From Korakuen Hall, Tokyo Japan:
1 - Tiger Mask, Shoma Kato and Katsuya Murashima vs. Great O-Khan, Callum Newman and Jakob Austin Young
Jakob Austin Young makes his debut for New Japan and the newest addition to United Empire. He has wrestled on the West Coast with various independents and New Japan Strong.
Young pins Murashima after a Shiranui.
2 - Shota Umino and Jado vs. Ren Narita and Yoshinobu Kanemaru
Jado goes for a Green Killer on Narita. Narita grabs the referee. Kanemaru hits a Suntory Surprise (whiskey spray) in Jado's face. Kanemaru grabs the referee. Narita hits Jado in the leg with the Push Up Bar. Narita traps Jado in a leg submission.
Jado taps out.
3 - Tomohiro Ishii and Tomoaki Honma vs. Gabe Kidd and Jake Lee
Lee hits a Face Break Shot on Honma. Lee goes for the pin but pulls up Honma. Lee hits a Brainbuster on Honma, which is Ishii's finisher.
Lee pins Honma easily while Kidd holds Ishii from coming to save him.
The Mad Bastards beat down Ishii after the match.
4 - Ryusuke Taguchi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano and Boltin Oleg vs. SHO, Yujiro Takahashi, Dick Togo and EVIL
Taguchi goes for a Dodon on SHO, who grabs the referee. Yujiro uses his Pimp Stick to shove it in Taguchi's backside.
SHO pins Taguchi with small package.
House of Torture lays out the Tanahashi, Oleg and Yano and they pose with NEVER 6-man belts.
5 - DOUKI and TAKA Michinoku vs. Taiji Ishimori and Gedo
Ishimori taps out TAKA with a Bone Lock.
DOUKI will defend the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Championship against Ishimori on September 11.
6 - Tetsuya Naito and BUSHI vs. Zack Sabre Jr. and Kosei Fujita
Big chants for both Naito and Zack in Korakuen Hall. They are pumped up for their title match in October.
BUSHI goes for a Fable submission on ZSJ, but he reverses and ties BUSHI's legs in an Indian Deathlock and grabs a chinlock.
BUSHI taps out.
7 - Hiromu Takahashi and Shingo Takagi vs. HENARE and Francesco Akira
Takagi hit a Pumping Bomber on Akira, but Akira kicks out. Takagi hits Made in Japan.
Takagi pins Akira.
HENARE will defend the NEVER Openweight Championship against Hiromu Takahashi tomorrow in Korakuen Hall.
8 - NJPW World Television Championship: Yota Tsuji vs. Jeff Cobb
Good match. Cobb threw Tsuji around the ring. Tsuji showed his power by lifting Cobb into his signature moves. Cobb hit his own Malo Crash and Gene Blaster. Tsuji kicks out. Tsuji goes for a Gene Blast and Cobb hits a knee to the face. Cobb hits an F-5000. Cobb goes for the pin and the bell rings as the referee is about to count 3.
Time Limit Draw.
Jeff Cobb retains the NJPW World Television Championship.
After the match, Ren Narita hits a Hell's Guillotine to Jeff Cobb's throat. Narita hits Tsuji with the Push Up Bar. Narita demands a title shot and says the Television Title belongs to him. The Korakuen crowd was so pissed off. They hate House of Torture.
Cobb gets the mic and tells Tsuji "Happy Birthday", which it was. The crowd applauds. Cobb promises to get even with Narita.
