IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA vs Matt Sydal

This is a non-title match. They go to the mat quickly and do a fast paced reversal sequence without either man able to get an advantage. Fast paced back and forth on their feet as KUSHIDA outmaneuvers Sydal, dropkicks his legs out, then baseball slides him in the face. Sydal responds with a leaping enziguiri and kicks back at KUSHIDA's legs. KUSHIDA with a sunset flip for 2 but Sydal lays him right back out and continues working on KUSHIDA's legs. Sydal with a heel hook, but KUSHIDA makes the ropes. KUSHIDA finally catches Sydal with a leaping enziguiri to the face, snaps his arm down on the top rope, and comes off the top himself...right into a leg lariat from Sydal. KUSHIDA with a rolling kick that sends Sydal out to the floor, then he springs to the top rope and dives off onto Sydal. KUSHIDA drills Sydal with a dropkick to the face as he comes in and connects with a moonsault for 2. Sydal sweeps KUSHIDA's legs and does a standing moonsault, but KUSHIDA gets the knees up and gets a key lock. Sydal makes it to the ropes and KUSHIDA knocks him silly with a Pelle kick. KUSHIDA goes for a handspring something, but Sydal counters in midair to an inverted Frankensteiner. That only gets 2, so Sydal goes to the top for the Sydal Press, KUSHIDA stops him and goes up for a top rope DDT, Sydal knocks him off and does the Sydal Press, but KUSHIDA moves out of the way and gets Sydal back in the key lock. Sydal gets out and they trade kicks until Sydal literally lands on top of KUSHIDA for 2. Sydal SLOWLY goes back to the top and hits the Sydal Press on the third try and covers for the win.

Winner: Matt Sydal

Terrific match, but kind of surprised to see KUSHIDA lose. He holds the title belt up in KUSHIDA's face instead of shaking and leaves. Sydal says he wants a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title anywhere on Earth that KUSHIDA wants it to happen. KUSHIDA comes back and shakes Sydal's hand.

Four Corner Survival: Adam Page vs Will Ferrara vs Moose vs Takaaki Watanabe

Page and Watanabe start off and Watanabe gets the advantage, then Ferrara comes in and goes at it with Page, hitting a flying headscissors. Page snaps Ferrara over with a powerslam for 2, then Ferrara gets dumped to the apron and Page picks him up and fallaway slams him into the ring for 2. Ferrara tags Watanabe in and he cleans house on Page, then Moose tags himself in and dumps Watanabe to the floor, backdrops Ferrara on top of him, and is ready to hit the ropes when Colby Corino gets on the apron and gets in Moose's face. Moose lays him out with a bicycle kick, then spears Page. Watanabe comes in and goes for a suplex on Moose, Moose escapes but Watanabe hits it on the second try. Ferrara rolls Watanabe up for 2, then Watanabe destroys Ferrara with some elbows and a SUPER hard STO for the win.

Winner: Takaaki Watanabe

Heck of a flurry from Watanabe at the end there.

Adam Cole vs Shinsuke Nakamura

They go right to the mat, but neither man is able to get an advantage. The crowd is torn right down the middle as Nakamura backs Cole to the ropes and taunts him with his "Adam Cole BABY" pose. They wind up brawling on the floor and I can't quite see what they're doing from my vantage point, but the fans sure seem to be liking it. Cole came out on top of whatever happened, and he chokes Nakamura with his boot as they head back inside. Cole whips Nakamura hard into the corner, then does it again, taking his time as he takes Nakamura apart. Nakamura catches Cole completely by surprise with some kicks, and just like that the tide has turned. Cole turns it right back by superkicking both of Nakamura's legs out, then another in the face and he covers for 2. Cole goes for the figure four but Nakamura scurries to the ropes, so Cole instead stomps repeatedly at Nakamura's knees. Cole dumps Nakamura to the floor, then gets him in the figure four when he comes back inside. Nakamura fights his way to the ropes, Cole goes for another figure four, and Nakamura counters to a submission. Cole counters to a rollup for 2, then they trade right hands and Nakamura lays Cole on the top rope so he can drill him with a running knee to the gut and a full rotation Regalplex. Cole drills Nakamura with a running knee out of nowhere, a superkick, and the Florida Key. That only gets 2 and Cole literally has to pull himself back from punching the referee in the face for that call. Cole with a bicycle kick, but charges into Nakamura's knees. Nakamura comes off the second rope with a kneestrike, and they're back to trading blows. Nakamura nearly puts him away, Cole blocks a kneestrike, hits the brainbuster on his knee, and goes for another. Nakamura blocks, hits waht looked like a Bizarro Driver, and finishes Cole with a running knee.

Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura

Great match to close the taping with. Fun night overall, this is going to make for a few weeks of really good TV.
