Adam Pearce is in the ring and he is in a New Day memorabilia filled ring.
Adam says they are here to celebrate ten years of the greatest tag team in WWE history.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods make their way to the ring and they look at what was brought out for them.
Kofi tosses some pancakes into the crowd and then Woods does the same.
Pearce congratulates them and he says this night and moment is theirs. Adam says he would love to let them know how much him and the fans think New Day Rocks. The crowd chants.
Woods says being part of WWE and being successful in WWE for ten years and getting to this point is so much more than what they expected when they started this. Woods thanks everyone.
Kofi says it has been one hell of a ride. He says never in his wildest dreams did he think they would accomplish so much and have so much fun. They couldn't have done it without each other and they couldn't have done it without all of you. Kofi thanks the fans.
The crowd chants for Big E and Woods says they miss him too.
Woods says they wanted to come out face to face with everyone and what they are about to tell you is not your fault. They have nothing but love for each and every one of you.
Kofi says they have talked and in light of what went down last week, they both feel that when it comes to the New Day going forward . . .
Big E's music interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.
E thanks the fans and he says that he wishes he was here under different circumstances. To see the two of you argue and bicker and say some of the most hurtful things you can imagine to each other, it troubled his soul. He says when they started this ten years ago, they were all that they had. Kofi, you were mulling over retirement. He says that him and Woods were close to getting fired. He says when he was at his worst moment, you were both by his side at his hospital bed to make sure he was okay.
He says that Kofi and his family came to his home while in a neck brace. He reminds Woods that he was the first one to be with Woods after he won King of the Ring.
What they built was special. He says it means a hell of a lot to him. He says until he is medically cleared to return to this ring, he says he will remind the two of them who they are. He says he will be here to cheer for you, to root for you and to uplift you. He says he will be here every week to serve as their managers.
Woods thinks of the right words to say and he says now? Now you want to come back. After you watched them fight for months and argue to the edge of the cliff when the only thing left to do is jump off the cliff. Woods tells E that he left them.
E says he broke his neck.
Kofi says that E left them. You broke your neck, but so what. Steve Austin broke his neck and he came back. Kurt Angle broke his neck and he came back. Edge broke his neck and he came back.
Woods says they didn't have anyone waiting for them. You had something familiar to come back to. You did nothing. Woods says they thrived without him.
Kofi says with as big as you are and the fact that you didn't have surgery, you couldn't have been back if you didn't want to.
E says he has met with doctors.
Woods says he tore his achilles off his bone and he was back in nine months for you.
Kofi says if you really cared about them, you would have been back a long time ago. You would have been cheering them on but you chose your new life over them. You chose your new ventures over them. You chose your girlfriend over them. You chose your desk job over them.
Woods says there is a burden placed on them where everyone says they miss E. Woods says they miss E too, but E doesn't miss them.
Kofi says their philosophy has been about the brotherhood over everything else. You, broken neck or not, you chose yourself over us.
Woods tells E to stop teasing all these people. You are never going to be medically cleared. Since that is the case, why don't you get the hell out of this ring and get back to your desk, where you belong. Woods says they will call him if they need him.
E says he is not going to throw this away. He says they can fix this. It has been a decade.
Kofi puts his hand out to stop the hug.
E asks if it is over like this. E leaves the ring and walks to the back.
Kofi looks at Woods and they say it is them. They shake hands.
We go to commercial.
Karrion Kross says he has done a lot of bad things to people and he has liked it. Last week . . . he sent the creature after his wife. Words will not get him what he wants. He wants them all in the arena next week. You got to Scarlett to get to him and it worked. You started this fire and now you are going to burn in it.
Match Number Three: Dominik Mysterio versus Gunther in a Non Title Match
Dom pushes Gunther as the bell rings. They lock up and Dom with a front face lock and Gunther puts Dom on the apron and pats him on the head and he kicks Dom to the floor. Gunther goes for a power bomb but Dom counters with a head scissors into the ring post. Dom with a drop kick through the ropes and a suicide dive. Gunther returns to the ring and he backs Dom into the corner and Dom misses a chop. Dom with a chop of his own and he realizes he might have made a major mistake. Dom is sent into the corner and he avoids a chop. Dom goes through the legs but Gunther with a kick. Gunther catches Dom on a cross body and Gunther with a slam.
Gunther with a front face lock and he send Dom tot he mat. Gunther with a chop. Dom chops Gunther and Gunther with a forearm. Gunther with a snap mare and he works on the neck. Dom with a kick but Gunther blocks it and he chops Dom. Gunther with a Boston Crab and he pulls Dom into the center of the ring. Dom gets to the ropes. Gunther chops Dom and he slaps Dom in the head. Dom with a chop and Gunther chops Dom. Gunther tells Dom to chop him and Dom follows with forearms and more chops. Gunther chops Dom and applies a sleeper but Dom and Gunther back the referee into the turnbuckles and he kicks Gunther low. Dom with a 619 to the midsection followed by a drop kick and a 619. Dom with a frog splash for a near fall.
Gunther blocks a suplex and he chops Dom and follows with a kick. Gunther with a power bomb for the three count.
Winner: Gunther
After the match, Finn Balor gives Gunther sling blade and follows with a drop kick to send Gunther into the turnbuckles. Finn with Coup de Grace. Finn tells Dom to watch and learn. Finn goes up top again and hits another Coup de Grace. Finn goes for a third one and hits Gunther in the ribs.
Finn walks to the back and he says Dom needs to watch and learn.
Cathy Kelley is in the back with Pete Dunne. She asks him about his match against R Truth.
Pete stops Cathy before she says the 'b' word. Truth doesn't know what is going on so he will make it clear. Tonight it is Pete Dunne versus R Truth.
There is a commotion in the back and we see Jey Uso down and he is holding the back of his head.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Four: Pete Dunne versus R Truth
Dunne with an enzuigiri and kicks. Dunne stomps on the arm. Pete stomps on the head. Pete works on the neck and he kicks Truth. Dunne with another kick to the head and he connects with hammer fists. Pete gets distracted by the fans and Truth with a rollup for a three count.
Winner: R Truth
Cathy is with Bron Breakker and she asks him about the match on Saturday.
Bron says it was a great challenge and he told both . . .
Ludwig Kaiser shows up and he says that the championship could be his. He accomplished what he said he would do. He said he woutd put an end to Sheamus after injuring his rib. A rib for a rib. Now it is time for him to take the title and bring it back to Imperium.
Bron says he knows that Kaiser would come here and say that he didn't get pinned and he will talk to Pearce. He wants to see the look on Kaiser's face because he will never hold this title. Bron says that Kaiser is on his way to get out from under Gunther's shadow and he tells Kaiser to do it faster.
Next week, Rhea Ripley faces Raquel Rodriguez. Lyra Valkyria, Zelina Vega, and Ivy Nile are in the first round match in the IC Title tournament. We will have an eight man tag match with the Wyatts against The Final Testament and Miz.
Sami Zayn wants to know from Adam what happened to Jey. Pearce says he is trying to figure out what happened.
Sami says he knows who did it and he is about to whip his ass in the middle of the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Pearce tells someone on the phone to make it official.
Finn Balor wants to know when his title match happens.
Pearce talks about the War Raiders and Finn says he is talking about Gunther.
Pearce says that Gunther wants the match so the match happens at Saturday Night's Main Event. He says next week, he has a title match.
Match Number Five: Sami Zayn versus Seth Rollins
They lock up and Seth with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Sami sends Seth over the top rope to the floor. Sami sets for a dive to the floor but Seth moves and Sami with an Arabian press back into the ring. Seth returns to the ring and they lock up. Seth with a hammer lock and he takes Sami to the mat. Sami gets to his feet and he connects with a forearm and he sends Seth into the turnbuckles. Sami with a forearm and Seth fires back. Seth sends Sami into the turnbuckles and follows with a chop. Sami with a chop and they go back and forth. Seth wth a back breaker. Seth with a hard Irish whip. Seth with a waist lock.
Sami with a back elbow and forearm. Seth with a chop and Sami goes down. Sami with a chop and Seth chops back. They go back and forth and then turn it to forearms. Seth with the advantage and Sami leaps frogs over Seth and hits a clothesline. Sami with a kick and he sends Seth into the turnbuckles. Sami with punches to Seth. Sami with an elbow off the turnbuckles and he goes back to the turnbuckles. Seth blocks Sami and sets for a Pedigree. Sami counters with a Blue Thunder Bomb and Sami gets a near fall. Seth with an enzuigiri but Sami with an exploder into the turnbuckles. Sami sets for the Helluva Kick.
Seth with a super kick to stop Sami and he misses Black Out. Sami slaps Seth and Sami says he knows it was Seth who attacked Jey. Seth sends Sami into the ring post twice. Seth returns to the ring to break the count. Seth goes to the floor and he sends Sami over the ringside barrier into the time keeper's area. Seth says it wasn't him and Sami with a kick. Sami sends Seth into the ring post. Seth returns to the ring but Sami gets a chair before he returns. Seth begs for mercy and he says he knows it was Seth who attacked Jey.
Seth says it wasn't him. He says he wouldn't do that. He tells Sami to ask Punk. Sami thinks about it and he tosses the chair to the floor. Seth with an inside cradle for the three count.
Winner: Seth Rollins
After the match, Seth tells Sami to use his head.
Sami turns around and Drew McIntyre hits Sami with a Claymore.
