WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: THE MOST SERENE CONTRACT SIGNING, WHO ELSE MADE THE SURVIVOR SERIES TEAM, WHY SO MANY RAW TALENTS ON TONIGHT'S SHOW?

By Richard Trionfo on 2020-11-20 21:58:00

We are back and Adam Pearce and Drew McIntyre sit around Roman's table cousin to wait for Roman Reigns to come to the ring.

Roman's music plays and he finally comes to the ring with Paul Heyman.

Pearce starts to sit down and Roman looks at Adam and Adam realizes that Roman sits at the head of the table.

Adam says he is here to get their signatures on the contract to make this match official for Sunday.

Roman says he knew that Drew could do it, but Paul not so much.  Roman says he has been in Drew's shoes.  All of these lessons he has learned.  What I am going to tell you, Paul told me years ago.  You are the right guy in the right place at the wrong time.

Drew says you are trying to get in my head and piss me off.  I am not going to flip the table and punch you.  I have my match with you.  I can talk about how you do business or how you feel about me.  Drew says he won the title, not for you, but for me.  You said be here today to sign the contract and that is what I am going to do.  Drew signs the contract and he tells Roman it is his turn and his show and his move.

Drew tells Roman to please underestimate him.  Use these last two days of peace to prepare for war.

Roman takes the pen but Paul throws the pen away and gives Roman another pen.  Roman says Drew is going to give him advice.  Roman says the Special Counsel advises the Tribal Chief.  This is my show.  I give you advice.  I am going to give you one last lesson under the learning tree.  At Survivor Series, you are not going to like it or understand the brutal truth.  You are a secondary title holder.  You are a prop and a stand in.  You are the one who gets the title when Roman is busy.  That is who you are.  The whole world knows who I am.  I am going to tell you one more time.  I am THE Champion.  I am the face of WWE.  I am your tribal chief and I am the head of the table.  That is who I am.  One day, years from now, you will finally have the opportunity to be the man.  You will finally have the opportunity to be the face of this company and be champion.  You are going to look back at these nights and thank me.

You are going to look in the mirror and see the man you thought you would be.  You will love me for these lessons I have taught you and I will love you right back.  Because you will always be my favorite number two.  Roman signs the contract and gets up as Paul hands him his title belt.
