We are told that Penta faces Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at Backlash.
JD enters clubhouse and he wants to know what was going on. Dom says he will take care of Penta at Backlash.
AJ shows up and he says he is not here to start a fight. He gives some friendly advise . . . maybe it is a warning. He says whoever wins at Backlash, he is coming after the title.
Dom talks about everyone after him. He asks Finn if he has a history with AJ so he can deal with him.
Finn asks if his job is to clean up Dom's mess. He says he will take care of him.
Chad Gable is in the back and Kofi and Xavier stop by.
Kofi says it is time that Chad and American Made get some respect. Woods says they took care of the War Raiders. Opportunities need to come to American Made.
Chad says he likes that.
Becky Lynch stops by and Woods says it is messed up what Lyra did to her.
Becky walks to the ring.
Becky says she is in Omaha. She responds to the people chanting that she sucks. Becky says she is very confused about what is going on here. You are treating her like she is the bad guy. She says she is the victim. She took out Bayley. When she walked down the ramp at Wrestlemania, everyone lost their minds. No one asked or cared where Bayley was. Bayley is garbage. She took out the garbage. Becky says you say thank you when someone takes out the garbage. She also took out the recycling because that is what Lyra is. She is less offensive but still garbage. The garbage is her attitude. She doesn't have a dream or title if it isn't for her. She doesn't have a fiancé if it isn't for her.
Lyra's music plays and Becky talks about the disrespect.
Lyra asks if Becky just called her recycling. She says Becky is the queen of recycling because she has been doing that for years. You do you. Lyra says her problem is that Becky takes any credit for her success. You didn't make her. You went on holidays and everyone got better. You went on holidays and she made history of her own. You are what this championship needs? Lyra says she has defended the title more days than Becky has been on the job this year. Lyra says she sees it clearly. You shattered glass ceilings, but you left the glass on the ground and you expected everyone to follow since you weren't taking them with you.
Becky says everyone had their best years when she was gone because she wasn't here to be compared to. She does not like anybody and she is not here to help anybody. She says she is very good at what she does. Magazines say she is the best who ever did it. It does not matter how good you will be, you will only be the moment after the moment.
Lyra says she takes it all back and she tells Becky to continue to list her achievements. Lyra starts to go through what Becky did but she points out that she was the first Intercontinental Champion, not Becky. You hate that she is the first ever. As long as she is here, she hopes Becky likes second place.
Becky tries to punch Lyra but Lyra blocks it and she punches Becky and takes her to the mat. Lyra avoids a clothesline in the corner and Lyra wiht shoulders. They fight to the floor and Lyra sends Becky into the ringside barrier and apron. Officials come out to stop them and since there are only three of them, it doesn't work too well.
Becky tells everyone to look at this disrespect.
Lyra gets into the ring and Becky goes for a uranage and Lyra with Night Wing.
Roxanne Perez says she was expecting a better reaction because she has put the division on notice. Ask Rhea Ripley or Iyo Sky. You love them because they are mediocre, just like this boring city and all of you in the crowd. Roxanne says she is far from mediocre. She is a former NXT Tag Team Champion. She is a former NXT Champion. She says she is the most decorated person from NXT. You might have won at NXT, but that doesn't mean you are the top star. Your time at the top will be short thanks to her.
Match Number Three: Roxanne Perez versus Iyo Sky in a Non Title Match
They lock up and they go to the ropes. Iyo with a side head lock. Iyo with a shoulder tackle. Perez slaps Iyo after a cartwheel. Perez goes to the floor and Iyo follows after her. Perez with a handstand satellite head scissors but Iyo lands on her feet. Iyo with a drop kick and Perez goes to the floor. Perez with a drop kick to the knee and she stomps on the back of the leg. iyo kicks Perez away and Iyo goes to the apron. Perez with a leg sweep and a suicide dive. Iyo is sent back into the ring and she hits a suicide dive. Iyo sends Perez back into the ring and Perez slaps Iyo on a springboard move. Iyo puts the leg on the turnbuckle and stomps on it.
Iyo struggles but beats the count. Perez kicks Iyo in the hamstring and wraps the leg in the ropes. Perez with a boot to the knee. Perez gets a near fall. Perez with a knee drop to the leg. Perez with kicks to Iyo. Iyo kicks back. Perez with an uppercut and a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Perez with a forearm to the back. Perez with a step over toe hold. Iyo kicks Perez to try to get out of the hold and she succeeds. Iyo sends Perez to the apron but Perez with a leg sweep and she wrings the leg into the ring post a number of times.
Perez goes up top and Iyo stops her. Iyo goes up top and they fight on the turnbuckles. Iyo with an arm drag off the turnbuckles. Iyo with a forearm and Perez fires back. They continue the exchange and Iyo gains the advantage. Iyo with a shotei and a flapjack. Iyo with a round kick for a near fall. Iyo drops the arm on the top rope and Iyo with a missile drop kick. Iyo sets for the running double knee strike but her leg gives out and Perez with a victory roll but Iyo rolls through and hits a double stomp for a near fall. Iyo with a dead lift German suplex and she rolls through. Perez blocks the second German attempt and Perez with a belly-to-back suplex. Iyo with a back breaker.
Iyo goes to the turnbuckles for a moonsault. Perez moves and Iyo's knee buckles. Perez with a satellite head scissors driver followed by Scorpio Rising for a near fall. Perez pie faces and slaps Iyo. Perez with a kick and she goes for a sunset flip but Iyo with a handspring to escape. Perez with a dragon screw. Perez with a rollup and backlund Bridge for a near fall. Iyo and Perez alternate near falls. Iyo iwht a double leg nelson for the three count.
Winner: Iyo Sky
After the match, Perez offers her hand and Iyo shakes it.
Perez leaves the ring and . . .
Giulia attacks Iyo from behind because, as Dark Helmet says, good is dumb.
Giulia and Perez attack Iyo. Giulia pulls up Iyo and Perez with a thrust kick and Giulia with a curb stomp. They do it again.
We go to commercial.
Erik and Ivar are wtih Adam Pearce in OFFICE. They want the New Day.
Chad Gable comes in and he says the War Raiders won because of Penta. Chad says his guys deserve a title match.
Ivar says they have won twice.
Woods says they want title matches to go to new challengers. Kofi says they want to face new opponents before getting rematches.
Erik says they will take care of the Creeds and then deal with the New Day.
Pearce makes the match.
Pearce calls Chad 'Americano' and wishes him a Happy Cinco de Mayo.
Match Number Four: Otis (with Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa) versus Rusev
They lock up and they go to a stalemate. They lock up again and they go back and forth in the ring until they statemate again. They lock up and Rusev with a knee and forearm. Rusev with punches and kicks in the corner. Otis with an Irish whip and Rusev with a clothesline out of the corner but Otis does not move. Rusev with another clothesline that does not move Otis. Otis with a roll and shoulder tackles but Rusev stays on his feet. Rusev with a jumping spinning heel kick. Rusev kicks Otis. Rusev with a European uppercut and kicks. Rusev chokes Otis in the ropes. Rusev with knees to the midsection and Otis with a kick. Otis with a punch.
Otis with a forearm. Rusev with an Irish whip and shoulder in the corner followed by a clothesline. Rusev with a judo throw and kick. Rusev with elbows to the clavicle. Rusev with a reverse chin lock. Otis gets back to his feet and he uses his rear end to escape the hold. Otis with a head butt or two. Rusev with a drop kick that sends Otis to the floor. Rusev goes to the floor and Tozawa and Maxxine back up. Rusev kicks Otis in the head and Otis with an exploder over the announce table. Otis sends Rusev into the ring steps. Otis with forearms but he misses and hits the ring post. Rusev kicks the ring post when Otis moves. Otis with a back fist. They return to the ring and Otis with a splash into the corner.
Otis runs into a jumping thrust kick. Rusev says it is over and he stomps on the back and he applies the Accolade. Otis taps out.
Winner: Rusev
After the match, Rusev takes his time releasing the hold and Tozawa says he is going to face Rusev now.
Tozawa rips off his shirt and Rusev leaves the ring and he gives the 'Chong Li phooey' hand gesture.
Tozawa checks on Otis and Rusev with a Doctor Bomb onto Otis. Rusev sends Otis shoulder first into the ring post. Ruse sends Otis into the opposite ring post. Rusev brings Otis back into the ring and Rusev with a jumping thrust kick. Rusev reapplies the Accolade.
Officials come to the ring to force Rusev to release the hold.
Rusev finally releases the hold.
