When Cena came back for a second, Cole called him an "old war horse". Reigns got a two and then Booker said he may be at the ened of the road. Uh oh, that scares me.
Cena came back with that body attack thing he does, then You Can't See Me, but Reigns hit a Samoan Drop. Booker chided Cena for screwing around with the hand wave. Booker was right. Reigns just slugged him ten times when I wrote that but John came back and did the wave quick. He didn't get the FU though.
Roman is working heelish with his facials and went for the punch but Cena got the STF instead. But Roman powered up and hit the sit out powerbomb for a two!
Eps said that the crowd is now reacting more positively for Cena. Just then Cena catches Roman and hits the AA, but two count only. The announcers are selling that this is about respect. It's a good sales pitch.
Cena went up for the leg drop from the top but Roman caught him and got a two. Roman is up for Superman. BOOM. Two and a half. This has gotten very good. Cena has found his groove.
Roman is up. He is waiting to nail him again. But, Cena sidesteps him and Roman nails the post, with help from John. Cena went for an AA off of the second rope and got it. Two and half. It's great, the people that hate both of these guys are totally into this now. Makes a smart person wonder why they waste so much time on the hate.
The fans are chanting one more time. They hated you five minutes ago but now.....instead John went to the floor and went after one of the announce desks. Make that two of them. He laid Roman on the middle one and then set up for the AA but Roman powered out and speared him through the other one. They sold it for a while, as they should have. Roman took him back in the ring, but only got a two count.
Reigns thought he was ready for a Superman but ran into an AA. Cena powered him right up and hit another. Two count only! The fans are going nuts for this. There is a reason why the boys work the marks, and this is it. This match is great.
John has the what the hell do I do next look on his face.
Roman knew what to do, Superman Punch and Spear, 1-2-3. This was a great, great match. These guys worked their asses off and delivered, big time. People can boo them all that they want. I won't do it. I appreciate them and thank them for that match, it was outstanding. This show has been outstanding as well.
When the ref raised Roman Reigns' hand, fans booed. Of course they did. The definition of insantity...
After the match Cena went over and raised Reigns' hand. The fans booed, of course. Cena then whispered something into Reigns' ear and he nodded. Roman left and Cena went and sat in the corner, like Raven, pondering what had just happened.
Cena sat there, pondering. He got to his knees and the fans chanted something, maybe thank you. They cheered. He got up and waved, then left. He left and hugged a kid. Then the fans chanted Thank You Cena, and it was earned and deserved. He took it in and then went to the back. At 40 it sure seemed like he wanted to take it all in, and he did. As he got up the ramp, he gave the salute.
Before the Cruiserweight Title, Miz came in and said to Kurt Angle that he wanted to have Roman on Miz TV at Raw tomorrow. Kurt agreed and said it will kick off the show.
Neville defending the Title against Enzo is next. Champ out first. Of course. Enzo needs time to tell us what his name is and what he is.
Enzo got his pop. He was wearing....oh never mind.
Enzo called Neville ugly, and other things. He called him a Keebler Elf looking schmuck and cookie dough. Please Neville, destroy this guy.
Eps said beach ball just started. If he gets it, he will pop it. That's why I love Eps.
Vic Joseph on the call. Neville in control early on. And after that as well. Enzo is getting beaten up, as he should. He got destroyed the whole way and then kicked Neville in the balls and stole a pin and the Title. It was the firsth thing on the show that sucked. A clown now has the Cruiserweight Champ, andt that is not a good thing. Not good at all.
Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar is up now.
Braun looked really strong most of the way, dominating Brock. Then Brock locked in the Kimura on the left arm and they sold that Braun was a one-armed man the rest of the way, which was more 50-50. After trading near falls, Brock hit an F5 out of nowhere and got a clean pin. Just like that. One stinking F5. After all the carnage that preceded it one F5 felled Braun.
I didn't think Braun needed to win the match, but to go down so meekly (and I am not buying that it was OK since his arm was hurt) just came off badly. The older, part time guy did the job in Cena-Reigns. The older, part time guy put a big gash into the armour of the young guy in this match.
The show was super strong most of the way through. The booking in the last two matches ended it on a flat note.

I couldn't agree more. A great show ended on a really bad note.
