COMPLETE CM PUNK ON COLT CABANA'S ART OF WRESTLING COVERAGE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-12-02 11:54:26
As the conversation continues, it turns to CM Punk's health.

Punk said that he discovered a lump on his back that wasn't there the previous week and went to "Doc" [Note from Mike: I believe he means Dr. Amann] asking what it was.  Punk said he was told it was, "like a fatty deposit."    Punk said that," That's fine but it wasn't there last week."  Punk said there's a fascination within the WWE locker room of cutting things open and filming it with everyone watching and said, "Benoit used to pop dude's zits."  He said that anyone who has ever been in the locker room knows what he is talking about and said he wanted it cut out.

WWE's medical tells Punk it's a calcium deposit so they are going to leave it.  Punk says the lump gets bigger a few months later and goes back to the WWE doctor, who asks him if it hurts.  Punk says that it doesn't.  The Doc says they are going to leave it.

Punk said, "Let me ask you something doc?  Is that your medical opinion or are you just a lazy piece of shit because I've seen you cut a million of these things out of somebody."  The Doc responded that Punk needed to wrestle and he might need a stitch after.  Punk said that the same doc put 14 staples in his forehead and Punk wrestled the same night, "So what's the difference?"

Cabana asked if Punk had a theory as to what it was.  Punk said, "No, but it wasn't here yesterday.  Cut it out and get it gone."  Cabana explained that what he meant was why Punk thought the WWE doctor didn't do anything.  Punk said, "Lazy."

Punk said he had broken ribs and a concussion and they are giving him a Z-Pack because he feels like hell.  Punk takes rhe medication and can't sleep.  They give him stronger meds and he's worried he's going to poop himself again in the ring and that Vince McMahon was going to make that Punk's new gimmick.  "Get all white tights..."

Punk said that the 2014 Royal Rumble season was coming and Batista was coming in to be in the main event but he was still motivated to have a great showing and make them change their minds about the Wrestlemania main event.  He references watching the Mick Foley documentary and how Vince brought Mick out of retirement to have his Wrestlemania moment (Wrestlemania 2000, where he worked the Four Way) because "Foley never had one before he left."  Punk said he watched that documentary and thought, "Well, motherf***er.  I'm still here.  I'm not retired yet."

Punk said at the Rumble, he knew he was going to have a great showing and would show them that Randy Orton vs. Batista was going to be a "big stinker of a main event at Wrestlemania."
