COMPLETE WWE SUMMERSLAM PAY PER VIEW COVERAGE: RING OF FIRE MATCH; WORLD AND WWE TITLES DEFENDED; DID ANYONE CASH IN THEIR BRIEFCASE?; LESNAR AND PUNK BRAWL; TOTAL DIVAS ON DISPLAY; AND MORE

Now that the Kickoff Show is completed, it is time for the pay per view to begin. We are in Los Angeles, California and your announcers are Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and John Layfield.

Your host makes his way onto the stage and he welcomes everyone to the 26th SummerSlam. He promises to make this the most must see SummerSlam. Miz mentions the two main events: CM Punk versus Brock Lesnar and John Cena versus Daniel Bryan, with guest referee Triple H.

Fandango and Summer Rae interrupt Miz and Miz with a few reallys.

Before we get to our first match, Jo Jo Offerman sings the National Anthem.

We see the Spanish Announce team before we get to our opening match.

Match Number One: Ring of Fire Match - Kane versus Bray Wyatt

The bell rings and the flames circle the ring and Kane punches Wyatt and sends him into the turnbuckles. Kane with an uppercut to Wyatt and Rowan and Harper try to get close to the ring but the flames rise. Kane with uppercuts and Wyatt retreats towards the corner momentarily. Wyatt with a boot and punches.

Wyatt tries for a suplex but Kane blocks it. Kane with a suplex and the impact on the mat causes the flames to rise. Kane with a punch and snap mare followed by a drop kick but he misses. Wyatt and Kane with kicks. Kane with an Irish whip but he misses a splash in the corner. Wyatt with a splash into the corner. Wyatt with a running cross body and he takes Kane to the mat.

Wyatt with punches and kicks to Kane. Kane grabs Wyatt by the throat but Wyatt escapes and he punches Kane. Kane with a boot to Wyatt. Kane with punches and an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Kane with another Irish whip and clothesline into the corner followed by a side slam. Kane sets for the choke slam but he decides to charge into the corner and Wyatt with an elbow and Wyatt sends Kane to the mat.

Harper grabs a kendo stick but the fire sets the stick on fire. Kane with a clothesline to Wyatt. Rowan tries to put out the flame with a fire extinguisher but the flames are back. Kane grabs Wyatt by the throat and he hits a choke slam. Kane grabs Wyatt for another choke slam and he tells Wyatt that this is his playground. Kane with another choke slam.

Kane signals for the tombstone but Harper and Rowan are able to cover the flame and they go into the ring. Harper with a cross body to Kane and they attack him. Harper and Rowan send Kane into the corner and Harper with a slam and Rowan with a splash to Kane. Harper and Rowan pick up Wyatt and then Kane is held up by Rowan and Harper.

Wyatt with the kiss to the forehead followed by Sister Abigail for the three count.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

After the match, Rowan and Harper drag Kane in front of Wyatt in his rocking chair. He puts Kane on top of one part of the ring steps and then they drop the other part of the steps on Kane’s head. Wyatt lights the lantern, the lights go out and Wyatt leads Harper and Rowan to the back with Kane.

We are back with the Kickoff Panel and Josh introduces everyone.

Josh asks Booker for his thoughts on what we saw in the Ring of Fire match. Booker says that it was disturbing. The Wyatt Family has flipped the script. Shawn calls it an impressive debut, but he is a bit uncomfortable by what he saw. Vickie says that isn’t how she would have done things.

We go down to the announce table and they wonder where the Wyatt Family has taken Kane.

We go to Paul Heyman’s comments about whether he thinks the Lesnar/Punk match is a modern version of David and Goliath.

Damien says that throughout literature, there have been numerous duos. Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson, Batman and Robin. Each duo had something in common. There was a leader and an inferior sidekick or lackey. Cody Rhodes was his sidekick. Tonight, he sends him back to whence he came. Back to his carnival of clowns. The Rhodes Scholars could have been a prolific pairing. Tonight he is sent back to a pairing with his father . . . dumb and dumber.

Match Number Two: Cody Rhodes versus Damien Sandow

They lock up and Sandow backs Cody into the turnbuckles but Cody with punches to Sandow. Sandow kicks Rhodes and Rhodes punches Sandow. Rhodes sends Sandow into the turnbuckles and then he Irish whips Sandow and hits a back body drop. Rhodes with a gourdbuster to Sandow for a near fall. Sandow sends Rhodes to the apron and then he connects with a drop kick to the legs and Cody falls to the floor.

Sandow runs Rhodes’ back into the apron and they return to the ring. Sandow with forearms to the lower back followed by a suplex. Sandow gets a near fall. Sandow with a knee to the back and then he stretches Rhodes. Rhodes backs Sandow into the corner to get out of the hold. Sandow with a forearm to the back. Sandow escapes Cross Rhodes with a snap mare. Sandow with knees to Rhodes.

Sandow with a side Russian leg sweep and he sets for the Elbow of Disdain and he connects and gets a near fall. Sandow with forearms to the back followed by a knee. Sandow with a modified Cloverleaf but Cody escapes. Sandow with a forearm to the back of the neck and then he rubs Cody’s face in the mat. Sandow with boots to the head and then he goes to the turnbuckles. Cody with a punch to the midsection and Cody with head butts to Sandow on the turnbuckles.

Cody with a musclebuster for a near fall. Sandow with a kick to Rhodes but Cody with a clothesline and back elbow followed by punches. Rhodes with the drop down uppercut but Rhodes is sent over the top rope. Cody lands on the apron and then he hits a springboard drop kick.

Cody grabs Sandow and he goes for the kick to the abdomen. Sandow avoids the Beautiful Disaster and Sandow sends Rhodes into the ropes and then he hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Sandow tries for a sunset flip but Rhodes drops down and gets a near fall. Cody hits Beautiful Disaster but he can only get a two count.

Rhodes charges into the corner and hits the ring post when Sandow moves. Sandow with a rollup for a near fall. Cody escapes a slam attempt and Rhodes tries for an O’Connor Roll but Sandow holds on to the ropes. Rhodes hits Cross Rhodes and gets the three count.

Winner: Cody Rhodes

After the match, Sandow holds on to his briefcase.

With the World Title Match next we take a look at the Christian video package that aired last week.

Match Number Three: World Title Match - Alberto Del Rio versus Christian

They lock up and Del Rio backs Christian into the corner and Del Rio with a clean break. Del Rio with a kick to the leg and punches. Del Rio with a side head lock and Del Rio holds on when Christian tries to send him off the ropes. Del Rio with a shoulder tackle. Christian with punches and then he sends Del Rio over the top rope to the floor. Christian with a baseball slide but Del Rio moves.

Del Rio tries to punch Christian when Christian gets back on the apron but Del Rio misses. Christian drops Del Rio against the top rope. Christian goes up top but Del Rio escapes and crotches Christian. Del Rio with a step up enzuigiri and Christian is in the tree of woe. Del Rio with a running kick to the left shoulder. Del Rio with a hammer lock and he sends Christian shoulder first into the ringside barrier.

Del Rio gets a near fall when they return to the ring. Del Rio with an arm bar. Christian with punches and kicks. Del Rio sends Christian into the air and then Del Rio with a flying Yakuza kick and he wraps the left arm in the ropes. Del Rio goes up top with a double stomp to the arm while Christian was hanging on the middle rope. Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio with a drop kick to the arm. Del Rio wraps the arm in the ropes again.

Del Rio goes for a splash in the ropes and Christian moves. Del Rio hits the floor hard and he is down. Christian with a cross body from the turnbuckles onto Del Rio on the floor. Both men struggle to get back into the ring but they are able to get back inside. Del Rio with an arm wringer to the mat and then he kicks Christian in the head.

Del Rio sees blood from his nose and he slaps Christian. Del Rio tries for a knee off the turnbuckles but he hits Christian’s boot. Christian with a punch and he goes to the turnbuckles for a missile drop kick. Christian with punches in the corner. Christian goes up top and Del Rio tries for a step up enzuigiri and Christian ducks. Christian with a cross body for a near fall.

Del Rio with forearms to the back but Christian lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Del Rio escapes a Killswitch but Del Rio with a lungblower when Christian goes to the turnbuckles and Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio with a kick to the back. Christian with an inside cradle for a near fall. Del Rio with an enzuigiri in the corner for a near fall.

Del Rio goes to the turnbuckles for a back senton but Christian moves. Christian goes to the turnbuckles for the back elbow and he connects. Del Rio runs Christian into the turnbuckles and the referee warns Alberto. Alberto goes for a superplex but Christian tries to counter with a sunset flip power bomb. Del Rio punches Christian but Christian with a drop kick to Del Rio on the turnbuckles. Christian with a super rana and he gets a near fall.

Christian tries for the spear but Del Rio with a drop kick. Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio signals for the Cross Arm Breaker. Christian avoids the float over and then Christian with a drop toe hold that sends Del Rio into the ropes. Christian with an uppercut on the floor. Del Rio with a super kick for a near fall.

Del Rio drops the knee pad and he goes for the super kick but Christian moves. Christian with a rollup for a near fall. Christian with a spear but he cannot cover due to his shoulder. Del Rio locks in the cross arm breaker and Christian taps out.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio
