COMPLETE CM PUNK ON COLT CABANA'S ART OF WRESTLING COVERAGE

By Mike Johnson on 2014-12-02 11:54:26
Punk said he doesn't like [WWE] and doesn't have to like it and is moving on to things that make him happy, like writing comic books and he's been training every day.    Cabana said he's going to be able to venture out and do new things in a new world.    They talk about Punk going into new things and Cabana said that even if he fails at some of them, it's awesome that he will be doing them.

Punk said that he failed at wrestling and his goal of being in the main event of Wrestlemania.   He said that even though Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn told him he should have been on last at Wrestlemania 29 and he thought, "Yeah, I know."  He said that's the feather in his cap.

Punk said he feels good having discussed all of this.  He said some people will be a sheep and think he quit, but he got fired and laughed at that.   Punk said he doesn't want to be that crazy guy who is like "F*** WWE."

He said that when people online write that he doesn't speak to his friends from WWE anymore (naming that Chris Jericho said that in the reports), Punk said that he still talks to his friends, just not people with ulterior motives that are looking to go back and use conversations for their podcasts and blogs and looking to use that for attention.

Punk also said he wanted to clear the air on the story of a fan at a Blackhawks game who asked him for a picture and that Punk blew him off.  Punk said that he was out with his wife on a date night on one of the rare nights they have together.  He joked that unfortunately, the other people he took a photo with didn't post online how he took photos with them, but the one guy who yelled, "Hey Phil?  Can I get a picture?" with no please or thank you did so just as Punk was trying to buy his wife a hot dog and had his hands full with the other food they had purchased.    Punk said there was no please or politeness, so he ignored it.  Punk said he is fine with people coming up to him in public, but only when they come up and are polite and ask politely.

"If you are nice to me, I'm nice to you.  If you are rude to me, I'm rude to you."

They close out telling the story of Punk seeing a guy in Los Angeles who had on a Colt Cabana t-shirt, so he paid for the guy's breakfast and tried to sneak out before the guy could see who did it.
