By Mike Johnson on 2015-01-24 23:00:00

HOUR TWO:

The Addiction vs. Jay Lethal & Jay Diesel with Truth Martini

Diesel and Kazarian started out with Kazarian controlling the action. Lethal tagged in and said he wanted “the old guy”, meaning Daniels. Daniels tagged in. Lethal then tagged back out. The Addiction took control and worked over Diesel with double team maneuvers. Diesel and Lethal cut off Daniels and controlled him on the mat, tagging in and out.

Daniels finally made the hot tag to Kazarian, who cleaned house with dropkicks and even nailed Martini when he hit the ring to interfere. He nailed a slingshot into a cutter on Lethal. Kazarian used a modified stump puller for a submission but Lethal made it to the ropes. Diesel rteturned to the fray and all four battled.

Lethal nailed an awesome flying elbow for a two count. Kazarian nailed a guillotine legdrop through the ropes on Diesel. Daniels nailed the Uranage on Lethal and called for the BME. Someone in a mask showed up and blocked the buckles. Daniels went to confront him and Lethal rolled him up and scored the pin.

Your winners, The House of Truth.

Soild stuff. I think the masked guy is a new storyline for The Addiction.

Top Prospect Tournament Finals: Will Ferrara vs. Donovan Dijac

They did some nice big man/little man spots early. Ferrara had Donovan on the run but he cut him off with a big kick, Donovan whipped him hard into the buckles. Ferrara nailed Donovan with both knees. Ferrara locked in a submission but Donovan fought back The Decade came to the ring. Veda Scott, Bob Evans and Truth Martini also came out, so the idea is they are being scouted,

They battled to the apron. Ferrara tried to hit a back suplex to the floor but was fought off. Donovan hit an insane backflip off the apron to the floor, wiping him out. Donovan brought him back to the ring and went for his finisher but Ferrara slipped out and rolled him up for a two count. Ferrara then nailed a Code Red for a two count.

Donovan came back with his Torture Rack into the knee and scored the pin,

Your winner of the match and the Top Prospect Tournament, Donovan Dijac!

Another really good showing for both men. A star is born in Dijac for sure! All the managers began trying to get him to sigh with them.

Ring of Honor Tag Team champions ReDragon vs. The Decade’s BJ Whitmer & Adam Page

They all began brawling at the bell. ReDragon hit stereo sliding kicks to the outside. Back in the ring, ReDragon took apart Page for a long time. Whitmer avoided a diving kick and trapped Fish inside the ring apron where he beat Fish down. Page nailed a kick from the inside.

Whitmer and O’Reilly battled in the ring. Whitmer and O’Reilly went back and forth. Page and Whitmer tagged in and out, working over Kyle for some time. It was good, textbook tag team wrestling. O’Reilly made a comeback with some awesome kicking combinations and tagged in Fish.

Fish nailed a great Samoan Drop on Whitmer and then took Page out with a series of moves. ReDragon began nailing strikes and Fish dropped Whitmer with a back suplex. They dropped some double-team knowledge on Whitmer. The Decade fought back and double teamed O’Reilly but Fish broke up the pinfall.

O’Reilly trapped Page in a triangle choke. Page tried to turn it into a pinfall but Kyle turned it back over and cinched it in. Page finally tapped.

Your winners and still ROH Tag Team champions, ReDragon!

Really good, long tag match. A nice throwback bout with some really great futuristic tag team combinations and strikes mixed in.

After the match, Whitmer again screwed with Corino who hit the ring. Several attendants hit the ring to stop them. Corino shoved one, who was actually his son Colby down. Corino apologized but The Decade surrounded Colby and appeared to be trying to talk to him. I am pretty sure that was the start of an angle.

They announced they would return on 8/21 for another TV Taping.
