WWE RAW REPORT: IS ROMAN REIGNS STILL IN THE MONEY IN THE BANK MATCH?, WHO IS THE DIVAS CHAMPION?, OWENS AND CENA TALK ABOUT ROLE MODELS, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2015-06-01 23:00:06
We are back and the man who won the Champion versus Champion match at The Elimination Chamber makes his way to the ring.

Owens says when he says he is going to do something, he delivers. When I got to NXT, and I said I was going to win the NXT Title, I delivered. When I said I was going to take out Sami Zayn, I delivered. When I said, I was going to leave John Cena laying in the ring at Elimination Chamber, I delivered.

Kevin says last night was the biggest victory of his career and he should be on top of the world. After the match, he called home and he talked to his wife and she was happy for him. Then he talked to his son, and he is a huge John Cena fan. Kevin says that all his son could say is ‘Is John Cena okay’? Kevin says he gets it. He has been watching Cena for years. Even though he understands, he does not think it is okay.

Kevin says it is not his fault. It is blind worship spurred on by the last decade of John Cena being portrayed as a real life Superhero. The bright colors and the powerful catchphrases. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect. Never Give Up.

While he honed his craft for a decade to make it to the WWE, his son followed John Cena. John became the hero to his son because he was not featured on WWE television every week. That is when Cena became Super Cena.

Kevin says Last night he beat Super Cena. Those ridiculous words are being uttered by a broken, empty shell of a man. In two weeks, when I beat John Cena again, he will expose the lie that is John Cena. Kevin says he is going to make sure that his son watches every single second.

If you have a child who wants a John Cena shirt or John Cena party, make sure they watch because a real role model does not depend on bright colors and catch phrases. A real role model does what he says he is going to do.

John Cena’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring in his bright colors with his Never Give Up towel.

John says Kevin Owens is a jackass. He tells Kevin to shut his mouth and stop talking. He tells Kevin to act like you have been there before. After last night, the entire world is talking about Elimination Chamber. They are throwing out hashtags about the match. Everyone is talking about Kevin Owens.

John points out that the crowd is chanting ‘You Got Beat’ and John points out that he got beat last night in one of the best debuts. John says someone would accept the challenge, beat him and be the better man.

John says that he was going to come to the ring, shake Kevin’s hand, and give him the title but that was before he heard what Kevin said. John says Kevin does not deserve the NXT Title. He says Kevin is a great wrestler, but he is so busy trying to be a real role model before being a real man. A real man does not comment about a man because of what he wears.

John says Kevin blames the WWE marketing machine, but then he would have an Adam Rose shirt, want to be a Funkasaurus, and would want to play in the XFL. That is not the case. They feel the way they feel because they believe. They believe because they see deliver every week. Those corporate slogans and catch phrases were not puked up by corporate suits, they are how he lives his life in and out of the ring.

Over the past decade, it is his undying passion for the WWE and the people in the seats every week is so obvious unless you are six or sixty-nine, whether he wins or loses, whether you chant ‘Let’s Go Cena’ or ‘Cena Sucks’ . . . if he says or if he wears the words ‘Never Give Up’ he is encouraging everyone to do the same thing.

It is like working day in and day out for a decade being told you will never make it and then when opportunity knocks, you knock down the door and you raise your hand and say ‘The Champ is Here’. That is what happened to you last night Kevin. The three words that define the life journey of Kevin Owens are not ‘Fight Owens Fight’. The three words that define Kevin Owens are ‘Never Give Up’.

Cena tells Owens ‘man to almost man’, think before you speak. You said you deliver on every promise but in two weeks, you will have to explain why a wrestler lost to a real man.

Cena takes off his shirt and he is ready to fight, but Owens is not in the mood so he leaves the ring.
