It’s time for the Gauntlet Battle Royal, which uses Royal Rumble rules until we’re down to the last two, and then you can win by pinfall or submission.
Rich Swann and El Phantasmo start the match.
They wrestle for two minutes with lots of chain wrestling and running the ropes. We also get the Swann dance bits.
Bhupinder Gujjar
He does more high-flying than a man his size should normally do.
Brent Banks
Another high-flier who gets in a lot before the 90 seconds ends and he is eliminated by Gujjar as our next person comes in.
Rhino
Everyone gets gores.
Billy Gunn
Gunn and Rhino face off and clothesline each other down. El Phantasmo is eliminated by Gunn.
Psycho Mike
Mike dodges charges from Gunn and Rhino so that they hit each other. No body slams on Rhino or Gunn for Mike. Gunn and Rhino console him before Gunn gets a backdrop on him.
Slex
Gujjar keeps getting tossed and keeps skinning the cat until Slex finally tosses him over the top.
Michael Allen Richard Clark
Everyone gets a right hand on Michael. Psycho Mike starts handing out body slams, even Rhino takes one, and finally Gunn takes one. Michael takes a body slam from the apron to the ramp, so he is eliminated, but he pulls Psycho Mike to the floor as well.
PCO
Everyone gets a clothesline. Slex gets eliminated by PCO. He then eliminates Gunn. Rhino is next. PCO then just batters Swann.
Johnny Parisi
Dan Moff hits the ring during Parisi’s entrance and he takes out security as they hit the ring. Jimmy Jacobs comes to the ring with a chair and hands it to Moff and Moff attacks PCO with it. Moff then chokes out PCO with his belt as Jacobs sits on the chair to watch.
QT Marshall
Jacobs leaves the ring and QT dumps PCO. Swann, the other participant left, gets moves in on QT before QT gets a pop-up diamond cutter.
Josh Alexander
He goes right after QT and suplexes him around the ring.
Sheldon Jean
Jean is QT’s protégé and Josh goes after him as well. QT and Jean are able to recover and work over Josh. Josh clothesline QT to the floor and out of the match.
Santino Marella
Santino eliminates Parisi. Marella pulls out the Cobra and attacks Jean with it.
Bishop Dyer
Dyer and Josh work with each other until Jean joins in and takes an End of days. Dyer then blocks the Cobra and forces it to strike Marella, and Marella is dumped to the ramp.
Mo Jabari
Everyone left is brawling in the ring.
Raj Dhesi
More brawling and we get Dyer and Dhesi working against each other for a bit.
Alex Zayne
He gets a few movies and I think the entrants are speeding up.
Matt Cardona
Matt gets the last entrance. Dyer and Matt go at each other to start.
Jabari is eliminated by Swann.
Zayne is eliminated by Dyer.
Dyer and Swann are eliminated by Cardona.
Dhesi is eliminated by Jean with help from QT.
QT holds Josh for Jean, but Josh ducks and Jean nails QT.
Jean is eliminated by Josh.
Josh Alexander vs Matt Cardona
They throw hands and Cardona rakes the eyes. He whips Josh into the ringpost from the inside. He then whips Josh into the ringpost on the other side of the ring. Cardona gets a face wash in the corner for two. Josh is able to get a power bomb into a backbreaker on Cardona after Cardona tries for Radio Silence.
The crowd is chanting for Josh.
They trade blows until Josh gets a trio of German suplexes. Cardona pulls the ref in the way of a charge from Josh, and then hits Radio Silence for two. Cardona goes to the top and misses a senton and Josh grabs an ankle lock. Josh pulls Cardona from the ropes, but Cardona kicks him off and gets a roll up for two.
Josh gets a big right hand and then hits the C4 spike for the pin and the win.
