Mustafa Ali gets his shot at the IC Title against Gunther next. Ali is out first. The champ second, with the usual big intro from Ludwig Kaiser. Lots of boos for Gunther. Come on Saudis, don’t boo greatness!
Ali came at Gunther strongly early but then the champ went into destruction mode. Those chops are brutal. Better Ali than me.
Ali kept trying to come back but man, he gets creamed every time he does. He’s bumping all over the place for the champ.
But then he came back! Powerbomb. 450! Gunther kicks out at 2. It’s worth it to take the chops (and Ali’s chest is red) to get to work with Gunther.
The champ is back on the attack and he’s not happy. But the challenger came back with a DDT, but Gunther avoided the 450 and hit a dropkick and then a powerbomb for the win.
It was a fun, solid match. Ali got in enough to get some elevation in a match no one expected him to win (and rightly so).
Cut to the back, KO and then Sami. Big pops. KO is fired up. He won’t allow any chance of losing today.
They showed LA Knight in the crowd.
They showed footage of doing Make A Wish’s for sick kids in Jeddah. Very cool.
Bianca Belair takes on Asuka next.
While Peacock Premium folks got a recap of the feud, I heard about how I should use Vagisil for an itchy vulva. That’s an interested ad choice for wrestling fans. Then again, the next ad was for Lexus, in Spanish. After a Hertz commercial, I learned Azo will test the PH of my vagina! Who books these commercials?
Cole is telling and showing us how great Jeddah is. Sorry, I will still be avoiding it.
Unlike in Puerto Rico, Bianca is a babyface in the Kingdom. The crowd is kind of quiet for this.
First big spot came when Asuka was on the floor and she used the braid to toss the champ into the steps. Asuka went to work.
Asuka is trying to get the crowd to react with the faces she is making but it seems like most of them aren’t interested in the match. The women are working hard so it’s not because of them.
Bianca got a two with a moonsault. Some fans are now chanting for Asuka.
Bianca really is amazingly strong and agile.
Asuka’s kicks look devastating. Now some fans are chanting this is awesome. Thanks for trying to fire up the rest of the crowd guys! They are working hard. They deserve a better reaction than what they are getting.
On a great Asuka missed with the mist. Bianca was not happy. Asuka locked on the arm bar but the champ got out.
Then holy crap, Asuka blew the mist onto her hand. When Bianca put her up in the KOD position, Asuka rubbed the mist into Bianca’s eyes. Belair let her down and Asuka kicked her in the head and took her Title. New champion, Asuka. I didn’t see that one coming. That was a surprise.

Rhea Ripley defends her Smackdown Title against Natalya (on her birthday) next. I don’t see a second upset in a row here. Brock isn’t getting out early here tonight. Dom is with Rhea.
