THE COLONY IN TRIOS ACTION: LIVE, ONGOING CHIKARA COVERAGE FROM PHILADELPHIA

By Mike Johnson on 2015-01-25 13:37:32
The Colony (Worker Ant & Silver Ant & Fire Ant) vs. Jakob Hammermeier & Pinkie Sanchez & Soldier Ant.

Soldier Ant obviously turned on his bretheren so the Ants all wanted to get a hold of him. They all battled. It settled down to Worker Ant going back and forth with Sanchez. Sanchez went to the top for a axehandle but weas nailed. Silver Ant tagged in and cleaned house, scoring several two counts. The Ants began using double-team maneuvers to break down Sanchez.

Sanchez cut off Fire Ant and tagged in Jakob. Not it was the villains taking turns tagging in and out as they picked apart Fire Ant. Worker Ant finally tagged in and bodyslammed all of the villains. The Colony cleared the ring and shot Fire Ant out of the ring for a senton to the outside, wiping everyone out.

Back in the ring, Sanchez nailed Worker from behind and nailed a rough double stomp on Worker Ant. Fire Ant was attacked on the floor and beaten down. Silver Ant was knocked off the apron. Jakob began stomping the hell out of Worker Ant in the corner. Worker fought back and finally made the hot tag to Siver Ant. He hit the ring and began dishing out offense. He nailed a nice DDT off the ropes on Soldier Ant.

The Colony nailed some triple-team moves and pressed Jakob over their heads, tossing him over the top to the floor on his partners. Everyone began brawling. It came down to Soldier and Silver Ant in the ring, striking back and forth. Silver nailed a spinning sitdown powerbomb. Sanchez nailed a forward choke on Silver but was attacked by Fire. Jakob attacked Fire and tossed him out. Sanchez and Silver battled back and forth with strikes and headbutts.

Silver went for a Burning Hammer byt Sanchez escaped. He got caught and nailed with a back suplex. Jakob drilled Silver and covered him for a two count. Soldier and Worker battled in the ring as everyone else battled on the floor. Soldier was trapped in a leg submission. Silver was able to hit the ring and force a break.

They went into a great sequence that was too quick to recap but lots of fun. It ended with Fire wiping out Sanchez with a superkick. Soldier clotheslined him upside down. Soldier went to finish him off but Fire saluted him as if he was pledging loyalty. Jakob nailed him and he crashed into Soldier. Jakob locked a Texas Cloverleaf on Worker Ant, who finally tapped.

Your winners, Jakob Hammermeier & Pinkie Sanchez & Soldier Ant!

Good, long back and forth match. Eddie Kingston vs. Kevin Condron with The Lithuanian Snow Troll.

Condren pulled out a wrench at the bell, so Kingston grabbed a chair from the outside. The referee took them away. Kingston nailed Kevin in the mouth and started throwing a bunch of nasty suplexes. He drilled Kevin in the conrer with some evil, stiff chops.

Kingston brought him to the floor and continued beating him, sending him into the guard rails. They abttled back to the apro,n, where Kingston nailed a reverse DDT. Kevin pulled himself up in the corner and dared Kingston to keep going. Kingston wiped him out and choked him with his boot. Kingston gave him the Kobashi like chops in the corner.

Kingston killed him with a big suplex throw and pulled in the Frog when he tried to interfere. Kevin speared Kingston and covered him but only got a one count. Kingston did something and the referee DQ’d him. Watever it was, the crowd wasn’t happy about it.

Your winner, Kevin Condren!

Kingston chased the referee out with a chair.

Decent beating from Kingston until they went with the finish.

The Batiri vs. Frightmare & Hallowicked

It was all Batiri early on, including a dive to the outside. When the other member went for a dive as well, Hallowicked and Frightmare launched his partner at him. They then worked him over in the ring and scored several two counts. The Batiri tried to fight back but was cut off and nailed with a double suplex off the ropes for another near fall.

They continued to work him over and he failed to make a tag out, then the referee missed when they did get a tag. The Batiri cleaned house and hit all sort of good offense but eventually fell to the villains.

Your winners, Frightmare and Hallowicked!

Another good match. Lots of good tag team storytelling.
