Time for the Final Farewell!
In the house are Shane McMahon, Big Show, JBL, Jeff Hardy, The Godfather, Mick Foley. The Godwins, Kevin Nash, Rikishi, Booker T, Savio Vega, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Triple H and Kane. Kane was in gimmick and stayed away from everyone.
They aired a great video set to Metallica of Undertaker's career with comments from Steve Austin, Shane McMahon, John Cena, Triple H and more.
When we returned, Vince McMahon was in the ring and everyone else had disappeared. He praised Undertaker for enduring 30 years and striking fear and terror in everyone he faced while entertaining everyone in WWF and WWE currently. He said its the end of an era that will never be duplicated. He looked to be tearing up as he said that tonight, we say goodbyes. He said they say nothing lasts forever, but they are wrong, because the legacy of the Undertaker lives on eternally. He introduced The Undertaker.
LOTS of pyro, lightning, smoke and other effects. Finally, The Undertaker makes a slow stroll to the ring, dressed in complete gimmick. They had a platform to raise him to the ring.
He stood in the ring for a long time as the virtual fans chanting, taking it all in. Finally he spoke
"For 30 long years, I made that slow walk to the ring and have laid people to rest time and time again and now, my time has come."
The crowd chanted, "Thank you Taker."
"My time has come to let the Undertaker rest in peace."
The crowd again chanted "Thank you Taker."
Taker tossed the mic out of the ring and looked off into the distance. He got down on his knee for his trademarl stance and you heard Paul Bearer's voice as a still image hologram of him appeared in the ring. Undertaker bowed his head in respect to Bearer. The crowd chanted for Undertaker. The building went dark with the exception of a dark spotlight on Undertaker. The bells began to toll.
When they ended, he stood up again and then his theme music began again. He gave his old throat slashing mannerism as lightning and thunder flashed, then left the ring. He slowly strolled back up the aisle. He made it to the entrance stage and did his famous look back towards the audience, raising his fist in the air.
They went off the air with Undertaker strolling off camera, returning backstage.
