The Briscoes vs. The Young Bucks

Monster reaction for the Briscoes.  They attacked the Bucks at the bell.  All four brawled on the floor.  Jay hiptossed Nick Jackson on the entrance's ramp. Back in the ring, the referee was calling for order to be restored.   The Briscoes worked over Nick in the corner with chops.  Mark hit a leaping dive over the top to the floor on Matt.  They tossed Nick back into the guard rail.

The Bucks made a comeback with some double team maneuvers including Matt hitting a crazy feet first dive to the outside on Mark.  Nick worked over Mark.  Matt tagged in and came off the top with a double stomp.  He worked over Mark in the corner with shoulderblocks.    Mark fired back and brought Nick into a corner but it was the Bucks' corner so Matt blind tagged in and continued working him over with a pair of superkicks for a two count.  Jay broke it up.

Jay finally tagged in and worked over the Bucks.  He hit an STO on Nick, dropping him down on Matt's lower extremities.    He went for a Fireman's Carry but Nick nailed him. He got the better of the exchange and pressed Nick overhead but Matt kicked him in the face.    The Bucks took control again, working over Jay in the corner with forearms.  They whipped him into the corner and drilled him with a stiff clothesline from Matt.  They hung Jay over the ropes and Matt held him up hanging for a Nick 450 splash across the back.   Jay finally came back with an exploder on Nick and tagged Mark.

Mark set up Nick in the corner and drilled him with a big palm strike.   Mark ascended to the top but was attacked by Matt.  Matt was fought off but by the time Mark leapt off he was nailed with a superkick in mid-air.  The Briscoes went for a Doomsday Device.   The Bucks fought them off but Nick was caught with the Doomsday Device and pinned.

Your winners, The Briscoes!

Another great back and forth match.  A nice mix of brawling, high spots and double team moves.  Hell of a match!

ROH TV champion Jay Lethal vs. Roderick Strong - Proving Ground Match

This is a non-title bout with the stipulation being that if Strong wins or takes Lethal to a 15 minute draw, he gets a TV title bout.  They locked up and did some nice matwork.   They went back and forth and faced off.   Strong went for a sunset flip but Lethal rolled through and nailed him with a dropkick.  Lethal nailed a legdrop for another two count.

Lethal chopped Strong in the corner and went to the outside to climb to the top.  He went for a springboard into the ring but Strong kicked him in the face.    Strong began working over Lethal with stomps and kicks.  They battled back and forth.  They fought to the outside and Strong kicked him with a diving kick to the outside.   Strong worked him over and choked him against the ropes.

Strong worked him over with an armbar, trying to force a submission.  Lethal fired back with several punches but Strong nailed him a dropkick for a two count.   Lethal and Strong battled back with chops.  Strong drilled Lethal into the corner.   Strong caught him with a leg lariat.  They battled in the center.

They continued back and forth as two minute were left.   Strong locked Lethal in a Boston Crab.   Strong nailed him with a gutbuster.   With one minute left, Lethal kept trying to get the pin.  Strong tried to run the clock down but Lethal chased him back into the ring and locked in a figure four leglock.

The time limit expired.

A draw.

Jim Cornette came out and said that Strong made it the 15 minutes and has his guaranteed title shot but the crowd wants five more minutes.  He asked Truth Martini if he'd like to give the crowd something they want.  Strong balked so Cornette asked him if he wants to the crowd to see him as a p***y or whether he wants to give them five more minutes.  Strong agreed.

They began brawling back and forth in the ring, slugging it out.  Strong kneed him and nailed several leg lariats and a leaping kick for a two count.    Strong went for a butterfly suplex but Lethal backed him into the corner.  Jay caught him with the Lethal Combination for a two count.   Strong locked in a Boston crab and sunk it in, trapping Lethal in the center of the ring.  Lethal was able to force his way out and caught Strong with an inside cradle for a two count.  Strong nailed a gutbuster but Lethal came back with a handspring into the ropes into a cutter for the pin.

Your winner, Jay Lethal!
