We are back and Rhea is in a good mood. Priest says that he didn't get his hands on Dom but he asks if he said yes to Rhea. Rhea says he said Yeet.
Gunther makes his way to the ring.
Gunther says on Saturday, Bash in Berlin was the highest grossing gate for an arena show in the history of WWE. Gunther says you Denver degenerates have an opportunity to look at the man responsible for it. He says there is more to celebrate because he beat one of the greatest legends. He said a lot of personal things to Randy, and even though he was right, he wanted the greatest Randy Orton in Berlin. Gunther says he can say he beat the greatest version of Randy Orton. At the end of the day, the big weekend was another chapter in the legacy of the greatest World Champion.
Sami Zayn's music plays and he makes his way to the ring but he is not his normal bouncy self.
Sami says it is crazy to hear Gunther talking about legacy because he says he has taken the last few weeks to think about his title reign and where he is going. When it comes to that title, they call it the workhorse title and they talk about who held it. The true greats and legends like Savage, Austin, Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart. All of those guys won the Intercontinental Title and used it as a stepping stone for the World Championship. Sami says that is what Gunther did and Sami says that is what he is going to do. Sami says he wants the World Title.
Gunther says all of them used the Intercontinental Title as a stepping stone and they stepped up. When you held the title, you stepped down. That list of legends was impressive and your name was not on it. Gunther says that is why the people like you. When you get knocked down, you pick yourself up and return to the ring. When things don't go your way, you pick yourself up and return in the middle of this ring. Now you stand in front of him to challenge him for the title. That is impressive. He hears the passion in Sami's voice and the passion in his eyes. If you want a shot at this more than anything else, Gunther says his answer is no.
Gunther leaves the ring.
Samii says he watched Gunther his entire career and he never backed down from a fight but why are you backing away from this fight. You have beaten many greats, but Sami says he is the only one to beat Gunther in the middle of the ring.
Sami says that Gunther can run and hide, but he is coming for him and he will be a World Champion.
Jackie Redmond is with Jey Uso.
Jackie asks if Damian and Rhea gave Jey advice to face Bron.
Bron Breakker interrupts the YeetFest and no member of Jey's family beat up a member of his and it won't be him. He tells Jey to keep Yeeting and go after Mami. He tells Jey to walk away and go after Dom's sloppy seconds. If you don't and come after his title, you will lose.
Jey tells the rookie thanks for the advice. Jey says that Bron has his attention now. He will will the tournament and the title and he will beat Bron's ass while doing it.
Finn Balor and JD McDonagh prepare to walk to the ring when their match eventually happens.
Match Number Five: Braun Strowman versus Sheamus versus Ludwig Kaiser in a Number One Contender First Round Tournament Match
Kaiser goes to the floor and Sheamus follows after him and punches Kaiser. Kaiser punches back as they go around the ringside area. Sheamus with a Finlay slam on the floor and Braun with a Wacky Lap and he holds his ribs. Braun sends Sheamus into the ring post. Braun with a shoulder tackle attempt but Kaiser moves and Braun goes through the ringside barrier.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sheamus misses a shoulder in the corner and hits the ring post. Kaiser hangs Sheamus in the ropes and he drop kicks Sheamus to the floor. Kaiser goes for the floor for the Wacky Drop Kick but he is hit with a flying chair from Braun Strowman. Braun sends Sheamus into the ring and he hits a clothesline and a second one. Braun with a choke slam for a near fall. Braun misses a splash into the corner and Sheamus kicks Braun in the back and Braun goes to the apron. Sheamus with punches to the back and he connects with many forearms. Sheamus with a jumping knee to knock Braun off the apron. Kaiser with a rolling Death Valley Driver for a near fall.
Kaiser goes for the swinging reverse DDT but Sheamus escapes. Kaiser with an enzuigiri and Sheamus with a boot but Pete Dunne pulls Sheamus out of the ring and sends him into the apron. Pete hits Sheamus with the shillelagh. Braun splashes Kaiser into the corner and hits the running power slam for the three count.
Winner: Braun Strowman
Jey bounces in LOCKER ROOM and Priest shows up and mentions their past. Jey says he used to be Priest with no friends and losing your family. Jey says he won't say no to Rhea. Priest says this is for Rhea.
We go to commercial.
Jackie interrupts Pete and asks him if he has anything to say about what he did.
He says that this was a message from an old friend and he says he is off to NXT to take care of Trick Williams.
Jackie asks if she should say it is from Butch and Pete is not happy.
Next week, Pete Dunne, Jey Uso, Braun Strowman, and Ilja Dragunov meet to see who faces Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Title. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn face Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill for the tag titles. We will have an eight person street fight between American Made and the Wyatts.
Match Number Six: Damian Priest and Jey Uso versus Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in a Non Title Match
Priest and Finn start things off and Finn tags in JD and goes to the floor. JD with a chop and Priest is not impressed. Priest kicks JD to the floor and Priest brings Finn into the ring and Finn goes to the floor. JD with kicks to Priest. Priest blocks an Irish whip and hits a jumping back elbow. Priest with forearms and Jey tags in. Jey with an elbow into the corner followed by a kick for a near fall. Finn tags in and they both kick Jey. Finn with boots to Jey and he tags JD back in. JD with a drop toe hold and a leg drop to the back of the head. Finn tags in and Finn with an elbow to the clavicle. Finn with a forearm to the back of the head and punches to Jey. Finn chokes Jey in the ropes and JD kicks Jey when the referee was out of position. Jey sends Finn over the top rope to the floor and hten Jey sends JD to the floor.
Jey with a plancha onto Finn and JD.
We go to commercial.
We are back and JD kicks Jey in the corner and Finn tags in. Jey with punches and he connects with an elbow to JD. Finn runs Jey into the turnbuckles and he connects with many shoulders. JD tags in and he snap mares Jey and Finn with a slingshot stomp. JD tags in and gets a near fall. JD with a Fujiwara arm bar. Jey with punches and JD fires back. Jey with many punches and the spit filled punch is stopped by a head butt. Jey with an enzuigiri and both men are down. Priest and Finn tag in and Priest with punches and he boxes JD's ears and sends him to the mat. Priest with kicks and a discus forearm and another forearm to Finn. Priest with elbows into the corner on both men. Priest sends JD to the floor and Finn with a rollup for a near fall. Finn with Sling Blade but Priest with a boot to Finn. Priest with a clothesline and he sets for South of Heaven. Finn with a victory roll to counter for a near fall. Finn runs into a back elbow and JD drops Priest on the top rope.
Finn with a GTR and he gets a near fall. JD tags in and he kicks Priest. Finn tags back in and Priest runs through a double clothesline and he hits a double clothesline after Jey makes the blind tag and Jey with a cross body onto both men and a super kick to Finn and JD. Jey with a spear to JD and Jey goes up top for a frog splash but Liv Morgan crotches Jey. Finn tags in and he hits sling blad and then sets for the running drop kick and hits it. JD tags in and Finn goes up top and hits Coup de Grace and JD with a moonsault but Priest breaks up the cover.
Rhea Ripley's music plays and she hobbles to the ring and Liv laughs and mocks her, but Rhea is not as hurt as it appears. Rhea hits Liv with the crutch and she chases Liv away.
Finn and JD see Rhea and Priest sends JD to the floor and Priest sets for Razor's Edge but Jey with a spear to Finn and a Razor's Edge to JD. Jey tags in and hits a frog splash for the three count.
Winners: Jey Uso and Damian Priest
