Sheldon Goldberg's New England Championship Wrestling presented their 14th anniversary show on 9/6 in Everett, MA at the Everett Rec Center.
Results from the show, which was filmed for the promotion's weekly TV series on COZI-TV in Boston, saw:*Tim Lennox defeared Johnny Thunder with a top rope splash.
*Genesis defeated Sean Burke following a powerslam.
*Davienne defeated Mistress Belmont (recently had a TNA tryout) to win the World Women's Wrestling championship in what was said to have been a really good technical bout.
*Todo Loco defeated NECW TV champion "Masshole†Mike McCarthy to win the title in what was said to have been the best match of the show. The back story was that they were under three falls. The first fall was pinfall only, the second was submission and the third fall was "Loco Rules" meaning no rules. They introduced some weapons in the third fall, something NECW usually doesn't do and even had Todo crash through a table while being thrown out of the ring. At one point, Beau Douglas tried to interfere but McCarthy refused the help. That set up a babyface turn for McCarthy after the bout where he showed respect for Loco, only to be attacked and laid out by Douglas.
*The Tomahawk Kid defeated Zachary Springate III with a surprise upset using a small package.
*Jeremy Prophet defeated Jack Maverick.
*DC Dillinger & Nick Farenheight defeated NECW Tag Team champions the End to win the belts.
*NECW champion Brad Hollister defeated Antonio Thomas in what was said to have been an excellent bout.
NECW's latest TV episode will air tonight on (Thursday night/Friday morning) at 12:30 AM, on WMFP TV, Channel 62 featuring the debut of The Tomahawk Kid vs. Johnny Thunder and Mistress Belmont & Toxis to battle Davienne and Lizzie Raze.
