Seth says the time has finally come. Last week, we celebrated 20 years of Randy Orton and that was okay but it got me thinking. We need to celebrate somebody who deserves it, who is underappreciated, and undervalued. We should celebrate a visionary. Tonight is Seth Rollins Appreciation Night.
Seth gets a spotlight.
The crowd hums his entrance music and Seth says it is giving him chills.

The crowd chants for Cody and Seth says funny you should mention that jerk. He tried to steal his spotlight at Wrestlemania. At Backlash, I am going to show the entire world why you can't steal his spotlight because Seth Rollins is the spotlight. Seth tells everyone to shut up and stop chanting for Cody.
Seth says some of you have forgotten how good he is. You get wrapped up in this American Nightmare fantasy and you forget that he is the standard bearer in this industry. Seth says he had his people put together the greatest highlight reel.
Instead of a highlight reel, Cody Rhodes' music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Seth asks Cody why is he sticking his nose where it doesn't belong? It is his appreciation night. If you aren't here to give me flowers, get out of here.
Cody congratulates Seth. He asks Seth what is this all about? The unraveling at the seams? It is like my victory at Wrestlemania is an albatross around your neck that you cannot get rid of. You are in this horrible Johnny Polo get up. Cody says his hypocrisy knows no bounds. I have been a professional and a gentleman. You are going to cross a line before Backlash that you don't want to cross. You are one of the best wrestlers in the last 20 years and that would be true. I could tell you that you are delusional and that would be true.
Seth questions Cody calling him delusional. The American Dream Dusty Rhodes wrestled hundreds if not thousands of times in this arena. Just like you, he was an egomaniac who thought he was larger than life and transcended the business. it does not look like the apple has fallen far from the tree. Dusty was delusional and so are you. Dusty wanted to be the WWE Champion, but he wasn't good enough. As long as he is here, you're not good enough either.
Seth cackles and then he punches Cody.
Cody punches Seth and he hits a Cody Cutter.
Cody throws Seth's jacket into the crowd.
We take a look at the arm wrestling match between Bobby Lashley and Omos from last week.
Match Number Five: Bobby Lashley (with fake birthday cake platform) versus Cedric Alexander
Before they lock up, Omos' music plays and Alexander hits Lashley from behind. Alexander punches Lashley in the corner while Porter gives his commentary. Porter asks Lashley what is he going to do on Sunday when Omos gets his hands on you. Lashley misses a spear when Alexander moves and Alexander with a drop kick to the leg. Alexander with boots to the back while Porter only angers Lashley with his comments. Alexander sends Lashley go the floor. Alexander goes for a suicide dive and Lashley blocks it and sends Alexander into the ringside barrier. Lashley runs Alexander into the ring post. Lashley with a spear and a full nelson to force Alexander to tap out.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
After the match, Omos starts to head towards the ring and Porter stops him and tells him to wait for Sunday.
Liv Morgan is in the back and she is getting ready to be interviewed by Sarah Schreiber.
We are back and we see what happened two weeks ago when Liv was not there to help Rhea Ripley when they lost their tag title match.
Sarah asks why did she ambush Rhea last week. Liv says that she did what Rhea did the week before. Liv says that Rhea is not disappointed in her, but she is disappointed in herself.
We take a look at Finn Balor coming to save AJ Styles from Damian Priest and Edge in a moment that was too sweet.
The announcers run through the card for Backlash on Sunday.
Reggie and R Truth walk in the back and Truth tells Reggie what he still has.
Reggie says he had it all. He had the title and the love of his life.
Truth says he had the love of his life and he let it go through is fingers. Dana has his love now. Truth asks Reggie if he had a pre-nup.
Reggie asks what is a pre-nup.
Truth says that Reggie will need his help since he is a certified Divorce lawyer.
Truth and Reggie walk past a dejected Nikki A.S.H..
Doudrop shows up and asks her if she is done playing around and to take things more seriously.
Nikki says yes.
Match Number Six: Becky Lynch, Sonya Deville, and Rhea Ripley versus Liv Morgan, Asuka, and Bianca Belair
Asuka and Becky start things off and Asuka blocks a kick and misses a kick. Asuka backs Becky into her corner and Sonya tags in. Asuka tags Bianca into the match and Sonya backs into the corner and tags in Rhea. They lock up and Rhea with a waist lock take down. Bianca with a standing switch and a take down. Rhea has a clothesline blocked and Bianca with a suplex but Rhea lands on her feet and she pulls Bianca to the mat and knocks Liv off the apron.
Rhea sends Bianca into the corner and Sonya tags in and kicks Bianca. Sonya with knees and a snap mare. Sonya misses a sliding knee. Bianca with a shoulder tackle. Sonya with an Irish whip and Bianca floats over and hits a drop kick. Liv tags in and Liv with a hip into the corner. Bianca with a slam and Liv gets a near fall. Sonya with a forearm. Becky tags in and Sonya with a clothesline. Becky with an elbow drop for a near fall. Becky with a European uppercut. Liv blocks a European uppercut and gets a near fall with a back slide. Liv with a hip into the corner followed by a knee. Liv with a missile drop kick.for a near fall. Liv swings at Rhea but moves.
Becky misses a forearm and Liv with a suicide dive onto Rhea and Liv punches Rhea. Becky with a baseball slide to Liv and Becky goes up top and hits a leg drop for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rhea works on Liv's back and then slams Liv face first into the mat many times. Liv with slaps to Rhea but Rhea with a forearm and Liv goes down. Rhea tosses Liv into the corner by the hair. Rhea with shoulders to Liv and Becky tags in. Becky mocks Asuka and Liv with a back elbow and knee. Becky goes for a uranage but Liv blocks it. Liv with a DDT and both women are down. Rhea and Bianca tag in and Bianca with a forearm from the apron and then she knocks Sonya off the apron.
Rhea with a head butt and Bianca with a shoulder tackle. Bianca with a marching delayed vertical suplex for a near fall. Bianca goes for a slam but Rhea escapes and runs Bianca into the corner. Rhea with a forearm and she sets for a superplex. Bianca blocks it and sends Rhea to the mat with a forearm. Bianca stops Becky and Rhea with a kick. Sonya tags in and they set for a double superplex and hit it. Sonya gets a near fall when Liv breaks up the cover. Asuka tags in and she kicks Sonya in the leg. Asuka with a shoulder tackle. Asuka with a hip attack into the corner and a round kick to Rhea. Sonya hits Asuka in the back and Asuka blocks a kick and hits a suplex. Asuka with a sliding knee for a near fall.
Asuka goes for the Asuka Lock but Sonya escapes. Liv tags in and Asuka with a drop kick. Asuka sends Sonya off the apron with a hip attack and Liv with a facebuster on the floor. Liv gets a near fall. Asuka takes care of Becky. Rhea attacks Asuka. Liv with a rollup on Sonya but Sonya gets a near fall. Sonya with a knee to Liv for a near fall. Sonya misses a splash into the corner and Liv misses a facebuster. Sonya has her feet on the ropes and the referee does not make the count. Bianca pulls Sonya's feet off the ropes. Sonya argues with the referee and Liv hits ObLIVion for the three count.
Winners: Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, and Asuka
