Hour Three:

As much as it bugs me that the WWE Title is secondary to AJ, it makes me madder that the Title match is not the main event. Again. Sheesh.

Oh good, it's second unannounced match number two as Ryback gets to destroy Hawkins and Reks. Yay. ... The two get some offense in as they cheat to double team Ryback. Reks is kicking down Ryback. On the one hand, it makes sense for two Superstars to be able to dominate one guy. On the other, it's Reks and Hawkins. Whatever, it's a PPV and no one really sees these shows anyway, right? ... These guys are tagging in and out and beating Ryback down. Again, I question the logic of making him look vulnerable in this fashion. ... Ryback started his comeback and got a Goldberg chant. Well, a weak one. Doesn't seem like most of the crowd cares that much. ... Ryback finally wins, but only pins Reks. Then again, he did throw Hawkins to the floor. Ryback wants to be fed more. I don't know fella, a double helping of jabroni seemed to fill you to the point of throwing up. Just sayin'.

Just in case you missed the first few reminders, there is a 1000th Raw next week. This one is Chris Jericho's favorite Raw moment. Shockingly, it was his 1999 debut. .

Holy shiznit, at 10:13 we have a six divas tag match, unannounced bout number three. First out was Layla, who if you only know about AJ is actually the Divas champ. Yeah I know, who would have through AJ wasn't the champ! She is teaming with Kaitlyn and Tamina Snuka. They are taking on Beth Phoenix, Flatutalya and Eve Torres. For those of you who cared, Layla pinned Beth to win it for her team. Cole did product placement and said we should send out a Tout of Jerry Lawler popping Viagra during the match and getting a woody, or something like that.

SummerSlam is next month. Be there for the biggest party of the summer on August 19.

It's time for your main event (you know the thing that is supposed to be a title match but instead is a match to determine who will get a shot at the title, after the Title match already happened). Anyway, The Miz. vs. Big Show vs. John Cena vs. Kane vs. Chris Jericho is up now. It opens with mayhem. ... Almost immediately, Cena clotheslines Big Show out of the ring. Let's hope that isn't an omen. ... With the other four on the floor, Miz made a quick run to the case. Cena will have none of it. ... Show threw a ladder on Jericho while he was on the floor. He took out Miz and Cena, leaving him to face off with Kane. ... Show laid him out. Then Miz. Then Jericho. The message is that Show is a monster. Well, until he ran into a codebreaker from Jericho and then got tossed by Miz and Kane. Cena cleared the Spanish announce table on the floor and FUs him threw it. Cool spot. They all buried Show under ladders. Well, except Jericho who laid out the other three. ... Jericho was in control in the ring but could not make his way up the ladder without being stopped. ... The crowd suddenly went into a dueling "Let's go Cena/Cena sucks" deal. ... Jericho finally made his way up the ladder but Superman would have none of it. He was all alone on the ladder but took too long and Miz took him out. Miz got up and was going for the case when Kane launched a projectile ladder at him. Kane went up but Jericho broke it up but lending Kane his throat. ... Jericho and Miz double suplexed Kan on a ladder. Super man came back and took out Miz and Jericho, of course. Then he took out Kane. But at least Jericho stopped the madness with a chair to the face of Cena. ... Now it's Show and Cena, and Show is in control. He is throwing ladders all around. He left the ring and went under it for a robo ladder. It's a monster. He is setting it up and selling how heavy it is, which he needs since he is huge. He is going to climb up. He made it up and could have grabbed it but Kane finally got there to stop him. ... Show knocked Kane off and Superman ran up, but Show knocked him down too. Show hesitated and Jericho creamed him with chairshots, knocking him off the ladder. Now it's Cena and Jericho making their way up. The briefcase is swaying and the two smack it away from each other. Cena went to AA Jericho from the top of the ladder when Jericho turned it into a sleeper. Superman powered out of it and went back up for the case but finally went out before he could get it. Miz tried to get it but was knocked off by Jericho. As Y2J went for it, Miz came back and the two were fighting over it. Jericho even had the case and swung from the ceiling with it. Finally, Show came up and KO'd Miz and Jericho. Superman cam back and started using it as a weapon on Show. As he was hitting him with it, it came free and Superman won. The kids and little girls screamed. And the worst possible guy to have win, won. Yay. Cena sold it like he just got laid for the first time. Now Superman has his hands on the kryptonite. Ugh. ... The match itself was really good and innovative, right up until the wrong guy won.

Overall, this show had three really good matches (WWE Title and the MITBs), one good match (The World Title) and a lot of filler that didn't belong on the show (the unannounced stuff). The booking was pretty spotty, with them making Ziggler look bad right after he won MITB and giving the only guy in the company that doesn't need the briefcase the briefcase. If you want to watch good action with little regard for the booking, buy the replay. If the booking matters, get the DVD. It's much cheaper.
