After the early back and forth, Itami was in control in the first few minutes.  Black is bleeding from the nose after a few kicks. Itami messed with Black by mocking his seated post.  Itami hit a DDT when Black got mad and got a two.

Then Black came back with a huge kick to the head and a quebrada.  Black is a bloody mess.

They exchanged big blows and Itami got a two with an elbow and another with a Fisherman’s Suplex.

Black got a two and followed with a roundhouse, putting Itami down.  Black went up to the top and Itami chased and hit the Avalanche Michinoku Driver/Falcon Arrow.  It hurt both guys so Itami only got a two.  Black got up and they went into strike mode.  Itami got a two off of a Falcon Arrow.  He got ready and went for the GTS.  He got him up and Black got out.  Itami attacked him and demanded respect.  But instead he ran into black Mass.  1-2-3.  Black wins.

Man, that was stiff.  Really stiff.  And really good.

Sasha, Bayley and Beck are in the house.  And then they showed us Asuka.  And then Ember.  They are up next.

Ember is out first.  Champ next.  Both are over.

Ember opens with a kick to the head and violence on the champ.  Asuka bailed to the floor. Ember chased and got bailed with a kick.  Moon came back with a cannonball senton from the second rope to the floor.  But Asuka came back by driving moon into the steps and going to work on the floor, including a suplex on the steel floor.  Asuka is working the shoulder.  Suffice to say, we are starting hot.

Asuka took her back into the ring and went to work on her.  She is a beast, and I mean that in a good way.

We getting dueling chants as Asuka was pulling Ember in many directions but Ember came back with a barrage of kicks and got a two.  Asuka came back with a German into the ropes.

Asuka hit the lock but Ember came back and went for one of her own.  Asuka worked the arm and then locked on the lock, with Asuka on her back.  But Moon powered out and hit a lariat.  Asuka is down, but so is Moon.  They got up and Asuka hit the flying hip, two count only.  She then missed allowing Ember to go up and hit a Tornado Suplex for two.  This is good stuff.  Ember is selling the shoulder.

It is crazy, Asuka was kicking Ember and somehow she almost got a two.  Ember went up but Asuka caught her.  Moon got out and blasted her with knee to the chest for a two count.  This is awesome.

Ember went up and hit her finisher but somehow Asuka got out.  Holy crap, the Eclipse only got a two!

Ember went up again and Asuka used the ref as a cover.  Ember jumped over him and Asuka used the tights but the ref saw it.  Ember hit a Superkick but Asuka kicked out.  The fans are chanting NXT.  Ember is waiting too long.  Get up.  She did.  Asuka was playing possum and grabbed an arm lock.  Ember got out but Asuka put on the Asuka Lock.  Ember fought but finally tapped out.  Asuka retains. This match was so so good.  I can’t wait to talk about it with Stu and Eps.  It was insane.

After Asuka left, Ember sat in the ring, angry.  The fans went nuts for her, giving her the respect she deserved.  Great moment.  They chanted Thank You Ember as she left, selling the shoulder.

Samoa Joe is in the house.  Time for our Main Event.  Drew McIntyre gets his shot against Bobby Roode.

Drew is out first, with the NYC Emerald Pipers.  For a Scot like Drew, that is awesome (says the guy married to a Scot).  I just told my wife and she was pissed she missed the entrance.  I will play it for her later.  Drew came out, looking ready for business.  He got a great reaction.

Bobby Roode had his amazing entrance.  Him, in the robe and the belt, the same night Ric Flair was awake after surgery, it just feels like karma is in the wrestling world.

They were going back and forth early until Drew some sick Scottish strength and suplexed Roode almost from a seated position.  They fought on the floor and Drew hit a tilt a whirl slam on the apron.  Ouch.  Deuling chants as they went back in the ring.

Roode then hit a flying neck breaker off of the apron on Drew on the floor and took him.  He worked Drew over as the ref gave his count.

Back in the ring Roode went to work and got a few near falls.

Nigel is so good.  He noticed a thigh bruise on Roode and talked about how it could hurt as the match went on.  That’s great selling.

Drew came back and got a two on a Celtic Cross.  Roode got up and dropped him throat first on the top rope.  Roode went up but Drew stopped him.  Nigel was right, Roode has a problem on his leg.  Drew had a problem when he got crotched and went into the Tree Of Woe but somehow Drew flipped him across the ring.  Drew went for the Claymore but Roode didn’t get up.  Roode was playing possum and got a few near falls when Drew went to check on him.

Drew got a two off of a backslide and another off of a Future Shock DDT.  Drew took Bobby up but got reversed into a Liger Bomb for a two.

They got up and threw hands.  Roode hit an enziguiri but Drew hit an Claymore.  Roode got his foot on the rope at two.  Roode rolled out to save himself.  Drew wanted to chase him but the ref grabbed him and stopped him.  Drew said F that and did a somersault splash/tope con hilo over the top to the floor.  Damn!

Drew got him back in the ring before the count and went for the kick but got hit with the Spinebuster.  Roode went for Glorious but Drew stopped him and got a two.  Roode did a great spinning Glorious but Drew kicked out before three.

Roode got up first.  He went for Glorious again and hit it.  Instead of covering he picked Drew up.  Mistake.  He ate a headbutt and a Claymore.  1-2-3!  New champion!  Scottish Pride!  Drew McIntyre has made Roode’s NXT HIS NXT!

It ain’t over yet.  We now know what HHH was talking about.  reDRagon got on the apron and the fans went nuts.  We knew what that meant.  Adam Cole debuted by attacking Drew and grabbing his belt.  They stood tall over Drew as the show went off the air, the fans popped.

H was right, one arc ended and a new one began.

Overall, it was a fantastic show.  WWE is in good hands whenever the book changes from Vince McMahon’s hands to Triple H’s.
