The Street Profits and B Fab walk in the back while the Motor City Machine Guns walk in another part of the arena. They will meet for the tag titles.
Solo Siko bumps Apollo Crews coming through security and Crews says something to Solo but Jacob Fatu beats him up. They are not only going to deal with Crews as they go after members of security. Solo signals for them to move on.
Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring.
Cody asks the people of Minneapolis what do they want to talk about. Cody says next week is the return of Saturday Night's Main Event featuring pro wrestling's best. It is what set WWE aflame. It would be the honor of a lifetime to compete on that show. He says it is not that simple because of Kevin Owens.
The music for American Made plays and Chad Gable comes out with Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, and Ivy Nile.
Chad says Cody might be asking why the greatest athlete to come out of Minnesota is here tonight? That is because the transfer window is about to open and Nick Aldis talked about bringing the greatest technical wrestler to Smackdown. Chad says this is his home town and these are his people. He says they are a bit simple minded. They are a bit gullible so they will believe anything you say. Chad says he wants to talk some truth to everyone.
Chad makes his way into the ring and he tells Cody when he first came back to WWE, Cody was the beacon of what he wanted to be. He says he can dress like Cody. What isn't easy is being a good and loyal friend, like Kevin Owens. Chad says he knows about bad friends. He mentions that idiot Otis. Chad says when he was at rock bottom, Otis left him high and dry, just like you did to Kevin. You are a bad friend. You are not who you say you are. You are the definition of superficial. All Cody cares about is what everyone else thinks about Cody. He is willing to leave friends aside.
You teamed with the one guy who made Kevin's life a living hell. Chad says he would never do that. He says whatever Cody is going to get, he deserves it.
Cody repeats what Chad said and he says it is a good point. Cody asks the fans if they will be his friend. Cody says he is disappointed that it is Chad who is saying all of this vitriol. He says he sees a lot of himself in Chad. You have made things that weren't necessarily special into something special. You maximized your minutes. Cody brings up Shorty G. He tells Shorty that he is looking at Stardust. Cody says he knows all about what Chad is going through and what he is seeking. Cody says Chad might think he has nothing to lose, but he has so much to lose. What happens when you fail again? Cody says what he learned from Wrestlemania 39, he could not nowhere else than at himself. What happens when you don't succeed. What happens if you do not succeed? Do you get rid of Brutus. You have one of the top female stars in Ivy and what happens to her. He starts to talk about Julius and Chad interrupts.
Chad says if he didn't have this suit on, he would whoop Cody's ass.
Cody asks Chad what he just said. Cody says you are here to talk to Nick but he tells Chad to lace up his boots ask Nick if he can go one on one with him tonight. Cody says he has Kevin on his mind and that is not good for you.
Michael says that the show leaders are trying to shift people between rosters.
Bianca is talking to Naomi and she shows off the marks from War Games. Naomi tells Bianca she has it.
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven show up and they tell Bianca that since they are done with War Games, she can deal with the Jade mystery. She can provide more time since she lost in the tournament.
Bianca asks if it was Piper who took care of Jade because Chelsea cannot win on her own.
Bianca punches Green and Piper but Piper kicks Bianca in the injured ribs.
Match Number One: Tiffany Stratton versus Naomi versus Elektra Lopez in a Women's US Title Tournament First Round Match
Naomi and Tiffany exchange punches while Lopez watches. Lopez with knees to Naomi and she sends her to the floor. Naomi runs into a bicycle kick from Lopez but Tiffany with a forearm to Lopez. Lopez with a forearm and knees. Lopez sends Tiffany to the mat. Lopez with a drop kick for a near fall. Naomi with a shoulder from the apron but Lopez sends Naomi back to the floor. Tiffany with a shoulder tackle and then she does a cartwheel and hits a drop kick for a near fall. Tiffany with a handspring back elbow into the corner. Naomi kicks Tiffany from the apron and she goes up top and hits a cross body on Tiffany. Naomi with a drop kick to Lopez.
Tiffany with an Irish whip to Naomi but she floats over and runs on Tiffany's back. Naomi tries to leap off Tiffany's back but she slips to the apron. Naomi with a kick to Tiffany and she gets a near fall on Lopez. Tiffany with punches to Naomi. Naomi slides under a double clothesline and she hits a double mule kick and a springboard double cutter. Naomi with a pescado onto Lopez. Naomi goes for a suicide dive but Tiffany with a forearm. Tiffany with a running double stomp to Naomi on the apron. Tiffany kicks Lopez and she hits a suplex. Tiffany gets a near fall. Tiffany goes for a slam but Lopez with an ankle pick and she applies a single leg crab. Tiffany goes for the ropes but a break is irrelevant in this match.
Lopez pulls Tiffany into the center of the ring and tries for a cross face but Tiffany blocks it. Lopez with a crucifix on Tiffany. Naomi gets a near fall. Tiffany gets a near fall. Lopez clotheslines Tiffany but Naomi runs through it. Lopez catches Naomi and hits a uranage for a near fall. Lopez with knees to Tiffany in the corner. Lopez kicks Tiffany to the floor. Naomi misses a round kick and Lopez with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall. All three throw punches at each other. Naomi with kicks and Rear View to Tiffany followed by an X Factor to Lopez.
Candice LeRae shows up and Naomi punches her off the apron. Lopez stops a split legged moonsault but Naomi escapes and hits one. Tiffany with a slingshot hesitation senton and then she hits a Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the three count.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton (advances to face Michin in SemiFinals)
Corey and Michael are distracted by something backstage.
We go to Byron Saxton and Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford are down and Nick Aldis says they need medical attention.
Alex and Chris stop Nick and he advises them and Johnny Gargano of what happened.
Johnny says they can jump in.
Nick says it isn't the time and Johnny asks Alex and Alex says it is okay.
Nick tells Johnny not to make him regret it.
Match Number Two: Bianca Belair versus Piper Niven (with Chelsea Green)
Bianca with a leap frog over Piper and Bianca with shoulders in the corner. Bianca goes for a slam but she cannot get Piper up due to the injury. Bianca with a shoulder in the corner and then she punches Piper from the turnbuckles. Piper grabs the braid and pulls Bianca to the mat. Bianca with a drop kick but Piper bounces off the ropes and hits a splash for a near fall. Piper kicks Bianca in the ribs. Piper sends Bianca into the turnbuckles. Piper with punches to the injured ribs. Piper sends Bianca into the turnbuckles again. Piper goes for a Piper Driver but Bianca gets to her feet and she kicks Piper. Piper blocks an Irish whip but Bianca with a kick. Green grabs Bianca's leg and Bianca kicks her away. Piper with a Bossman Slam for a near fall.
Piper sends Bianca to the floor and while Piper discusses the NFC Central standings with the referee, Green kicks Bianca in the ribs. The referee makes his count but Bianca beats it. Piper with a kick to the ribs and shoulders in the corner. Bianca drops Piper on the top rope. Bianca goes for a suplex and Piper blocks it and Piper hits a suplex of her own for a near fall. Bianca kicks Piper and she Irish whips Bianca. Piper with another hard Irish whip. Piper with a boot to the back and she kicks Bianca more times. Piper goes for an abdominal stretch near the ropes and Chelsea holds Piper's hand to give her extra confidence.
Bianca tries to give Piper a hip toss but she cannot get Piper over and Piper with a hip toss and a few back sentons. Piper gets a near fall. PIper with a waist lock and Piper turns it into a bear hug. Bianca with punches and her braid to get out of the hold. Bianca with punches. Piper with a head butt and both are a little staggered. Bianca counters a Piper Driver into a sleeper. Piper with a snap mare to escape and Piper misses a splash when Bianca moves. Bianca goes to the apron to avoid a splash in the corner. Bianca sends Piper into the turnbuckles. Bianca sends Piper into the turnbuckles. She goes back to the other side of the ring and sends Piper into the turnbuckles. Bianca with a cross body and she gets a near fall.
Bianca with a running shoulder into the corner and she goes to the turnbuckles for punches. Piper sets for a power bomb but Bianca with punches. Bianca with a spear and she gets a near fall. Bianca goes for KOD but she cannot get Piper up. Piper with a Saito suplex and Piper sets for a cannonball but Bianca gets to her feet and she hits a spinebuster. BIanca with a handspring moonsault but Piper gets her knees up. Piper misses a cannonball when Bianca moves. Piper catches Bianca and hits a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Piper pulls Bianca into the corner and she goes to the turnbuckles but Bianca with a forearm to the back and she goes for KOD but Green gets on the apron and Bianca brings Green into the ring. Bianca with KOD onto Green and Bianca gets the three count.
Winner: Bianca Belair
