki told her partners to stop it because she'd lose the belt if she got DQ'd.  Bella climbed Charlotte's back for a sleeper.   Charlotte dropped down to escape it.

Charlotte came to life with some chops and a big boot but Bella kicked up.  Charlotte, hopping on one leg, went for a backslide but Bella kicked her in the bad legs.  Bella covered her for a two count.    Bella continued working over Charlotte's knee and leg in the corner, then covered her for a two count.

Charlotte caught Nikki with a spear out of nowhere, then called for the Figure Eight.  She locked it in and Nikki, trapped, tapped out.

Your winner and new WWE Divas champion, Charlotte!

Very good match and in a lot of was, this was the best bout of Nikki's title run.  Charlotte did a hell of a job selling here and Bella was great as the dominant heel. It was the best Divas match on the main roster in a LONG time.

Ric Flair came out and hugged his daughter, putting the belt around her waist.   Flair was bawling as his daughter hugged the hell out of him.

Backstage, new WWE Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens was interviewed by Jojo. She asked him about the controversy surrounding the title win. He questioned what that could be. He said he's been a prize-fighter without a prize the last few months but he knew he would win tonight - not because a book told him but because he knew how great he was.

Ric Flair came out and hugged his daughter, putting the belt around her waist.   Flair was bawling as his daughter hugged the hell out of him.

They did a fun backstage promo where Ric Flair congratulated his daughter, told her how proud he was of her and that he loved her.  He said the champ was "his girl."

The Wyatt Family vs. Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns & Mystery Partner

Some idiotic fan not only hopped the rail but just got in the ring WITH The Shield before being dragged out.   WWE has got to get a hold on this ASAP.

The mystery man was Chris Jericho, who got a MASSIVE pop.  The announcers began pushing that Jericho and Wyatt had some big wars last year.

Luke Harper and Dean Ambrose kicked it off with Ambrose getting the better of the exchange.  Reigns tagged in and nailed a big clothesline.  He used an arm wringer and tagged in Jericho.  Crowd came alive for Jericho.  He came off the ropes and nailed several big moves, including a flying bodypress for a two count.  Harper tried to fight back with clotheslines but Jericho ducked and rolled him up for a two count.  The crowd chanted, "You still have it."

Reigns tagged back in.  He and Jericho worked over Harper.  Braun tagged in and faced off with Roman.  Nothing Roman did had any effect.  Dean tagged in and they went for a double running shoulderblock.  They bounced off as if they hit a wall.  Jericho came off the top but was caught and then pressed over the ropes and tossed on The Shield.  Braun went through the ropes and stalked Ambrose like a movie monster, then tossed him through the ropes.  They did a nice job of making him look like a beast with these spots.

The Wyatts took control on Ambrose at this point.   Roman tagged in and nailed a Samoan Drop on Harper.  Reigns nailed a series of clotheslines on Harper, sending him to the floor.  Reigns set up for a dive but Braun grabbed him by the hair as he rebounded, stopping him dead.  Harper drilled Reigns with a big kick and scored several two counts.  Wyatt tagged in and began laying waste to Reigns as the crowd chanted for Y2J.

Braun tagged in and slammed Roman with force.  Roman gets tossed to the floor.  Wyatt distracts the referee and instructs Braun to attack.  Ambrose runs over and tried to help by locking on a sleeper on the floor but is tossed off.  Reigns finally made the tag to Jericho, who cleaned house with all big moves, including a bulldog.  He went for the Walls of Jericho on Wyatt and turned him over but interference led to the move broken up.

Reigns finally stunned Braun with a series of Superman Punches.  Ambrose took him down then hit a dive to the outside on Harper.  Reigns speared Braun but Jericho tagged himself in.  He nailed the Lionsault but Braun kicked up.  Wyatt attacked Reigns from behind in the corner.  Jericho went for the Codebreaker but was caught by Braun and put in an over the shoulder backbreaker then slammed down.

Braun locked Jericho in his submission and Jericho faded.  The referee stopped the match.

Your winners, The Wyatt Family!

Good six man tag.  They did far more here to make the Wyatts seem dangerous and to make Braun then anything else in some time.  Jericho as the surprise guy was treated like a big deal live and that energy made the entire thing seem that much more fun.

The crowd chanted for Y2J after the bout. He walked out on Roman and Dean.

Backstage, Seth Rollins told the Authority he was ready.  He walked off.  Sheamus walked over to The Authority and said he was ready as well.
