ROH World Tag Team Title Match: The Addiction vs The Young Bucks

The Bucks jump start the match, attacking the Addiction during introuctions. Nick takes Daniels out with a dive to the floor, Kazarian holds Nick for a superkick from Chris Sabin, but Nick moves out of the way and Sabin takes Kazarian out instead. The referee ejects Sabin, with the crowd politely asking Sabin to leave as the Bucks knock him out with a double superkick. Bucks with a flurry of double team moves once everyone heads back into the ring, but Kazarian shoves Nick off the top rope and Daniels chucks Matt out as well, then takes them both out with an Arabian moonsault. Daniels rolls Matt back inside and Kazarian connects with a slingshot DDT for 2. Now the Addiction is firmly in control, and they expertly shut down his many attempts to get to the corner and tag Nick. Mat finally manages to get away and Nick cleans house on both Daniels and Kazarian, shouting "you're dead!" as he enziguiris Daniels to the floor and tkaes him out with a slingshot DDT to the outside. Nick slingshots back in with a facebuster for 2, and Matt has recovered from his ten minute beating to join Nick in double teams on Kazarian. They hit the assisted rolling senton off the top on Kazarian, Daniels breaks the cover at 2, and the Addiction hits the parachute bomb for 2. Matt superkicks Kazarian, but Daniels hits a uranage and goes for the BME. Matt gets his boot up, Nick takes Daniels out, Kazarian hits Nick with a slingshot diamond cutter, and Matt superkicks Kazarian and all four men are down. They get to their feet, Daniels hits Matt with a curb stomp off the ropes, takes Nick out with a dive, then Kazarian hits the Wave of the Future on Nick and gets an armbar. The Kingdom runs down to ringside and attacks Daniels as the Bucks hit a powerbomb/enziguiri combo. They hit the double team spike piledriver on Kazarian, but he kicks out at 2.99999999. Suddenly a belt finds its way into the ring and everyone goes back and forth trying to hit each other with it until Maria gets ahold of it. Matt goes to superkick him, but Kazarian rolls Matt up and gets the three count.

Winners: The Addiction

Nigel McGuinness comes out and says that this company was built on professional wrestling and thinks the Young Bucks deserve another title shot, so at All Star Extravaganza in San Antonio, the Addiction will defend against both the Young Bucks and the Kingdom in a triple threat match.

ROH World Title Match: Jay Lethal vs Roderick Strong

The crowd is super hot for this one and are divided up pretty much 50/50. They hit it quick right off the bell, with Strong dominating the action and going for the Stronghold early. Lethal kicks him off to the floor and hits a dive, but Strong disrupts a second one and they wind up trading chops on the floor. Strong gets the better of that exchange and brings Lethal back inside for a cover, but Lethal is out even before a 1 count. Strong hits a gourdbuster, ducks a charge and sends Lethal to the floor, and goes for a baseball slide, but Donovan Dijack and J Diesel catch Strong coming through the ropes and give Lethal a chance to get a shot in and turn the tide. They go back in the ring and trade right hands, then Strong lays Lethal out with a chop. Lethal is right back up and elevates Strong in a fireman's carry, dumping him face first on the top turnbuckle. Lethal mounts Strong in the corner for the ten punch count, throws in a Dusty Rhodes elbow for good measure, and whips Strong hard into the opposing corner. Lethal keeps up the pressure and wears Strong down with a front facelock, he tries for a Lethal Combination, Strong blocks it and Lethal goes for a Lethal Injection, but Strong catches him and counters to a backbreaker. The tide has turned, and Strong is opening up with chops, tearing the champion up with a couple dozen of them. Strong yanks Lethal out of the corner and goes for a backbreaker, Lethal escapes, but Strong with a series of running forearms and a full rotation back suplex for 2. Truth Martini is livid at ringside as Strong drills Lethal with a kneelift and goes for the Gibson Driver. Lethal backdrops out, avoids a leaping knee, conencts with a superkick and hits the Lethal Combination for 2. Lethal puts Strong on the top rope for a superplex, Strong fights Lethal off and hits his own version of Hail To The King for 2. Both men are on their knees but still trading shots, then they get to their feet and trade chops, Strong gets the advantage and whips Lethal to the corner, drills him with a running kneelift to the jaw, then plants Lethal with a superplex and Lethal immediately counters to a small package. Lethal with a superkick and goes for the Lethal Injection, but Strong evades and drills Lethal with the Sick Kick. Strong covers for a real close 2, and the crowd thinks this is awesome as Strong and Lethal struggle back to their feet. Lethal tries to use the belt behind the referee's back but Strong drills him with a high knee, takes out the entire rest of the House of Truth, but eats a pair of superkicks from Lethal. Lethal chokes Strong with his wrist tape to distract the referee, then uses the belt when the ref turns his back to dispose of it. Lethal hits the Lethal Injection for 2.99999, and the crowd is going nuts for Roddy as Lethal superkicks him in the face and then connects with another Lethal Injection for the win.

Winner: Jay Lethal

It was shorter due to time constraints, but every bit as good as their PPV match. I feel confident calling this the best ROH TV match of the year so far.

Okay, I'm out and Mike Johnson tags back in for Episode 3!
