Chris Wilde vs. Micah Taylor vs. King Aleki.
If you are put through a table, you are eliminated.
Wilde and Aleki trapped Taylor between them, hitting headbutt after headbutt. Taylor powdered out to the floor. Aleki tossed Wilde to the floor. They all battled around ringside and all the way to the bar. Wilde had the bartender give him some drinks. That was funny. Wilde led a toast and they kept brawling after drinking. They battled back to the ring, where Taylor worked over Wilde with right hands and placed him on the top.
Wilde fought off Taylor with headbutts, sending him to the mat below. He lifted him up for a gut wrench suplex, dancing while holding him. Aleki set up a table. He set it up. They battled to the floor. Aleki shoved a pineapple down the back of Wilde's tights with the idea it was shoved you know where. Taylor whipped Aleki into Wilde, presumably shoving it deeper. Poor Wilde was then hit with an atomic drop. They all battled on the floor. Wilde was suplexed through a table on the floor and has been eliminated.
Aleki and Micah Taylor continue on, brawling through the building. They battled atop the bar, until Aleki nailed a headbutt on Taylor, who took a bump backwards through the table.
Your winner, Aleki!
This was fun and you could tell the fans live loved this, but it was lit too dark in places to see what was going on.
The Nasty Gentlemen with YT Jones vs. Bryson Axl & The World Famous Cheeseburger
Cheeseburger was super over. He and Axl were in complete control early with double-team maneuvers, scoring some early near falls. Axl locked on an abdominal stretch. Cheeseburger helped him, pulling to add the momentum. A bunch of fans ran over to help pulling, building a chain. The referee argued with Cheeseburger, allowing The Gentlemen to beat down Axl and nailed a double hiptoss. They nailed a series of splashes on Axl, scoring near falls. Brody locked on a trapezious nerve hold, then began drilling Axl in the back with knee strikes. He tried to fight back but was caught with a boot to the face as he rebounded.
The Nasty Gentlemen kept beating him down. CB tried to get in the ring but was held back by the referee, only allowing further damage. Axl finally fought off The Nasty Gentlemen, crawled to his corner and made the tag to CB. CB unloaded with chops and forearms on each. They attempted a double clothesline but he cartwheels through that and nailed a big dropkick. YT Jones got on the apron but CB backed him down. Axl chased him into the ring into the waiting arms of CB but Brody went to nail CB, who ducked YT drilled his own manager. CB nailed a sideslam and a palm thrust for the pin.
Your winners, Bryson Axl & The World Famous Cheeseburger!
Fun tag match.
Fallah Bahh vs. Vargas
They rightfully played this up as two big boys slugging it out. They each tried to headbutt the other but they couldn't really so much damage. They kept firing back and forth with chops and shots but they would absorb them and shrug them off. Vargas finally gained control and worked over Bahh, beating him down. The crowd got into screaming "Bahh" and "NO NO NO."
Bahh finally made a comeback and nailed a belly to belly suplex for a close two count. Bahh nailed a splash in the corner, then a Samoan Drop for a two count. Vargas fired back with a big spinebuster and climbed to the top rope. He nailed a splash off the ropes and covered Bahh, scoring the three count.
Your winner, Vargas!
They played this up like a huge upset. This was as entertaining as it was going to get for this type of back and forth big man bout.
The Amazing Grayons vs. Tyler Payne & LSG.
Payne and Tommy started out. The Graysons spent some playing games. LSG tagged in. After stalling, LSG and JP Grayson did some nice mat wrestling and used some legit amateur takedowns on each other. LSG used a purple nurple to toss Grayson. Tommy Grayson nailed LSG. He nailed a flip dive to the outside on LSG. Payne nailed one on JP Grayson.
The Graysons were pummeled on the floor. LSG and Payne ran around the ring and came back, executing kicks on each Grayson at the same time. The crowd enjoyed that one. They brawled with the Graysons around the building. Back in the ring, they continued the assault on the Graysons until Tommy tripped Payne, allowing JP to gain control. They worked over Payne for a long time, getting heat on him with double team maneuvers. Payne fired back and made the hot tag to LSG. He and Tommy chopped and battled back and forth with each other. LSG nailed a diving clothesline and a stunner variation but JP Grayson broke it up.
LSG was dumped to the floor. Now it was LSG's turn to be worked over and double-teamed in the corner. Grayson nailed a slingshot elbowdrop for a two count. He locked on a single-leg Boston Crab. LSG kicked him off and was about to make the hot tag but the other Grayson knocked him off the apron to the floor. So, the beatings continued on LSG.
LSG tried to fight from behind and went for a suplex but was drilled. He finally made the tag out to Payne, who showed some nice fire. Payne smashed JP into the buckles, then drilled Tommy. Payne nailed a springboard swanton, taking out the two brothers. He nailed the Paynekiller on Tommy but JP broke up the pinfall. The Grayons double teamed Payne with a Samoan Drop/neckbreaker combination but LSG dove in and broke up the pin. LSG peppered them both with forearms but they stopped him. He ducked a double clothesline and nailed a high cross bodyblock in them both.
The Graysons came back to both superkick LSG, then double-teamed Payne with a cutter out of a Gori Guerrero Especial that looked cool as hell.
Your winners, The Amazing Graysons!
Another good, hard fought tag match. There's been a lot of 1980s level babyface vs. heel psychology all over this show and it feels really refreshing to watch that on a show up and down the card.
WrestlePro Gold Interim Champion Deonn Rusmann vs. Bobby Wayward
They started out with some really nice back and forth wrestling and reversals. Wayward backed off and claimed Rusman was too greased up. That's an old school heel tactic that we haven't seen in a long time. Wayward stalled and returned to the ring. They locked up again and he backed Rusman into the corner and drilled him. Rusman lost his cool and beat down Wayward in the corner.
They locked up again with Wayward grabbing a side headlock, working over the champion. He grabbed an armwringer and then went for a waitlock takedown. Rusman reversed and rode him to the mat. Wayward gained control and spent a lot of time controlling Rusman on the mat, scoring several near falls. Wayward looked damn good. Rusman, who has a great innate charima, kept fighting back and looked good. He fought back and put the boots to Wayward.
Rusman nailed a running splash in the corner and dropped a big kneedrop. Rusman nailed a twisting splash for a two count. Wayward cut him and scored a series of near falls. Wayward began breaking him down with European uppercuts and a back elbow for another two count. Wayward stalked and worked over Rusman for a long time, setting the right stage for the champ's comeback. Wayward survived and came back to clench on a sleeper, climbing on Rusman's back. Rusman drilled himself backwards several times into the buckles. Wayward broke free and nailed a big German suplex. Rusman grabbed a leg during a kick attempt and scored with a series of clotheslines. He nailed a running lariat and slammed Wayward with Tour of the Islands.
Rusman locked on a submission but Wayward was able to make it to the ropes. Rusman psyched himself up and went for a spear but Wayward moved and the referee was wiped out. Rusman kept cleaning house on Wayward. Wayward grabbed him but Rusman reversed it and nailed a full nelson slam. He speared Wayward but there was no referee. The referee finally recovered but Wayward kicked up at the last second.
Wayward went to the floor. Rusman dove into the crowd to take him out. They brawled through the bar. Wayward caught Rusman and nailed him with a Jay-Driller on the floor. Wayqard dragged the unconscious champion back into the ring and covered him but Rusman kicked up at the last second. They battled to the corner where Wayward drilled him with a series of elbows and nailed a superplex. Rusman kicked up. He nailed Wayward with a DVDR but Wayward kicked up at the last second.
Rusman charged but was nailed a roundhouse kick. Rusman, on sheer instinct alone, speared Wayward and landed atop him, both pretty much unconscious. The referee counted three.
Your winner and still Champion, Deonn Rusman.
This was 20 minutes plus and nothing short of excellent. Well worth seeking out.
A well done show overall. When you think about it, outside of Japan, I don't think any promotion has undertaken any sort of tour but Wrestlepro has done that and thus far, put on three very entertaining live events for the fans in attendance.
