By Mike Johnson on 2018-12-14 19:00:00

Bully called out Flip Gordon and said, "Let's do this right now!"

Out came Gordon in the crowd, dressed in combat fatigues and carrying an American flag.  t

Flip Gordon vs. Bully Ray - I Quit  Match.

Flip hit a springboard clothesline into the ring and nailed a series of superkickes on Bully.  He nailed a kick, flipping off Ray in the corner and peppered him with punches.   Gordon nailed Ray with a chair, then tossed it at him, striking a Van Daminator on the outside to Ray, which brought up a "RVD" chant.    Gordon charged and hit a cannonball against the railing in the corner.  Ray cut him off and beat Gordon several times with trash can shots.  That brought up a sizable ECW chant.

Ray went under the ring and grabbed a table.  He set it up but Gordon came flying with a leg lariat.  Ray still regained control with chops and went to powerbomb him through the table.  Flip escaped and kicked Ray into the railing.  Gordon slipped a table into the ring,  Ray blasted him and tossed Flip rudely over the top to the floor.  Ray began whipping him with a belt on the floor.

Ray went after Cary Silkin on the floor.  Bobby Cruise stood up to him but was shoved down.  Todd Sinclair was shoved down as well.  Ray teased caning Cary but Chris Daniels dove in front to take the shot.  Gordon nailed Bully and chased him off but was backdropped on the floor.

Ray grabbed a woman, identified as Flip’s girlfriend and brought her into the ringside area, pulling her over the rail.  He teased powerbombing her through a table as Flip begged him to stop.  Cary nailed him with the cane.  Bully went after Cary but the girlfriend lowblowed him.

Flip gained control but was wiped out by Bully.  Silas hit the ring and they teased putting him through a a flaming table.  Colt Cabana tried to make the save but was beaten off.  They went to light the table on fire but the lights went out and when they came back in the ring, The Sandman was there with a Cane and he beat the hell out of Silas Young.

Flip nailed a series of superkicks and the Star-Spangled Stunner.  Sandman handed him the cane and Flip beat the hell out of Bully with two canes until he said he quit.

Your winner, Flip Gordon!

They told a hell of a story here with a lot of twists and turns.  Super entertaining.

ROH Champion Jay Lethal vs. Cody.

The crowd gave Cody a big reaction and chanted they loved him.  He responded, “I love you too….actually…if I loved you I’d be doing the MSG show” and crapped on the fans.  They responded with a “Stardust” chant.

Lethal took the mic and said that this was his freaking company.  He said that he was not only leaving Champion tonight but the shiny new toy (Cody) will be dull and gone.  The line didn’t get over.

They went back and forth, grappling in the ring.  Lethal began working over Cody, who feigned a knee injury.   He finally drilled Lethal.  Cody jogged around the ring to mock the “injury.”  Brandi ran behind him.  Lethal was frustrated.

Cody spent some time arguing with fans at ringside before trying to return to the ring, where he was blasted off the apron with a dropkick.  Lethal unloaded with chops and followed him around ringside, working the challenger over.  Lethal slammed Cody on the floor.  Lethal brought him into the ring, nailing a Suplex.

He worked over Cody, nailing a handstand into a dropkick for a two count.  Lethal nailed a running clothesline in the corner.  Cody cut off Lethal and drilled him with right hands and kicks.  He chopped Lethal in the corner and worked over his arm.  He controlled Lethal and did push-ups to mock the champ, showing that this was just a workout for him.

Cody continued to kick away at Lethal, who tried to fight to his feet but was staggering.   Rhodes worked him over in the corner with chops.  He cinched Lethal up for a Suplex and held him for a long time before dropping him forward.   Rhodes went for the Disaster Kick but Lethal ducked and drilled Cody in the back.  Cody was again grabbing at his bad knee as Lethal stomped him on the apron.

Lethal worked over Rhodes in the corner outside, slamming his leg against the ringside.  Lethal picked up Cody and drilled his knee down over Lethal’s.  Lethal worked on the back of Cody’s knee and then draped his leg over the ropes, stomping on it.  Brandi began to get very animated at ringside.  Lethal went for the figure four but Cody tried to escape.  Lethal rolled him up but Brandi got on the apron and argued with the referee, preventing him from getting the pin.

Cody regained control and nailed the CrossRhodes for a two count.  Rhodes maintained control until Lethal caught him in the corner with a dropkick to the knee.   Brandi got in the ring and tried to interfere but ending up spearing her own husband.  Lethal missed a superkick.  Cody and Brandi tried to nail a double clothesline (in front of the REFEREE) but Lethal hit a handspring cutter on Brandi.  OK.

Rhodes caught him with CrossRhodes again and scored a two count.   Cody went for the figure four leglock.  Someone rang the bell and Cody acted like he won.  It was Brandi.  Adam Page ran out and gave Cody the belt, then left back through ringside.  The referee refused to let Cody celebrate.  Lethal locked him in a figure four but Cody escaped and Lethal hit CrossRhodes, but Cody kicked out.

Lethal ascended to the top rope and went for the flying elbow but Cody pulled up his knees.  Cody peppered him with right hands and the Bionic Elbow.  He rebounded off the ropes but was caught with a clothesline, going over the top to the floor.  Lethal nailed a tope suicida to the outside, then followed up with a second.  He hit a third, fourth, fifth and sixth.  A seventh.

He went for another but Cody spit water in his face and went for a Gringokiller.  He nailed it but only scored a two count.  He worked over Lethal with punches.  Lethal kicked Cody into the referee, then nailed him with the ROH title belt.  Lethal gave Cody the finger and drilled him with several superkicks.  He nailed the handspring cutter on Cody and wiped him out with another superkick.  He went for the Lethal Injection, but Cody grabbed him.  Lethal nailed him and locked on the figure four.  Cody went for the ropes but Lethal pulled him back to the center, where Cody tapped.

Your winner and still ROH Champion Jay Lethal!

A good match that was hurt by the fact that it didn’t feel like anyone in the Hammerstein actually believed Cody had a shot at winning.  They told a good story, and both were really good here.

Marty Scurll hit the ring and faced off with Lethal as he's the next challenger and possibly the guy facing him at MSG.

NWA Champion Nick Aldis and his valet came out on the stage.  Lethal and Scurll both looked at him as he applauded them, then returned to the back.

ROH Tag Team Champions Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky vs. The Young Bucks vs. The Briscoes - Ladder War

Before this even starts, you are all getting fair warning there is NO WAY I can keep up with whatever nuttiness is about to go down.

They all faced off.  The Bucks were dressed like 1990s Rockers from WWE.  The Briscoes were flinging chairs.  All brawling.  Lots of trash cans smashing by the Briscoes on their opponents.  Mark put the ladder around his neck and used it like a battering ran on SCU.  He then spun around with it on his neck.  The Bucks nailed superkicks on him and then went after Jay Bricoe.  He tossed Nick to the outside but was drilled with a kick by Matt and nailed with a powerbomb into a ladder in the corner.

Scorpio Sky and Matt battled back and forth.  Kazarian, busted open, was wiped out by the Bucks’ synchronized offense.  They nailed stereo dives to the outside and then “too sweeted” each other.    They brought a ladder into the ring but SCU gained control and worked over Matt.  Sky nailed a big knee in the corner followed by Kazarian nailing a swinging mule kick in the corner.

A ladder was placed in the middle of the ring, leading to a mad scramble to get to the top and retrieve the ROH Tag Team championships.  Kazarian tried to drive the ladder into Nick, who caught it.  Matt ran under the ladder and speared him.   The Bucks tried to go to the top of the ladder, but Sky nailed a t

The Briscoes returned and just killed everyone with chairs.  They suplexed Matt into one of the ladders with reckless abandon.   He backdropped Kazarian who landed badly, snapping his ankle on one of the rungs of the ladder.  He went right to the corner holding his calf and foot.  Jay stomped him and smashed Sky with a chair.

The Bucks smashed Jay, throwing a chair in his face.  Sky nailed a double stomp on Matt.  Sky nailed a crazy tope con hilo to the floor on one of the Briscoes.  Matt nailed a springboard twisting moonsault to the floor.  He went for another move, but Jay cut him off and nailed a backdrop over the top, sending Matt to the floor.

Kazarian returned to the fray, fighting Jay.  He nailed a slingshot guillotine legdrop.  Kazarian caught Mark with a slingshot into a stunner off the apron through the table.  Jay was a bloody mess at this point.  Matt brought a sledgehammer into the ring but tossed it down and superkicked Jay.  He and Nick doubleteamed Sky.

Nick brought a ladder back into the ring.  They placed Sky on it, but he escaped and hit a leaping rana, sending Nick off the top crashing through the ladder. Sky was wiped out. Matt tried to get to the top of the ladder, but Jay nailed him with a chair, then hit a sideslam through the chair.   The battle continued with all sorts of insanity.

Jay charged and tossed a ladder over the top onto everyone on the floor.  Briscoe placed the ladder back in the center of the ring and set it up.  Sky attacked him, but Jay overwhelmed him and slammed him.  Jay climbed to the top, but Sky met him there and they battled.  They ended up back in the ring, where Jay nailed the Jay-Driller on Sky.

Kazarian returned to the ring but Jay met him and overpowered him.   Several ladders were set up in the ring.  Jay bridged one from the corner to a larger ladder in the ring.  Kazarian escaped a double team but was kicked by Jay.   Jay tried to climb the ladder but was nailed with a chair.  Kazarian nailed him with a Styles Clash, getting a huge pop.

Kazarian went to the top of the ladder but Mark met him there.  Kazarian punched him off the ladder and he took a bump off the top onto the bridged ladder.  OUCH.  Nick Jackson climbed another ladder but was shoved off and took an insane bump to the outside of the ring.

Jay and Kazarian battled on top of the ladder.  Kazarian was knocked off.  Jay grabbed the belts.

Your winners and new ROH Tag Team Champions, scoring their 10th titles, Jay and Mark Briscoe!

Just an insane bloody, violent, stunt show of war.

The show went off the air with the Briscoes celebrating.

That's it from NYC!
