Match Number Five: Bronson Reed versus Damian Priest
They lock up and Reed backs Priest up and pushes him away. Priest with a wrist lock. Reed with a reversal. Priest with a reversal and he starts to work on the shoulder. Priest with an arm bar. Priest with a side head lock and shoulder tackle but Reed does not move. Reed with a shoulder tackle to Priest against the ropes. Reed with a shoulder tackle and he pushes Priest. Priest with forearms and punches. Priest with a jumping back elbow. Priest with a forearm off the turnbuckles.
Priest with kicks to Reed but Reed stays on his feet. Priest with a jumping back elbow into the corner but Reed catches Priest. Priest escapes and tries for a suplex but Reed blocks it. Reed with a DDT but Priest rolls to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Priest with a rear chin lock. We see footage from the commercial break when Priest pushed Reed into the ring steps. Reed blocks punches and Reed with punches and forerms to Priest. Reed with a sit out spinebuster and splash into the corner. Reed gets Priest on his shoulders but Priest gets to his feet and boxes the ears. Priest with a kick but Reed with a Samoan drop and back senton for a near fall. Priest with a flatliner and he punches Reed. Priest with a rolling elbow and springboard senton.
Priest with an elbow into the corner and he sets for the Reckoning but Reed blocks it. Priest with knees and he hits a Broken Arrow for a near fall. Reed with a blockbuster and both men are down. Reed with forearms to Priest but Priest with a cyclone kick. Reed with a splash and he goes up top for a frog splash but lands on Priest's back when Priest rolls out of the way. Priest goes for Reckoning but Reed with a jackknife cover for the three count.
Winner: Bronson Reed
We go to Io Shirai. She says when Dakota kicked her in the face, message received. Kai is acting as if she is a big star, but until she betrayed Tegan Nox, no one knew who Kai was. Dakota is a manipulator and she uses people and gets rid of them when she is done with them. Kai was afraid of Shayna Baszler but Dakota will be afraid of her after Takeover because I will win. You have pissed me off.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Cameron Grimes says he is at the right place at the right time. He has no time for KUSHIDA. It does not matter who the man of mystery is because he will take the victory. He says he will win the ladder match at Takeover.
Robert Stone says unless you have been living under a rock, the Robert Stone Brand has been en fuego. He is looking to the future and the future is very very bright. She says the future could include Kacy Catanzaro. You are hanging out with the wrong people. Stone says Kacy needs to lose the loser.
Kacy gets Stone to flinch and he stomps on the foot.J
Match Number Six: Kayden Carter and Kacy Catanzaro versus Mercedes Martinez and Aliyah (with Robert Stone)
Kacy with a head scissors to Martinez before the bell rings. Kacy with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Carter tags in and Carter with a jumping kick followed by one from Kacy. Kacy and Kayden with stereo super kicks. Carter with a waist lock and Martinez makes the tag. Martinez and Aliyah with a wheelbarrow and bulldog combination on Carter for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Aliyah with a neck breaker for a near fall. Martinez tags in and she kicks Carter in the corner. Martinez sends Carter into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders. Aliyah tags in and hits a leg drop for a near fall. Aliyah gets another near fall. Martinez tags back in and punches Carter. Martinez chokes Carter in the ropes and kicks and chops her in the corner. Aliyah tags in and stops Carter from making the tag. Carter kicks Aliyah away and Kacy and Martinez tag in. Catanzaro sends Martinez into the turnbuckles and connects with forearms. Catanzaro with a flip leg drop for a near fall. Martinez with a boot to send Carter to the floor.
Martinez gets Catanzaro on her shoulders and hits the Air Raid Crash for the three count.
Winners: Mercedes Martinez and Aliyah
After the match, Rhea Ripley's music plays and she makes her way to the stage.
Martinez is ready for Ripley and Rhea makes her way to the ring and Aliyah and Stone decide to leave.
Ripley with a boot to Martinez followed by a forearm. Aliyah hits Ripley but Martinez pushes Aliyah away and Martinez kicks Ripley. Shotzi Blackheart with a Saito suplex for Aliyah followed by an enzuigiri to Martinez.
We return to Casa Gargano and Johnny has a ladder as he prepares for his shot at the North American Title. Candice reads a story for her dog and Candice says the dragon didn't have to be there and she got in the fairy's way. The fairy is not evil. She is not evil. She tells Tegan to mind her own business.
Johnny tells Candice their kingdom is fine because he will save the day. There are a lot of fresh faces. Damian Priest and that Thicc Boy are hungry and talented. Johnny says they are not on the level of Johnny Gargano. You can't have a Takeover without Johnny Takeover. Regal put him in a qualifying match next week against Ridge Holland and he will beat Holland. Takeover XXX will be known as the night he becomes a two time champion.
Johnny fixes a light bulb and he says the next time he climbs the ladder, he will be fixing NXT.
We go to commercial.
We are back with Timothy Thatcher and his lesson is adaptation. He tells one of his students to lay down. He had the match won two weeks ago and he shows how he applied a second Achilles technique.
Next week, we will have a six man tag match with Legado del Fantasma against Breezango and Isaiah Scott. We will also have Johnny Gargano versus Ridge Holland and Finn Balor against the person who does not lose in tonight's main event.

Match Number Seven: KUSHIDA versus Cameron Grimes versus Velveteen Dream in a Qualifying Match for the Ladder Match for the North American Title at Takeover XXX
Grimes goes for Dream but Dream pushes him away. Dream grabs Grimes by the hair and Grimes with an elbow. Dream with a punch to Grimes and he drops Grimes on the top rope. KUSHIDA with an arm wringer and he sends Grimes to the mat. Dream is pulled to the floor but he stops Grimes and hits a double sledge off the turnbuckles and then gets a near fall with a rollup. Dream is sent to the floor and then KUSHIDA with a handspring kick to send Dream to the floor. KUSHIDA with a tornado DDT off the apron to Dream. KUSHIDA goes up top and Grimes knocks KUSHIDA off the turnbuckles.
Grimes chokes KUSHIDA and then kicks him in the corner. Grimes with a hard Irish whip to KUSHIDA and then Dream with a rollup on Grimes. Grimes with a clothesline to Dream. KUSHIDA tries to work on the arm but Grimes with a rake of the eyes. Grimes with an arm bar and chin lock. Grimes with a knee to the midsection. Grimes with a forearm to Dream on the apron and then he knocks him off the apron. Grimes returns to a chin lock on KUSHIDA.
KUSHIDA with forearms to Grimes and Grimes knocks Dream off the apron. KUSHIDA with a hip toss, cartwheel and drop kick to Grimes. KUSHIDA goes for a rolling double DDT but Dream and Grimes push him away. KUSHIDA with kicks to Dream. Grimes catches KUSHIDA on a handspring move. KUSHIDA with a punch to Dream. Grimes with a kick to KUSHIDA and then Dream kicks Grimes and all three men are down. Dream clotheslines Grimes over the top rope and then hits a clothesline off the turnbuckles to Grimes on the floor. Dream with a double sledge to Grimes off the turnbuckles follwoed by a kick to KUSHIDA. KUSHIDA kicks Grimes in the arm. Dream hits the Death Valley Driver to KUSHIDA but Grimes sends Deam to the floor.
Dream and Grimes exchange punches on the floor. Dream punches Grimes but Grimes rakes the eyes. KUSHiDA with a cannonball off the turnbuckles onto Dream. Grimes goes up top and KUSHIDA with a handspring kick. KUSHIDA and Grimes are on the turnbuckles and KUSHIDA floats over into the cross arm breaker. Dream tries to break up the hold but KUSHIDA is able to catch Dream and he applies the Hoverboard Lock. Dream escapes and gets KUSHIDA on his shoulders. KUSHIDA with a hoverboard lock. Grimes with Cave in and he pushes Dream to the floor to pin KUSHIDA.
Winner: Cameron Grimes
After the match, Dream slaps and punches KUSHIDA. Dream goes after someone who tries to break things up. Dream with a super kick to KUSHIDA.
Finn Balor makes his way to the ring and he stares down Dream.
