FULL BLOG FROM THE SUMMERSLAM PPV

With Punk out of the ring, Cena went to work on Show, but it didn't last long. Punk came out of nowhere and laid out Show and then nailed him with knees to the head. After three, Show was still too much. Cena hit a Alabama Jam from the top and both he and Punk locked on submissions and Show tapped out. Who won? The ref doesn't know. You can see where this is going. Yep, here comes AJ Cena. She says restart the match and Show get up and does a double chokeslam. So the guy who tapped out is now back in the match when it should have just been Punk and Cena. There is no freakin' cure for stupid.

Cena hit the AA on Show like a second later and Punk threw him out of the ring and stole the pin. So Punk is still the champ. Solid match and continuing the trend of the night, the booking was dopey.

OK it's 10:03. They can't give all of the remaining time to Lesnar-HHH can they? Can you say Ryback?

They showed Piers Morgan in the crowd. Then Fred Durst, who flipped off the crowd because either the booking or his career sucked. Then we saw Rick Rubin, the money man behind Smokey Mountain Wrestling. Then we saw former WCW Champion David "Yeah I know it's even more unbelievable that I banged Courtney Cox than I was a World Champ" Arquette. And, he had his title belt with him. That's because Courtney got his balls in the divorce. Maria Menounos was there with a Bob Backlund shirt on. Yep, having white pants with skidmarks on them at WrestleMania wasn't enough she is really out to kill her career isn't she?

OK, we are filling time with the cast of "The Day" and recap of the free show match. ... Ken Rudolf The Squishy Musician played next. Jesus, can I have that Ryback match instead PLEASE?

Main event time. Given the horrible booking on this show, I am really wondering what they will do here. If they have HHH win, well Brock will be officially useless as he will be 0-2 on his return. The way they need to go is have him kill HHH.

They are selling this like a fight. They can't have HHH fight on an even keel with Brock. They just can't. Can they? ... HHH clotheslined Brock out of the ring twice. Do you do that in a fight? ... Brock came back into the ring and took off his gloves and took down H. Punch to the head, bare knuckle style. ... On the floor he did a nice slam on the ringside table on H. ... He did another one in the ring, both times H's "broken arm" was behind his back. ... Brock kept working over H. With the beating H is taking I have a sick feeling they will let him win.

Lesnar is more wrestling than fighting. Lesnar is bleeding from his nose. ... H comes back and hit s DDT but Brock went back to the arm. Cole yelled, "Look at the torque" when Brock wasn't torquing. Kind of funny. ... Lesnar then threw H bad arm first into the steps on the floor. Then he drove H into the announce table and nailed him with a jumping slug on the floor. ... Cole told us that Brock isn't a Superstar. He is, and I quote, a BUTT KICKER. He should let Fred Durst do his commentary. ... Brock is still in control, laying out HHH, when I heard a boring chant from a few fans. Ouch. Truth be told, it's going on a bit long. ... On cue, H comes back, kind of, with a suplex. He then for the Pedigree but Brock was too fresh. Brock tossed him to the floor.

H came back and is laying boots into Lesnar, who sold it as being terrible. He hit a spinebuster and Cole is selling it like the greatest thing ever. Lesnar went for the F5 but H turned it into a Pedigree and got a two. Heyman was screaming at ringside at Lesnar and sounded like he lost his voice. ... Lesnar then hit H in the crotch but "since this was the fight H wanted" it continued. So the legit UFC tough guy needs a crotch shot to beat an executive. ... Brock hit the F5 but Brock could only get on two on said exec. ... Brock finally got the Kimura Lock on but H got to the ropes. That led to Pedigree number two. As he went for the cover Brock got the Kimura Lock. Hunter won't tap, then he did. His arm may be broken again. Or say they are saying. Lesnar wins, which was at least the right finish.

After the match, H eventually came to and finally someone from medical came out, but H told him to hit the bricks. Meanwhile, a lot of the crowd was chanting "you tapped out". Way to know your audience Vince! Then H said he was sorry and many of the fans cheered him. At least H knows to do the job. He took the long walk out of the building, saying he is sorry. As he got to the ramp Vince McMahon told Michael Cole to wonder if this was the end of HHH and he did. Lawler said he thinks HHH just said goodbye.

Honestly, this was one flat show. The booking blew chunks. Some of the work was good, but the booking really hurt a lot of this show.
