Last man standing time. Roman Reigns vs. Big Show. ... Show was in control early, then Roman fought back, hitting a DDT on a chair. He went to the floor and got a table but before he could use it, Show hit him with a KO punch. Reigns beat the ten count. Reigns managed to put Show through a table with a Samoan Drop. And the fans popped. Reigns is getting over. Roman got up before ten but Show rolled to the floor, thus landing on his feet. ... Reigns set up tables on the floor and wanted to suplex Show from the second rope but he fought out. Roman tossed Show in the ring then hit two Superman punches before running into a chokeslam. Show then dumped him through the tables Reigns had set up on the floor. The announcers were counting Reigns out, but he made his feet before ten. Good job of Reigns taking the beating and keeping on ticking. ... Show thought he had Reigns and charged the corner, but he instead went through the table. Show got up and Reigns hit the Spear. They are both down. They rolled to the floor, where Roman did a spear putting Show through part of the ringside barricade. Both got up before ten. This is the first thing on the show I have enjoyed. Please don't blow the finish. ... Show went to chokeslam Reigns on the announce table but Reigns got out. He ran around ringside and hit The Spear, laying Show out. Show somehow beat the count so Reigns buried him under what was left of the table and stood on it to keep Show pinned down. Reigns wins.
This was easily the best thing on the show. Kudos to both guys on their work. As bad as the booking was in the Cena match, this was that good.
Kane ran into Randy Orton in the back. Orton talked about their history and how The Authority is using Kane. Do the right thing Kane!
To kill some time, Bo Dallas came out and did his spiel. Ryback came out. Bo attacked him at first. If you don't know how this ended, this is your first PPV.
OK, then Rusev came out and said he never actually lost to Cena, any time, even though he did. Lana came in. She said it's on. The final chapter at Payback. Rusev vs. Cena in an I Quit match. Practice saying the words Rusev and then get ready for your new role, in a tag team with Bray Wyatt.
Main Event time. Kane came out first as the keeper of the cage. Then Orton. Then Rollins. Kane locked them in. Intro time and then off we go.
Dinner came to the house so I won't do play by play. ... The match early on was Orton in control and Rollins trying to get out. They even did the Stooges climb the cage spot. ... Then it came down to Kane opening the door and Rollins hitting him by accident. Kane showved the door into both Orton and Rollins' faces. Who did he want to get was the question. Kane went in the ring and laid out The Stooges. Then Orton with the Chokeslam. As Rollins went for the door, Kane grabbed him and Chokeslammed the champ. He did put Rollins arm over Orton then went to leave (as it was best for business still), but Orton kicked out. Rollins hit the RKO on Kane, but Rollins then hit the RKO on Orton and then crawled out to retain the Title.
It was fine work wise. I would have liked to have seen more out of Rollins in a dominating manner, but it is what it is.
That ended the show. I don't know if they did enough to keep the free people to stay on. We will know in a few months.
