Match Number Five: AJ Styles (with Jordan) versus Matt Riddle versus Keith Lee in a Sudden Death Triple Threat Match to Determine the Person Who Will Face the WWE Champion at TLC Match
AJ goes to the floor and pulls Riddle to the floor. Riddle sends AJ into the ringside barrier. Lee knocks Riddle and Styles off the apron and then he teases a dive but AJ and Riddle both move. AJ is being chased by Lee until they get back into the ring. Styles kicks Lee and Riddle punches and kicks Styles. Riddle with forearms and Styles with a forearm to the throat. Lee grabs Riddle and Styles by the throat and then he leap frogs both men. Riddle kicks Styles and Lee with a cross body to Riddle for a near fall. Lee with a forearm to Riddle.
Lee with punches to Riddle and he kicks AJ. Lee sends AJ into the corner as well and then Lee with a back body drop to AJ. Lee with a clothesline into the corner on Riddle. Riddle with chops but Lee with a knee and forearm to the back. Lee stands on Riddle's hand. Riddle with punches and forearms to Lee but Lee with a forearm. AJ continues to take some time on the floor. Lee with a forearm. Riddle kicks Lee in the back and Lee goes to the apron. Lee sends Riddle into the turnbuckles but Riddle kicks Lee in the leg. AJ is pushed into Jordan and Jordan sends AJ to the apron. AJ with a knee to Lee. Riddle takes care of AJ and then hits a twisting Asai Moonsault onto Lee and Styles as we go to commercial.
We are back and Riddle kicks Lee and Styles and then hits a few back sentons on Lee for a near fall. Riddle with a gutwrench suplex to Styles. Styles kicks Riddle away on a back senton attempt. Lee sends Styles into the turnbuckles and then AJ is Irish whipped to the floor and hits the ring post. Lee with a biel to Riddle followed by a splash into the corner. Lee with another biel to Riddle. Riddle with forearms but Lee with a head butt. Lee sets for the Spirit Bomb but Riddle counters into a triangle. Lee swings Riddle into Styles to knock him down. Lee picks up Riddle but Riddle adds more pressure to the triangle. Riddle with a kick and then he hits running forearms to Lee and Styles.
Riddle with an exploder to Styles and Lee with a POUNCE to Riddle for a near fall. Styles with kicks and a back fist followed by an enzuigiri and a flying forearm for a near fall on Lee. AJ goes up top and Lee with a jumping head butt to Styles. Lee sets for a superplex and Riddle bounces off Lee. Riddle goes for a power bomb but Riddle cannot hold Lee up. Lee with a power bomb and AJ with a cross body on Lee and Lee kicks out and sends Styles onto Riddle for a near fall. Riddle kicks Lee and Styles with kicks to Riddle. Riddle with a Pele Kick and German suplex for a near fall. Lee with a waist lock and he tosses Riddle over his head and Riddle lands on his feet.
Riddle with kicks and Lee with Grizzly Magnum. Riddle with jumping knees to Lee. AJ with a Phenomenal Forearm to Riddle for the three count.
Winner: AJ Styles
Miz and John Morrison are ambushed by Charly Caruso and she wants them to see what happened earlier tonight.
Charly asks them if they have a new strategy for their match. Miz says they set their sights on Randy Orton and now Drew has a future opponent in AJ Styles. He has a tag partner he cannot trust. Miz says he also has the briefcase.
Charly says Miz is just stating facts and does not have a plan. Miz and Morrison leave.
Reckoning says she took her anger out on Dana Brooke, but then you touch Ali. We don't play games, when we have a problem, we annihilate them.
Match Number Six: Dana Brooke versus Reckoning (with Mustafa Ali)
Reckoning misses a boot in the corner and Dana with punches and kicks. Dana with an Irish whip but Reckoning with an Irish whip. Reckoning with chops and punches in the corner. Reckoning with a snap mare and kick to the back. Reckoning with a rear chin lock and Dana with elbows. Reckoning runs into a boot and elbow. Dana with clotheslines. Dana with a handspring elbow into the corner. Ali gets on the apron and distracts Dana but Reckoning misses a boot and Dana gets the three count with a rollup.
Winner: Dana Brooke
After the match, Ali yells at Reckoning and says there is no failure in Retribution.
AJ Styles is in the back and Miz and John Morrison stop by and Morrison has a peach pie for him. AJ stays he knows that they want his help with Drew. AJ says he will help them. Miz wants to know why would AJ help them.
AJ says it would be easier to beat Miz than Drew McIntyre. AJ tells the champ he will see him out there.
We take a look back at Drew's victory over Randy Orton to become the WWE Champion.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Matt Riddle is in the back and MVP asks Matt what happened, bro. Riddle says losing sucks, but he has some free time to hear his business ideas. Matt talks about Lawn Bros and he says your house will be weedless. He then talks about BroNuts.
MVP says Riddle's ideas are ridiculous and he is glad that Matt lost. MVP pushes Riddle and Riddle gets up but Bobby Lashley attacks Riddle from behind.
Keith Lee and Sheamus are in the back and Keith says some of the fellas have been talking about Sheamus turning on his friend. Sheamus tells Keith it is none of his business.
Charly Caruso is in the ring and she brings out Drew McIntyre.
Charly asks Drew to talk about his busy last two weeks since he beat Randy Orton through his match against Roman Reigns at Survivor Series.
Drew says it feels good to be standing here as WWE Champion. You have to be knocked on your ass sometimes to realize where you belong. I told Randy I would Claymore his head off and reclaim his title and he did that. He said he would humble Roman Reigns and knock him off his pedestal. Drew says that is what he did. You can tell a lot about a man by looking in his eyes. Roman was confident at the start of the match if you looked in his eyes. That confidence turned into frustration.
Then Jey Uso interfered and Roman took advantage to win the battle. You know what I am about and our paths will cross again. You won the battle, but I will win the war.
That is the past and we are looking forward to TLC.
Charly asks about Miz cashing in.
Drew says he has no beef with AJ and the match will be Phenomenal. He tells Miz the briefcase is the only thing keeping him relevant. Keep the briefcase.
We go to commercial.
We are back and AJ Styles is at the announce table on commentary.
Match Number Seven: Drew McIntyre and Sheamus versus Miz and John Morrison
Sheamus attacks Miz as the bell rings and hits a fallaway slam. Sheamus with a clothesline and he sends Miz into the corner to tag in Morrison. Morrison teases a spinning heel kick but misses. Sheamus with a clothesline and kicks in the corner. Drew tags in and Morrison with a side head lock. Drew with a shoulder tackle and clothesline. Sheamus tags in and connects with forearms to Morrison. Miz tries to break it up and Miz eats a series of forearms. Sheamus has some words for AJ and AJ gets up from the announce table and then Sheamus punches Miz when Miz tries to attack him.
Sheamus turns around and sees Jordan. Sheamus is drop kicked onto the announce table as we go to commercial.
We are back and Sheamus kicks Morrison but Morrison kicks back. Miz tags in and hits a DDT for a near fall. Miz with knees to the back and a reverse chin lock. Morrison tags in and he connects with a knee and Miz with a boot. Morrison with a shooting star press for a near fall. Morrison with a kick and he applies a body scissors but Sheamus tries to get to his corner. Sheamus with elbows and Morrison with a punch. Morrison misses a kick and Sheamus with a knee.
Miz and Drew tag in and Drew with clotheslines and overhead belly-to-belly suplexes. Drew with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Morrison when he tries to interfere. Drew with a neck breaker to Miz. Sheamus wants to tag in and Sheamus is pulled off the apron by Morrison. Sheamus is sent over the ringside barrier. AJ with a Phenomenal Forearm and the referee calls for the bell.
Winners: Sheamus and Drew McINtyre (by disqualfiication)
After the match, Morrison with Starship Pain and Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale. AJ is handed the briefcase by Jordan. Miz argues with AJ about caashing in. Miz gives the briefcase to the referee and Drew sends Morrison over the top rope to the floor. Drew with a Claymore to Miz and then Drew looks at AJ.
AJ goes over the top rope on his own, into Jordan's waiting arms.
