Next up is what I have been waiting for, The Miz defending his Intercontinental Title against Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a Fatal Four Way Match.  This should be soooooo good.

KO was our first, to a big pop.  Cesaro was next, also to a big pop.  KO was great mocking Cesaro in the ring during the entrance.  Sami was out next, also to a good pop.  And then, The Miz, with Maryse.  Cesaro was shown in the ring doing pushups.

The match started with Sami nailing KO with the Helluva Kick, putting him out.  Cesaro then blasted Miz with a forearm.  Sami and Cesaro will face off.  The fans were doing the Ole chant for Sami as they exchanged holds.  Sami got Cesaro on the floor but Miz stopped him before he could fly.  He fought back, threw Miz to the floor and Sami went over the top.  They sold that KO hasn’t moved.  Come on, he is being tactical you dummies! More Ole chants as Sami stalked Miz.  Miz suckered him and then went to work on him. They showed KO and he looked like he is dying.  Miz went up to the top but Sami caught him.  Before he could do anything Cesaro came in and went for a double powerbomb when suddenly KO made the announcers look bad, as came roaring in.  Byron still didn’t get it, saying KO hit the panic button.  Uh no, he is a heel that was taking advantage of the circumstances.  KO then went to work on Sami.

KO was yelling MY TITLE as he used Sami as a weapon to keep the other two out of the ring.  The fans chanted Kevin Owens while others countered Sami Zayn.  Miz then came back in and attacked KO as he went up the ropes.  Owens flight his way out until Miz and Zayn, teamed with Cesaro to do a three way superplex on KO.  Cesaro got a two on both Miz and Sami.  KO rolled to the floor.  Sami hit the Blue Thunder Bomb on Cesaro but Miz came in and broke it up.  Miz got two counts on Cesaro and Sami.  I was just thinking how good this was when I heard my first “this is awesome” chant. Cesaro did an Exploder on Sami AND Miz.  Fans are loving it, and rightfully so.  Cesaro went into uppercut mode, running from corner to corner on all three.  Cesaro has two cuts on his head.  He went to swing Miz but Owens hit a suplex and then he went to the corners hit the guys with cannonballs!  He went for the pop on Sami, but got reversed.  Cesaro nailed Sami with an uppercut but Miz came in with the SCF and got a 2.5.  This match is great.

Miz went to work on Cesaro, attacking him for kicking out of his finisher.  Cesaro did a corkscrew, springboard uppercut and then it was swing time.  In a cool spot, he looked as if he was going to let him go, then brought him back up.  He locked on the Sharpshooter but Mix got to the corner and grabbed Maryse.  When Cesar pulled him back in, she came too.  The ref was throwing her out when Miz tapped.  He didn’t see it.  Cesaro was trying to pull Miz off the ropes when KO splashed him.  Cesaro hit the Neutralizer on KO but Sami came out of nowhere and broke it up.  The crowd is going nuts with Oles.  Sami got a two.  I can’t even keep up.  Watch this damn match.

Sami and Cesaro in the ring, Sami ran into an uppercut but he then suplexed Cesaro into the corner.  KO came out of nowhere to break it up and as he was going for the win, Miz pulled him out.  As he was going for the win, Maryse got in the way and allowed Miz to nail him with the SCF on the floor.  Miz went back in for the win, but Cesaro kicked out.  The fans are loving this.  I feel bad for whatever follows it.

Cesaro backed dropped Miz to the floor but Sami came in with the Helluva kick.  He was going for the win when KO pulled him to the floor.  Sami went after KO instead of the pin.  Miz managed to roll in and grab the pin on Cesaro.

I really wanted to see a Title change but I am OK with this.  I would love to see this again at MITB next month.  It was awesome.

Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose in the Asylum Match get to follow that.

Jericho looked a little apprehensive when he came out.  Ambrose just looked happy.  They were chained in the cell.  JBL mentioned that it would have been Brian Pillman’s 54th birthday today and Ambrose is crazy, like Brian was.  There are weapons all around the cage.  Jericho immediately ran over and asked to open the door.  That doesn’t work in this match.  It’s chained shut until it’s done.  Jericho tried to get a weapon but Ambrose stopped him and threw him around the cage.

Dean took too long in trying to get the mop and bucket, so Jericho came up and they fought over it.  Dean won and use the end of it on Jericho’s ear, knocking him to the floor.  Then he used the handle to beat on Jericho and do a Russian Legsweep.  Then of course, he rubbed the mop in Jericho’s face.  Chris hit a kick and dropkick and got a two.  He was made about being hit by a mop so he mopped Dean in the face.  Jericho the pointed to the barbed wire two by four and went for it, but Dean stopped him by suplexing him.  Jericho then got the barbed wire but Dean got nunchucks.  Dean knows how to use them so he got the better of Jericho.

Jericho then climbed to the top of the cage, for a break since you can’t win that way.  Dean stopped him but Jericho grabbed a kendo stick and beat Dean with it until he fell back in the ring.

Jericho went to work with the nunchucks.  And then slapped Dean.  He climbed up to get the strap. Y2J whipped Dean with it repeatedly.  Dean caught Chris and took it from him.  And then he went to work with it on Jericho but then got caught and got whipped into the cage.  Y2J wanted the door to be opened again so the ref said no, not the rules.  Dean got a fire extinguisher while Jericho pulled the straightjacket in as he feel down.  He threw it on Dean and kicked him, getting a two count.  Jericho then through hands on Dean.  He put him in a straightjacket but couldn’t lock it on.  Dean fired back with punches and forearms.  He got a two with a clothesline.  Jericho got a two as well.  After a running bulldog Dean went up top but Chris met him.  Dean hit him with elbows and headbutts.  He then went to the top of the cage.  Jericho stood up and Dean hit the elbow from the top.  Should have been the finish, but two count only.  How doesn’t THAT pin someone?  He hit Chris a few more times and then went up for the plastic mop bucket.  In it was a bag.  Guess what?  Thumbtacks, that’s what.  Jericho saw them and look scared.  He started climbing out.  Dean caught him on his shoulders but got rolled up for a two.  It was all about who would take the bump on the tacks.  Dean bounced off the cage but when Chris went for the Lionsault, Dean got the knees up.  Jericho countered Dirty Deeds with the Walls.  Will Dean tap?  No!  He managed to get the stick and beat Jericho with it.  As Dean was coming off of the ropes with the stick, Jericho shot the fire extinguisher in his eyes, but only got a two count.  These guys are taking some abuse.  Jericho went back to the barbed wire two by four and nailed Ambrose in the gut and back.  Jericho mocked Dean to get up, and when he did Dean caught Jericho as he went for the Codebreaker and dumped him in the tacks.  Jericho’s arm was bleeding from the tacks. Damn!  Dean hit Dirty Deeds and got the pin.

I don’t know how you “rate” that as a match so I won’t bother.  It was brutally physical and these two took a ton of abuse and worked their asses off.  This match is a reminder of why I am glad I am on this side of the ring.  Those two were real men in there.
