WWE ID Men's Title Tournament Opening Round Match: Cappuccino Jones (1-1) vs. Ricky Smokes (0-1)
Cappuccino Jones rushes at Ricky Smokes and brings him down to the mat. Jones grabs an arm bar and drives Smokes into the corner. The referee breaks up the hold and Smokes rolls to the floor. Smokes gets back in the ring and is brought to the mat by Jones again. Jones gets a one count on a pin attempt and then grabs a front facelock. Smokes fights out of it and grabs a side headlock. Smokes is sent to the ropes. Jones avoids Smokes and hits a dropkick. Jones works Smokes over in the corner and then rains down punches to the back of Smokes’ head. Jones hits a jumping neckbreaker for a two count.
Jones hits an elbow to the back of Smokes’ neck, but Smokes shakes it off and pushes Jones into the ropes. Smokes lays in some punches and a chop. Jones fights back with some punches of his own. Smokes reverses a whip, but Jones is able to lay in some punches. Jones hits a hard right hand that drops Smokes for a two count. Smokes plays possum as Jones tries to lift him and hits two slams in a row. Smokes lays in some kicks on Jones and then hits him with an elbow to the back of the neck. Smokes hits a back elbow for a one count.
Smokes applies a chinlock. Jones tries to power out of it, but Smokes drives him into the mat. Smokes works over Jones in the corner with shots to the gut and then hits a suplex for a two count. Jones blocks a punch from Smokes and hits a series of punches of his own. Jones drives Smokes’ head into the top turnbuckle and then cranks Smokes’ head between his legs. Smokes fights back with back elbows, but eats a sit out powerslam from Jones. Jones climbs to the top rope, but Smokes cuts him off.
Smokes meets Jones on the ropes, but gets pushed off. Smokes runs up the ropes again and tries to throw Jones. Both men land awkwardly and are slow to get up. Jones ducks under a rushing attack, but eats a back elbow. Smokes goes for a springboard moonsault, but Jones moves out of the way and hits the DECAFinator for the win!
Winner: Cappuccino Jones
Ricky Smokes has been eliminated from the tournament.
After the match, Brad Baylor runs to the ring and attacks Cappuccino Jones. Swipe Right double teams Jones until Sean Legacy makes the save.
WWE ID Men's Title Tournament Opening Round Match: Sean Legacy (2-1) vs. Brad Baylor (2-0)
Sean Legacy goes right after Brad Baylor as the bell rings. Baylor is sent to the ropes and Legacy hits a low dropkick. Legacy snapmares Baylor and kicks him. Legacy hits a standing moonsault for a two count. Baylor rolls to the floor and has the referee check on his tooth. Legacy approaches and Baylor uses the referee as a buffer to take a shot at Legacy. Legacy ducks under a chop and Baylor chops the ring post. Legacy then lays in shots on Baylor all around the ring. Legacy hits Baylor with a series of overhand chops against the guardrail until Baylor rakes the eyes of Legacy. Baylor sends Legacy into the ring post.
They get back into the ring and Baylor rains down punches on Legacy. Baylor works Legacy over in the corner and then hits a big uppercut. Legacy starts to fight back, but eats a back elbow and a rolling neckbreaker for a one count. Baylor rains down punches and then grabs a side headlock down on the mat. Legacy fights out of it, but Baylor hits an uppercut. Baylor charges at Legacy, but Sean lifts up Baylor and drops him on the top turnbuckle.
Legacy blocks Baylor’s punches and hits some punches of his own. Legacy hits a running kick in the corner and then lifts up Baylor. Ricky Smokes comes out from the back and distracts Legacy. Legacy rolls Baylor up, but Baylor shoves Legacy off to the ropes. Smokes hits Legacy, which allows Baylor to roll Legacy up for the win!
Winner: Brad Baylor
Non-Tournament Match: Timothy Thatcher vs. Sam Holloway
They lock up after a tense staredown and Timothy Thatcher quickly brings Sam Holloway to one knee. Holloway tries to reverse it, but Thatcher grabs an arm and brings Holloway to the mat. Thatcher twists Holloway’s arm between his legs and then falls back on it for a two count. Thatcher goes back to the hammerlock, but Holloway stands out of it and grabs a side headlock. Thatcher drives Holloway to the ropes and they break. Holloway slips behind and brings Thatcher down. Thatcher quickly reverses and gets a one count on a pin attempt. Thatcher grabs a front facelock and transitions to a bow and arrow. Thatcher lets go of the hold and hits an uppercut. Holloway responds with a big tackle.
Holloway lays in two big strikes and then chokes Thatcher on the middle rope. Thatcher strikes Holloway in the gut and hits an uppercut. Thatcher ties Holloway up in the ropes and hits him in the midsection a few times. Thatcher goes for a belly-to-back suplex, but Holloway blocks it and hits a big forearm. Thatcher rolls to the floor and Holloway follows him out. Thatcher gets in a couple of shots, but Holloway lifts him up and throws him into the ring post. Holloway sends Thatcher into the guardrail and then the ring post. Thatcher is sent into the guardrail again and then is sent into the ring.
Holloway hits a rope-assisted elbow drop for a two count. Holloway grabs a chinlock and cranks it. Thatcher tries to hit a belly-to-back suplex, but Holloway blocks it and clubs down on Thatcher. Holloway hits Thatcher with a couple of short clotheslines in the corner and then goes for a kick. Thatcher catches the kick and grabs an ankle lock. Holloway makes it to the ropes to break the hold, but Thatcher lays in a hard kick and a headbutt. Thatcher applies a spinning toe hold and transitions into a figure four leglock. Holloway has to kick out while in the hold, but then strikes out of it. Thatcher goes for another spinning toe hold, but Holloway kicks him off and hits a scoop slam for a two count.
Holloway grabs a front facelock. Thatcher slips out and locks on a calf crusher. Holloway makes it to the ropes. Thatcher grabs Holloway’s leg again. Holloway tries to kick Thatcher off, but Timothy is able to lock on a single leg crab. Holloway makes it to the ropes again. Holloway hits a couple of back elbows and then a shotgun dropkick. Thatcher rolls to the apron. They exchange strikes over the top rope until Thatcher lays Holloway out with a forearm. Thatcher then slips off the apron to the floor.
Thatcher rolls back into the ring and eats some strikes from Holloway. Holloway hits a sit out chokeslam for a two count. Holloway hits Thatcher with a short clothesline. Holloway goes for another short clothesline, but Thatcher grabs an arm bar. Thatcher transitions to an Indian Deathlock for the submission win!
Winner: Timothy Thatcher
