Rhea attacked at the bell while Dom was distracting her. She abused Natty on the floor and then took her back into the ring. She destroyed her and quickly pinned her with a Riptide. It was a total birthday squash. Damn.
Seth Rollins is happy to be the new champ.
Time for Cody to go through more HARD TIMES against The Beast.
Brock is out first. He waits in the ring for Cody, who gets a good reaction. The sling is gone but he has a cast. Cowboy Cody Orton? Nah, he’s just being tough. Then again, if he gets the chance to use it, why not? Brock is the reason he has it.
Brock went to work early, tossing Cody around.
Cody realized he has a Titanium cast on and he’s blasted Brock with it, knocking him out of the ring. Than a tope cast to the face. Cody Cutter for a two. Crossroads. And another. Cody is selling the arm in between. He went for a third but Brock locked on the Kimura on the bad arm. Cody won’t give. Cody kept the arm from dropping on three. He’s trying to fight back. He made the rope. The crowd popped big! Brock is shocked.
Brock went for the F5, but Cody hit Crossroads. Two count only!
Cody threw four shots with the cast but Brock powered up and hit the F5, TWO COUNT ONLY!
The fans are loving it. They said it would be a fight and that’s exactly what it seems like.
Brock is back to the Kimura. They did the Steve Austin-Bret Hart finished where Cody passed out, he didn’t tap out. Brock is angry after the match. He’s stalking Cody but instead just raised his hands. There are a lot of boos.
I really hope that this isn’t over. There’s no world where Brock needs to get his heat back after losing to Cody. There had better be a rubber match and Cody had better win it.
Time for the main event as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defend their Tag Titles against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
Omos is in the crowd. Interesting choices of talents to show in the audience tonight, people that don’t win much.
Roman and Solo, with Paul E., out first. Mixed reaction for sure.
The champs are out next, not a mixed reaction. Nice pop for KO. Then Sami came out in his robe. Big pop. What a moment for him!
After Paul Heyman introduced his guys, Sami grabbed the mic and introduced his team…in Arabic. That was cool.
KO started off against Roman. The fans changed OLE so Sami tagged in to a HUGE pop. The crowd is so into it that they have locked up minutes in. And finally Roman tagged in Solo.
The faces were in charge until Roman came in and attacked KO from behind. That allowed The Bloodline to gain the upper hand. The heels work so smartly. They don’t do 100 moves in five minutes so when they start doing them later they mean so much more.
Sami almost made it to KO for the hot tag but Solo stopped him. Then Solo kicked KO in the face to keep the tag from being made.
Sami hit a Tornado DDT on Solo and made the tag. Now it’s KO vs. Roman. KO was doing well until Solo took a shot from KO, allowing Roman to take control. KO came back with a pop up powerbomb for a two. He then hit a Frog Splash for another two. Solo got involved again, leading to a Superman Punch, two count only.
He went for another one but KO hit the Stunner. Reigns bounced up and nailed a vicious spear. The fans are loving this. They want Sami to make the tag. He got it. He went right after Solo. He wiped him out on the floor with a big dive. Fans are chanted Ole as Sami got two on Solo from a Blue Thunder Bomb.
Sami ran into a Superkick. Solo went for the Spike but Sami countered with an Exploder and a Helluva Kick. Roman had to make the save.
Roman then attacked Sami. The ref told him to stop since he isn’t legal. Roman tossed Sami into the ref but Sami stopped himself. Roman came in for a spear but wiped out the ref. Sami hit Roman with a Superman Punch but there is no ref to count. Roman countered with one on Sami. No ref. KO came out of nowhere and hit a Spear on Roman. KO is beating Roman around the ringside area. He cleared both announce tables. He went to attack Roman on the table when both Usos came out and made the save. They beat the snot out of KO and then went into the ring and wiped out Sami. Solo got up and Sami ducked. The Usos wiped out Solo with a double kick. Roman came to and saw it. He went in the ring and got in Jimmy’s face, he said they didn’t want their help. Then Jey tried to calm things and Roman pie-faced Jey. Out of nowhere Jimmy super kicked Roman. Jey was in WTF with Jimmy when Jimmy nailed Roman again with a kick. Jey was still in WTF mode when Jimmy told him we have to go. Solo came too. KO hit the Stunner. Sami with a Helluva Kick. They had the cover. No ref. Then out of nowhere, we had a ref. 1-2-3, Solo takes the pin. Champs retain. The crowd goes home happy. Roman is anything but happy.
Usos are watching on the rampway as Jey asked Jimmy what did you do! The story continues and I love it. Sami is mocking Roman from the ring as the show went off the air.
