Karl says that was too sweet. He says they saw Nathan and Axiom among the NXT Universe and there was nowhere for them to run or hide. They paid them a brief visit. Luke says they wanted to show what was in store at Battleground. Karl says they won't bother them again once they win the titles.

He says Wes Lee is the greatest North American Champion but that was because you were champion before me. I will surpass you. Tonight, this is his house and in this city, the house always wins.

She is asked about tonight's show and she says there is a lot on her plate now and history will be made.
Ava is asked about the North American Title match for the women. She talks about how the women are the backbone of NXT and everyone who participated in the combine did their best. The women in this match are incredible athletes. She is looking forward to seeing who wins.

Ava says they are both ready for this match and they are both passionate about this match. She says she is excited to see them showcase their talents.

Ava says Ethan was a tough hire and he had a lot of demands. He is a phenomenal athlete and she is looking forward to this match.
