WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: OWENS AND ZAYN IN ACTION, ZIGGLER VERSUS ROODE, PULP FASHION, SIX WOMAN TAG MATCH, DANIEL BRYAN RETURNS TO WASHINGTON

We are back with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in the woods.  They turn around and Rowan takes off his mask.  Luke and Erick say the darkness of destruction always prevails over the futility of light.  Wherever they go, annihilation follows.  They are the Bludgeon Brothers and they destroy the camera.

We see footage of Jinder Mahal doing promotional work in India last week.

The Singhs introduce The WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and they make their way to the ring.

Jinder says there are only some things you get to experience when you are the Modern Day Maharaja.  The first Indian WWE champion.  This past week, he took this title to the homeland and he was given a true hero's welcome.  Five star hotels and the finest restaurants.  A young boy came up to him and asked him what is next.  Jinder asked what did he mean.  The boy said you have beaten Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura many times and you have beaten everyone on the Smackdown roster.  You do not have the same respect in America that you have in India.

Jinder says he must make a challenge.  Jinder says he must beat a man who you think is unbeatable.  Jinder says he must beat the most dominant force in the WWE.  Jinder says at Survivor Series, he is challenging The Beast.  He is challenging Brock Lesnar.

Jinder says he wants everyone to kiss his feet and bow down to him after he defeats Brock Lesnar.

AJ Styles interrupts and he makes his way to the ring.

AJ says he did not hear Jinder correctly.

Jinder asks why is AJ out here and he says AJ heard correct.  At Survivor Series, he challenges Brock Lesnar.

AJ says he doesn't care about that.  He thought he heard Jinder say he beat every worthy opponent on Smackdown and he has not beaten AJ Styles.

Jinder says that there is no worthy competition on Smackdown.  He calls AJ a loser and Jinder says he is a winner.  He is WWE Champion.  

AJ asks if he is a loser, does JInder have a problem facing him for the WWE Championship? 

Jinder says people in his country do not think that AJ is worthy to step in the same ring as him.

AJ says they are not in Jinder's country.

Jinder says that AJ should be in the back of the line.

Jinder says that AJ is delusional, just like all of the people.  To challenge him for the title is an absolute joke.  Jinder asks AJ if he knows who he is. 

Styles with forearms to Mahal and then he hits a Pele kick on Mahal.  The Singhs pull Mahal to safety.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Jinder Mahal demands action for AJ Styles disrespecting him.  Daniel wants to know what Jinder will do.  Jinder says next week Sunil will face AJ in Jinder's honor.

Daniel says that is a Phenomenal Idea.

Match Number Three:  Bobby Roode versus Dolph Ziggler

Ziggler with kicks and punches to Roode but Roode with a clothesline.  Ziggler gets to the floor and Roode follows.  Ziggler runs Roode into the apron and then he hits a drop kick.

We go to split screen.

Ziggler sends Roode back into the ring.  Ziggler kicks Roode in the corner and chokes him.  Ziggler with a snap mare and leaping elbow drop for a near fall.  Ziggler with a reverse chin lock.  Roode with punches but Ziggler with a sleeper.  Roode catapults Ziggler into the ring post.  Roode punches Ziggler and follows with a series of clotheslines.  Ziggler with a kick but Roode with a uranage for a near fall.  Roode with a running clothesline into the corner and then he comes off the turnbuckles but lands on his feet.  Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall.  Roode tries for the Glorious DDT but Ziggler escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup.

Roode charges at Ziggler and Ziggler moves and Roode hits the turnbuckles.  Ziggler with a rollup and a handful of tights for the three count.

Winner:  Dolph Ziggler

We go to commercial.

We are back with talk of Jinder Mahal's challenge to Brock Lesnar.  Monday night, Brock will be on Raw to respond.

Aiden English is in the back and he sings through the halls.  Aiden asks a few people on their phones if they would be on their phones on the opening act of Don Giovanni.  He asks if he is not their musical taste, what is it.

The New Day emerge and the two people dance with The New Day.  The New Day make fun of Aiden but that brings out Rusev.  Rusev says the only thing that matters now is that it is Rusev Day.

Xavier says that means it is time to celebrate and he plays Rusev's entrance music as they go away.

Aiden starts to sing but Rusev says it is not time to sing.

Match Number Four:  Shinsuke Nakamura and Randy Orton versus Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn

Nakamura and Zayn start things off and they lock up.  Zayn with a wrist lock and Nakamura with a reversal.  Zayn with a reversal and he leaps over Nakamura and takes Shinsuke down with an arm drag into an arm bar.  Nakamura backs Zayn into the ropes and Nakamura leans onto Zayn's chest and he wants Zayn to come at him.  Nakamura with a knee and Zayn blocks a kick but Nakamura with a spinning heel kick.  Nakamura with kicks in the corner and a front face lock.  Orton tags in and Zayn gets out of the corner.

Owens tags in and Orton with punches and European uppercut.  Orton with an Irish whip but Owens gets a boot up.  Orton goes for an RKO but Owens escapes and goes to the floor.  Zayn gets in the way and Orton punches Zayn.  Owens stops Orton and sends him into the ring post as well as a fallaway slam into the ringside barrier as we go to commercial.

We are back and Nakamura with a running knee into the corner and he puts Owens on the turnbuckles.  Zayn pulls Owens off the turnbuckles and Owens clips Nakamura and works on the knee.  Owens with a splash onto the leg.  Zayn tags in and works on the leg.  Zayn with a step over toe hold and Owens tags in.  Owens kicks Nakamura.   Owens with a kick to the hamstring.  Owens with a back senton for a near fall.  Owens with a reverse chin lock.  Nakamura with punches but Owens with kicks to the knee to stop Nakamura.  Owens with an Irish whip but he misses a splash into the corner.  Owens is put on the turnbuckles and Nakamura with a knee to the midsection.

Owens and Zayn tag in.  Orton with two clotheslines and he ducks a clothesline from Zayn.  Zayn holds on to the ropes and Orton misses the power slam.  Orton with a t-bone suplex to Zayn and then he hits a backdrop driver to Owens on the ringside barrier.  Zayn with a baseball slide to Orton and he sets for a suicide dive but Orton with a punch.  Orton tries for a DDT off the apron but Orton is pushed away.  Orton with a backdrop driver onto the announce table.

Orton's cover is broken up by Owens.  Nakamura sends Owens to the floor.  Zayn charges at Orton and Orton with a power slam for a near fall.  Owens sends Nakamura into the ring steps and when the referee was dealing with Owens, Zayn with a low blow followed by a Helluva Kick for the three count.

Winners:  Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens

Owens and Zayn go to the back after their victory, leaving Orton and Nakamura in the ring.

Daniel Bryan is in the gorilla position and Owens says they have their own welcoming committe.  Sami says they beat the top two guys tonight.  What is next for them?  A handicap match?  A Daniel Bryan on a Pole Match?

Daniel says next week isn't up to him, it is up to Shane McMahon.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn come back out and they say they are the best and that they do what they say they will do.  They are Smackdown and there is nothing that you or anyone in the back can do about it.  Kevin says that Sami Zayn is his best friend.  He tells Sami to hug him and hold him tight.

We go to credits.
