NEW AEW CHAMPION CROWNED AND MORE: COMPLETE AEW ALL IN: TEXAS COVERAGE

By Cory Strode on 2025-07-12 14:12:00

We get a nice stage presentation to hype the next Assassin's Guild game. And we can get a 25% discount on the latest game, which I doubt you can tell from the last few Assassin’s Guild entries.

Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson)

If Ospreay and Strickland lose, they cannot challenge for the AEW World Championship for one year. If The Young Bucks lose, they will be stripped of their Executive Vice President titles.

Taz takes Nigel's place on commentary.

JoJo Offerman sings to bring Swerve to the ring. I do not see Prince Nana with him, but he is at ringside leading the crowd in a chant once Swerve is in the ring.

And since this is the time for plugs, you can listen to me talk about comics on my long-running podcast (15 years!): https://krayzcomix.solitairerose.com/

The Bucks come to the ring on a boat as a Founding Fathers–style intro is read for them.

Will starts with a side headlock on Nick, and Matt gets a blind tag immediately. They double-team Will and Swerve, who go to the floor to regroup. We get all four men fighting in the ring, and the Bucks knock them to the floor again. Will tags back in and knocks Nick off the apron before going after Matt. Swerve is tagged in and they double-team Matt. Will gets a Sky Twister off of Swerve’s back for two. They keep Matt in their corner and work him over with quick tags.

Matt dodges a charge from Will, and this leads to the Bucks working together with double-team moves. Will gets an enzuigiri on Matt, but they are able to get a series of dives onto Will as he is draped on the ropes of the apron. Swerve dives to the floor, and the Bucks land superkicks on him. Will is rolled into the ring and worked over in the Bucks’ corner. Will finally gets a leaping stomp on Matt’s midsection, but Nick cuts him off from tagging.

Will gets a double Oz Cutter on the Bucks and makes the hot tag to Swerve, who runs wild. We get all four men in the ring, and Swerve and Will land double hurricanranas followed by double dives. Matt is rolled back into the ring, and Swerve and Will double-team him with kicks. They go to the top and hit stereo Sky Twisters—Nick is hit by Will and Matt is hit by Swerve—for a two-count.

Will tags in, and Swerve is knocked to the ground from the top by Nick as the Bucks start to double-team Will, working him back to their corner. Matt gets a two-count on Will after they hit a rope-assisted two-man slam, and Nick dives on Swerve on the floor. Will takes punches from Matt, and they start to power him up. They throw hands, which fires Will up. Nick lands a boot from the outside, and Matt gets a clothesline and knocks Swerve off the apron.

There is a super-fast sequence of kicks and moves from everyone that is insanely paced. Swerve and Will land stereo Destroyers and sliding elbow strikes on the Bucks to end it. All four men are down. Swerve and Will are up first, go to the top, and the Bucks join them. Swerve and Will hit Styles Clashes on the Bucks for two.

Will and Swerve hit a Swerve Storm Storm Breaker for two, broken up by Nick. Swerve calls for the House Call. Nick pulls Matt out of the way, and on the floor, Nick hits Nana with a superkick. Matt gets a roll-up on Will with his feet on the ropes for two. Matt then lands a low blow on Will while blocking the ref’s view. On the floor, the Bucks hit a TK Driver on Swerve. Matt hits a Hidden Blade on Will and follows with More Bang For Your Buck for two.

The Bucks set for an EVP Trigger, and Will escapes—only for them to grab him and hit it, but Swerve breaks it up at two. The crowd explodes for that. Swerve throws hands and makes one Buck kick the other. Will grabs a surprise roll-up for two. Will goes for the Hidden Blade and accidentally nails Swerve. The Bucks hit another EVP Trigger on Will for two.

The Bucks hit another TK Driver on Will for two. They wrap Will on the middle rope for superkicks. Swerve slowly crawls to get in the way of the next superkick. Swerve takes superkicks and slowly gets back up and takes more. The Bucks try for an EVP Trigger, and Swerve grabs their legs. Swerve comes off the top to jam the Tombstone Piledriver from Will on Matt. Will hits a Hidden Blade on Matt for two, broken up by Nick.

Swerve gets a stomp on Nick on the floor, and Matt takes a House Call and Hidden Blade. Swerve covers for the pin and the win.

Winners: Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland.

Women’s Casino Gauntlet

Kris Statlander and Megan Bayne

This is a hoss fight with lots of big power moves. Kris gets a Fate’s Descent on Bayne.

Willow Nightingale

They throw hands and then lots of power moves off the ropes. Bayne stops their brawl with a flying clothesline on Willow. Bayne and Kris double chokeslam Willow.

Tay Melo

As Tay is running wild, Harley Cameron returns with a mask to protect her nose. Anna Jay is there as well, and they chase off Penelope Ford, who came down with Megyn.

Thekla

Thekla gets a big dive from the top and then works over Kris, broken up by Tay.

Lots of big moves are broken up by the next person.

Julia Hart

Julia sings her theme as she and Skye Blue come to the ring. Julia gets an octopus hold, but Tay gets a Gotch-style piledriver, broken up by Thekla.

Queen Aminata

Aminata and Thekla continue their feud. Willow hits a senton to break up Aminata’s pin on Thekla. Blue and Julia work over Willow. Hart and Thekla get superplexes while hanging on the top and glare at each other.

Mina Shirakawa

Mina clears the ring and gets caught by Kris and Bayne. Mina fights them both off at the same time. Mina puts a figure-four on Blue.

Athena

Athena then clears the ring and takes everyone out at ringside as well.

Thunder Rosa

Rosa and Athena pick up where they left off last night. Aminata breaks up their fight and Kris breaks them up. Then Willow, as everyone gets a tejaris—then Bayne—then Rosa on Bayne.

Syuri

Syuri and Mina fight it out.

Alex Windsor

Alex and Syuri have a good sequence in the match. This leads to everyone brawling in the ring. We eventually get back to Kris and Bayne fighting on the apron. Willow and Athena fight on the apron as well, and the sequence of everyone getting in a finisher is on the floor. Kris gets a powerbomb on Bayne onto the women on the floor.

In the ring, we have Rosa and Mina going back and forth. Mina gets a series of unanswered strikes, and Athena dives from the top onto them and covers Rosa for the pin and the win.

Winner: Athena
