Jack Perry (TNT Champion) vs. Darby Allin - Coffin Match
Darby has glued or somehow stuck thumbtacks all over his face. So, kind of a low budget Pinhead? Perry drags a body bag to the ring.
Darby attacks Perry with a chair and starts using his face as a weapon. He sets Perry in a chair on the floor and hits a drop kick from the top turnbuckle. Darby tries to dive into Perry to knock him into the coffin, and Perry dodges.
DON’T DO WHAT DARBY DO.
Perry rolls Darby into the ring and Perry has a black bag full of broken glass and dumps it on the mat. Because callbacks to nearly killing the company are cool. Darby recovers and gets a back body drop so that Perry hits the glass and Darby goes after him with his skateboard. This had brought the crowd back to life as they are all in for the violence.
Perry duct tapes Darby’s hands together. Darby is busted open as Darby is beaten from pillar to post around the ring. Darby escapes and gets a coffin drop from the top onto Perry on the floor. Perry is put into the coffin but Darby can’t close the lid as Perry is using his foot to hold it open. and the match continues.
They head up the ramp to a few CM Punk chants. Perry uses darby belt to restrain his feet and Perry tosses him off the stage through a table. Perry brings the body bag to where Darby is and puts him in it. Perry drags Darby to the coffin. Darby starts to fight his way out of the bag in the coffin, but Perry hits a running knee and closes the coffin.

The Bucks bring down a gas can and douse the coffin. Perry pulls out a lighter and…
…the lights go out.
And it’s the Man called Sting!
Sting comes to the ring with his bat. Perry hits him with the gas can and Sting does the “slowly I turn…” and Perry bails. Sting hits the Bucks with a Scorpion Death Drop and stands tall. Sting helps Darby out of the coffin.
Swerve Strickland (AEW World Champion) w/Prince Nana) vs. Bryan Danielson
This is our MAIN EVENT.
And it’s the Final Countdown as Bryan comes to the ring. No pyro needed. Just the song and the crowd.
Jim Ross joins commentary. COOL lighting effects for Swerve’s entrance. Swerve does the James Brown kneel as Prince Nana drapes a cape on him.
The shots from above just show how big this crowd and show is. It’s just amazing to me to see this again.
They start with chops and headlock takeovers. The announcers and camera people are making a point of Bryan’s family at ringside. As they move to the floor, Jim Ross tells them to be careful. Bryan gets a big springboard onto Swerve on the floor for a monster pop. Bryan starts working over Swerve’s arm.
Swerve is working over Bryan and has him in a Fireman’s carry on the apron. Swerve calls for Nana, who puts the ring bell on the mat and Swerve drops Bryan head first onto the bell. Bryan is busted open and Swerve asks why Bryan would do this to his family. Swerve drags Bryan out of the ring and stomps his head in front of Bryan’s family. Swerve goes to working over Bryan slowly and deliberately.
Bryan is able to get an attempt at a Labell lock, but Swerve fights it off. Bryan is able to get a big clothesline and then a series of attacks. Swerve is able to cut him off and hits a blockbuster for a two count. Bryan keeps working to get in his big moves, but Saswerve finds a way to cut him off. The crowd is on a roller coaster here,
Bryan goes after Swerge with a massive number of kicks and then hits a butterfly avalanche suplex from the top. Bryan then gets to kick Swerve’s head in as the crowd counts. Bryan locks in cattle mutilation, but Swerve powers out of it and turns it into a reverse butterfly slam.
The doctors hit the ring to check on Byran’s neck. Swerve chases the doctors off after we get the replay. Swerve hits the stomp for two. Swerve then hits a pair of house calls and Bryan struggles to get up. Swerve hits a third for a two count and a massive crowd pop. Swerve lays in Yes kicks and Bryan works to his feet. Bryan lays him out with slaps and kicks. Bryan goes for the triangle choke and Swerve picks him up. Bryan reverses it into a suplex.
Bryan gets the psycho knee and Swerve gets up and brushes it off. He hits another house call. Swerve then hits big pressure for two. Swerve does the Yes chant as Page shows up and starts attacking people at ringside. Security swarms him to carry him away from ringside and this allows Bryan to hit a psycho knee for two.
Bryan and Swerve trade blows and kicks in the middle of the ring and then move to head butts. Bryan gets another psycho knee and Swerve is down. We get a Yes chant and a psycho knee into the Labell lock. Swerve pulls the hand away, but Bryan snaps his fingers ansd locks it in again and Swerve has to tap out.
