Sami Zayn vs. Karrion Kross.
Kross is out first with his big entrance and Scarlett. Then it's time for the hero, Sami! Massive pop. Sami clearly loved the reaction, as he should.
Sami got in some early and then Kross took over for a while, setting Sami up for the comeback.
Sami got close a few times but Kross was able to keep control and get some near falls.
Sami got a two off of Blue Thunder Bomb but then Kross went back to work on him. Sami hit an exploder in the corner. He went for the Helluva but ran into The Kross Jacket. He took it to the mat and Sami's arm dropped twice, but not the third.
Sami managed to get to the rope to break the hold.
Kross went back to beating his ass and then started yelling at him to admit he is a liar. That fired Sami into a Helluva Kick for the win.
It was a good traditional face-heel match and the fans got the finish that they wanted.

Jacob Fatu defends the US Title against Solo Sikoa.
Solo attacked Jacob before the bell and started out the match by beating him down, but it didn't last long. Jacob came back and started beating down Solo.
Solo rolled to the floor and caught Jacob in the face when he went for a tope. The fans clearly do not like Solo.
Solo went back on the offense when he moved and Jacob went headfirst into the post. Then he locked on a headlock and stalked smack on Jacob. He tossed Jacob on his head and got up and bragged. Jacob popped right up and threw Solo and went to work on him.
Jacob went to the top when JC Mateo came out. It was a ruse because as he distracted the ref, Tonga Loa laid out Jacob. Solo went for the pin but Jacob kicked out.
Jacob dodged the Spike and then did a cannonball over the top to Loa and JC on the floor. Jacob hit a pop up Samoan on Solo. JC came in the ring and got waffled. Jacob hit the moonsault but was stopped by Hikuleo, who Cole wasn't sure what name he should use. He chokeslammed him onto the announce table and then threw Jacob in the ring. Solo nailed the spike to get the pin and take the US Title.
It was a solid match with a finish that will keep the feud going.
Jade Cargill vs. Asuka in the Queen Of The Ring Final, winner gets a Title shot at their brand's champion at SummerSlam.
Asuka came out first. Jade is dressed like a superhero and has blue contacts in her eyes.
Asuka is in control early, doing Asuka things.
Mike J told me Jade is dressed like Storm from X Men. You all know I would not know that.
Jade is coming back. For a minute or so. Asuka is every bit as awesome as she was before her injury. She's amazing.
Jade is getting in stuff here and there but Asuka keeps countering, as she does.
Jade his Jaded out of nowhere and rolled Asuka up for the win. Asuka dominated the match and lost to a flash pin, so it protects her. The fans wanted Asuka so they didn't love the finish. After the match she was given the crown and she said that she fought through the boos. She also was really sweaty. I wonder if the heat in the building affected her.
