Time for The Usos to defend the Smackdown Tag Titles against The Mysterios.  In the storyline, the father-son combo have had issues.  In real life?  Well we all know what Jimmy has been up to.

Dominick tries.  I will give him that.  It’s hard to grow up in the business on national TV.  Cole just said that Dom considered Eddy Guerrero an uncle.  Uh, did he forget the daddy storyline?

Anyway, Dom got distracted and got dumped to the floor by Jey.  They went to work on the kid.  The fans popped off the hot tag to Pops.  They are into it and are adding to the show.

The Stadium looks great by the way.  I will get there sooner or later.  Given how many masks I see not being worn properly in this crowd, I am betting on later.

Rey made a valiant attempt to get the belts back but Use and Use were too much and got the win.  The Usos are really good, Jimmy being Jimmy notwithstanding.  Rey is a legend.  Dom is a work in progress.

Tiffany Haddish is here at “the SummerSlam” with the “National Champion” Damian Priest.  She got prepped by Jeremy Piven I guess.

Boogz is in the ring.  He is bringing out King Nakamura.  Pat Mac loves him.  He is up on the desk dancing.  Pat commits.  I will give him that.  There wasn’t a match or anything, it was just about a Pat moment.  I am OK with that.  The fans seemed to love it.

Bianca Belair defends against Sasha Banks next.  At least that is what they told us before going to B Roll.  This situation has been odd.  I hope Sasha is there because if they knew she wasn’t and didn’t tell us, that’s just wrong.

Bianca is out first, to a big pop. Mike Johnson was right.  Sasha isn’t there.  Instead, Carmella gets a Title shot.  WWE just screwed the crowd and the fans watching at home.  Mike Johnson knew days ago she wouldn’t be here.  If Mike did, WWE did.  Yet they pushed this to the crowd.  If Bianca wins, the fans don’t care.  If Mella does, it’s even worse (and I think Mella is great).  The fans are booing, and rightfully so.

And before the match, back came Becky Lynch.  Sure, she is on the Raw brand but let’s not quibble.  The fans went from angry to happy.

I still don’t think they should have pushed Sasha when they knew she wasn’t there, but at least they made it up to the live fans with a big pop.  Now, why is she here?

She is there to destroy Carmella, which she did.  And now she is going back in the ring.  Looks like she wants a Title shot.  I can’t blame here for not wanting her old belt back given how that lineage has gone.  Yep, she wants a Title shot.  So Bianca has to do it or she looks weak.  She said yes.  Becky offered a handshake.  Bianca went to take it but Becky punched her. Becky hit her and hit a orange.  1-2-3, new champ.  WHAT THE F.  The crowd is popping but man, that was weak.  They can say “Bianca wasn’t ready” all they want.  They just made her look like a dope.  WWE booking is so, so bad.  But, at least the fans live liked it.  I hope they keep buying tickets.  It’s sad that while Sasha helped making Bianca at Mania, by not being able to work tonight, she just did the opposite to her.  No wonder I saw so many WWE talents making positive cryptic comments after CM Punk returned last night.  They all have their eyes on the exit door and I don’t blame them.

Crown Jewel is back in October.  Yay.  I couldn’t be less excited.

WWE brought out our two gold medal wrestlers from the Olympics.  No angles but it was cool.  Thanks, you represented our country well.

Extreme Rules is coming next month.  Get your Peacock ready.

Time for Jinder Mahal vs. Drew McIntyre.   Jinder was in control early but it didn’t last long.  With at least three matches left and the fight waiting, it had to be quick and it was.  Drew won pretty quickly.  When Jinder’s guys came down, Drew pulled his sword.  They left.  This was what it should be.  Drew had to win pretty easily because Jinder hasn’t been booked to be on his level.
