WWE NXT REPORT: STRONG VERSUS WALTER, THE DUSTY CLASSIC STARTS, NILE VERSUS RAY, AND MORE

We are back and Bron is asked about if it has sunk in about being champion.  He is asked about Santos Escobar and Bron says that everyone is coming for him.

Elektra Lopez shows up and Bron says that he is not interested in what she is saying.  Santos Escobar says that you might be champion but you are not ready to carry this banner.  Santos says the title will be around his waist.  Bron says he will kick Santos' ass right now.

Santos tells Bron he will learn that things are done on his time.

We go to the ring for the funeral of Pete Dunne, hosted by Tony D'Angelo.  

Tony says that Petey was a pig headed man and he didn't listen to anyone so he had to be taught a lesson by Tony D.  The lesson was taught the hard way.  Tony says he was taught to do things by any means necessary.  Tony says this is going to be a closed casket.  You don't want to see Pete after he hit Pete with the crowbar across the head.  We can't mourn forever.  Tony says he is on to bigger and better things.  He beat one of the most decorated champions so it is time that Tony added some more gold to his collection.

Tony says he has his eyes on the North American Championship.  

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams are on the HBalKony.  

Hayes asks Tony what did he say about his title.  Trick says they were boys.

Tony says they were teammates, but not boys.  He has his boys.  Jerry the Hat.  Sammy the Shark.  Benny the Groin and JT the Brick.  It is business.

Trick says they know about all of his boys and they all look like Vic Joseph.

Carmelo says this title is his business and you better keep it out of your mouth.  The next memorial service will be yours and it will be a closed casket too.

Cameron Grimes comes out.and he tells Tony he will have to wait at the back of the line.  Last week, I came up to Melo and looked you in the eyes and I told you I was coming for that North American Chamiponship.  I didn't hear back from you.

Carmelo says you two go one on one and maybe the winner gets a shot at his title.

Cameron says he will fight any of you. D'Angelo tries to hit Grimes but Grimes moves and he hits Tony with the poster of Dunne.

Josh tells Brooks it isn't fun to lose, but men are made by overcoming obstacles.  They need to get their asses back to work.

Kacy and Kayden show up and tell them to stop worrying but they can go get drinks now.  They say that you can work hard tomorrow but they can party hard tonight.

Wendy is on top of the lockers and she says that they like you.

Brooks tries to explain how he really feels.  

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon video package.  They talk about their accomplishments.  Leon says they are two badass women.  They come from different countries and come from different backgrounds but they both want tag gold.

McKenzie asks Yulisa and Valentina if they are looking forward to competing in the Dusty Classic.

Dakota Kai shows up and she says she has some advise.  Nothing divides friendship like success.  Leon and Feroz want to know why Kai is saying this.  Kai makes a challenge and they accept.

Match Number Four:  Kay Lee Ray versus Ivy Nile (with Malcolm Bivens)

They lock up and Ray backs Nile into the corner and Ray with a take down.  Ray with a waist lock and Nile with a back elbow and rollup into a top wrist lock.  Ray with chops and she gets a near fall.  Nile blocks a suplex and Nile with forearms.  Nile with a running thrust kick in the corner followed by an enzuigiri for a near fall.  Nile with a snap mare and head scissors.  Ray tries to escape but Nile keeps Ray on the mat.  Ray gets to her feet and Nile keeps Ray down but Ray with a cartwheel to escape.  Ray with clotheslines.  Ray with a gourdbuster for a near fall.  Nile with a single leg trip and a kick into a leg DDT for a near fall.  Nile gets Ray up on her shoulders but Ray escapes and she hits a super kick.

Ray goes for a KLR Bomb but Mandy Rose gets on the apron and Ray swings at her.  Nile counters a KLR bomb into a sunset flip for the three count.

Winner:  Ivy Nile

After the match, Rose attacks Ray and she punches Ray.  Ray starts to go after Rose and Dolin and Jayne come out and give Ray a snap mare followed by a double super kick.  Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta pull Rose out of the ring and they go after Jayne and Doline.  Pirotta with snake eyes to Jayne and Ray with a super kick.

We go to the medical room and Odyssey Jones is down and Harland throws something aside and then he walks out with Joe Gacy, who is smiling.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sarray says that things did not go as planned in her first year in NXT.  She says she returned to Japan and she was ready to quit but she found a necklace from her grandmother.  She told her not to give up under any circumstances.  She says the necklace reminds her who she is.  She says she is the Warrior of the Sun in the ring and she will return to America with a new passion and energy.

Match Number Five:  Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza (with Elektra Lopez and Santos Escobar) versus Malik Blade and Edris Enofe in a Dusty Classic First Round Match

Blade and Wilde start things off and Wilde sends Blade into the ropes.  Wilde with a wrist lock.  Enofe tags in and Blade with a clothesline.  Enofe with a moonsault for a near fall.  Enofe goes to the apron and he connects with a foeram and hits a bulldog for a near fall.  Mendoza tags in and they hit a double spinebuster and make a wish.  Mendoza gets a near fall.  Mendoza misses a splash and Mendoza stops Enofe from making the tag.  Enofe escapes a suplex attempt and Blade tags in and connects with forearms.  Blade with a back heel kick.  Escobar trips Blade and Santos is sent to the back.  Enofe pulls down the ropes while Wilde goes off the ropes and falls to the floor while Escobar is on the apron.  

Breakker pulls Escobar off the apron and carries him away.  Blade with a rollup for the three count.

Winners:  Malik Blade and Edris Enofe (Advance to face winner of MSK versus Jacket Time)

After the match Escobar yells at Breakker.

Malcolm Bivens says that Diamond Mine is 2 and 0 tonight.  They will be three for three when Roderick Strong wipes the mat with the leader of Imperium.  WALTER, you put your hands on me.  You think the mat is sacred, but it is a revenue generator for us to get paid so we can get that deluxe apartment in the sky.  Tonight, the mat belongs to Roderick Strong and Diamond Mine.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Solo Sikoa tells Boa he would face him, but you took it to another level with that fireball.  You burned half my face.  You aren't the only one who can bring up their past.  Next week, I don't care where it goes, bring your battle paint because I got mine.  Next week, we go to war.

Match Number Six:  Dakota Kai versus Yulisa Leon (with Valentina Feroz)

They lock up and Kai backs Leon into the corner and gives a clean break.  Leon with a rollup for a near fall.  Leon is sent face first into the turnbuckles and Kai with forearms.  Kai with a forearm to the back and a kick to the back.  Kai gets a near fall.  Kai with kicks in the corner followed by forearms.  Kai with a snap mare and she gets a near fall.  Kai with a hard Irish whip and a running boot to the face for a near fall.  Leon with forearms but Kai with a bicycle kick to the head and Leon falls to the floor.  Feroz goes after Kai and Kai misses a kick.  Leon with a kick and forearms in the ring.  Leon with a gutwrench suplex.  Leon with a fallaway slam and bridge for a near fall.

Kai with a scorpion kick and running boot into the corner for the three count.

Winner:  Dakota Kai

After the match, Kai attacks Feroz and tries for the Yakuza Kick but Leon pulls Feroz out of the ring.

Raquel Gonzalez is in the back with McKenzie.  She asks Raquel what is next for her.

Raquel says she could complain about how she wasn't the one pinned at New Year's Evil.  She says she is Big Mami Cool.  She does not make excuses.  She is still coming after Mandy and her title.  

Cora Jade shows up and says she is also coming after the title.  She suggests they be a team for the Dusty Classic.  

Raquel says Cora is the reason she is not champion and she tells Cora thanks, but no thanks.

Cora says she will convince Raquel.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Malik and Edris talk about shocking the world.

Bron Breakker shows up and he says he didn't help them win, it was all them.  He wishes them luck.

Next week, Boa will face Solo Sikoa in a No DQ Falls Count Anywhere Match.  Cameron Grimes faces Tony D'Angelo in a Number One Contender Match for the North American Championship.  We will see Kay Lee Ray, Indi Hartwell, and Persia Pirotta versus Toxic Attraction.  Ollie Jayy will perform.

Match Number Seven:  WALTER versus Roderick Strong (with Malcolm Bivens)

They lock up and WALTER tosses Strong to the mat.  Strong goes for the leg but WALTER blocks Strong and goes for the leg.  WALTER backs Strong against the ropes.  They lock up and WALTER with a wrist lock take down.  WALTER misses a chop and he stops a Strong chop before it makes contact.  Strong with a side head lock and WALTER tries to power out of the hold but Strong maintains the side head lock.  Strong with forearms and a chop but WALTER chops Strong to the mat.  WALTER with a boot to the chest.  WALTER kicks Strong in the chest and snap mares Strong and works on the neck.  Strong with a punch and forearms.  WALTER with a boot to the head.

WALTER chokes Strong in the ropes and then WALTER grabs Bivens but Strong with a chop block and a drop kick that sends WALTER to the floor.  Strong goes for a drop kick through the ropes but WALTER catches Strong and drops him on the apron.  WALTER with a chop.  They return to the ring and WALTER with a forearm to the back.  WALTER with chops and a slam.  WALTER with a rear chin lock with the arm trapped.  WALTER with a forearm to the back and a rear chin lock.  WALTER stretches Strong.  Strong with kicks but WALTER with a knee to the midsection.  Strong with a kick and he hits a missile drop kick to the back.

Strong with a clothesline in the corner followed by a chops and forearms.  Strong goes for the Olympic Slam but WALTER blocks it.  WALTER with a sleeper but Strong powers out of it.  Strong kicks WALTER from the mat.  Strong with running forearms to WALTER against the ropes.  WALTER is sent to the apron and Strong with a few forearms but Strong with a clothesline.  WALTER goes up top and Strong stops him.  Strong sets for a superplex and WALTER with forearms and chops to send Strong to the mat.  Strong with a drop kick to the head and WALTER is staggered on the turnbuckles.  Strong goes back up and hits a superplex.  Strong gets a near fall.

Strong with forearms and kicks.  Strong with running forearms and a flying boot for a near fall.  Strong sets for the Strong Hold but WALTER kicks him away.  WALTER with a chop and he goes for a power bomb but Strong blocks it.  WALTER prevents Strong from hitting a Gibson Driver and WALTER with an Air Raid Crash and power bomb for the three count.

Winner:  WALTER

After the match, WALTER takes the mic and he says that the winner of the match is GUNTHER.

Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel attack Strong and the Creeds make their way to the ring.  All six men brawl in the ring as we go to credits.
