2003 - WWE ran the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY.  James Shea filed the following live report:

Just came back from the Smackdown brand house show at Westchester County Center and it was just awesome! The place was sold out (it seats about 2,000) and everyone was into the action. It's been nearly four years since the last event took place at Westchester County Center and no doubt people were excited about WWE coming back to County Center.

The show began with Tony Chimmel welcoming the crowd and the playing of the National Anthem. The opening match was Shannon Moore vs. Red Dog.

Match 1: Shannon Moore vs. Red Dog

Most of the people were cheering since they thought Matt Hardy was coming out with Moore, but it died down a bit when Moore got to the ring minus Matt. Red Dog had some good heat on him and he gave out some dog barks, which reminded me of Rick Steiner's bark. Red Dog dominated most of the match, but Moore offered some offensive with some moves off the ropes. RD got the win after hitting his finisher on Moore, which looked like a modified version of the crossface.

Winner: Red Dog by submission

Match 2: Bill DeMott vs. Funaki

Surprisingly, the crowd was behind DeMott during this match. Obvious outcome, but DeMott had a good display of hard hitting moves such as the sitdown powerbomb.

Winner: Bill DeMott by pinfall.

Match 3: Jamie Noble w/ Nidia vs. Kanyon

A warm welcome for Kanyon when he came out. Oddly, there were some "ECW" chants, but also there were "Who Betta Than Kanyon" chants as well throughout the building. A good match in my opinion, Noble and Kanyon had the crowd going. Awesome move by Kanyon as he hit the electric chair drop on Noble. Around the end, Nidia got in the ring and distracted Kanyon. Kanyon planted a kiss to Nidia and threw her in Noble’s way. Funny stuff when Kanyon rolled up Noble for a pin and knocked down Nidia to pin the both of them. The finish came when Nidia distracted the ref and missed Kanyon's pin. Noble won by hitting the Trailer Hitch. After the match, Noble and Nidia "made out" in the ring.

Winner: Jamie Noble by Trailer Hitch.

Match 4: Team Angle (Charles Haas/Shelton Benjamin) vs. Chris Benoit & Nathan Jones

Man, Nathan Jones is a HUGE individual. Not as buff as Scott Steiner, but he reminded me of a tall version of Goldberg. Shelton put on a great show when he was terrified to take on Jones. Every time he tried to size up Jones, Shelton would flee in terror and scream like a girl. Team Angle would put a good number on Benoit, but Benoit gained the upper hand by hitting his trademark body chops and clothesline. Jones gave a vicious clothesline to Haas, which almost seemed like it knocked off his head. However, Jones has some ring rust to shake off before he becomes a potential monster. A cool double team move by Team Angle as Haas held Benoit on the top rope and Shelton did a leap frog over Haas and lands on Benoit. Benoit and Jones won when Benoit hit his flying headbutt to Shelton. After Benoit and Jones left, Chimmel was going to announce the winners, but Team Angle grabbed Chimmel and threatened him with a chair to announce them as the winners. Chimmel softly said Team Angle won and Team Angle left with some major heat, along with "YOU SUCK, WHAT" chants.

Winner: Benoit & Jones after Benoit hits the flying headbutt on Benjamin.

Match 5: Brock Lesnar vs. A-Train & Paul Heyman (Handicap Match)

I thought this was the main event, oh well. Heyman came out in his business suit and he first berated the Westchester crowd ("A-Train is going to beat down Brock like a woman from Westchester!"). Heyman was talking about how over two years ago an ECW event took place at County Center and nearly caused a riot. “ECW” chants were going on, but after he said he was glad his old company went out of business, it quickly turned to "ASS****" chants. Heyman introduced A-Train and then "Shave Your Back!" chants took place. I'm surprised this match ended on a short note when Heyman distracted the ref, but Brock managed to get the chair from A-Train and blasted him in the head to get the pin. Heyman was trying to help A-Train up after the match, but Brock returned to the ring and caught Heyman with the F-5. The crowd was happy and hilarity ensued when A-Train was helping Heyman to sit down on the chair, but he stumbled over.

Winner: Brock Lesnar via chair shot to A-Train.

Intermission: Chimmel plugged for merchandise, nothing else.

Match 6: Billy Kidman vs. Nunzio (Crusierweight Title Match)

Everyone remembers Nunzio as Little Guido, so “Guido” chants started. A good fast-paced match, but not a lot of high flying action which is unusual for a cruiserweight match. Everyone was expecting Kidman to go for the Shooting Star Press, but Nunzio tried to reverse it, instead Kidman went for his new finisher (a Sky High powerbomb from the top rope).

Winner: Billy Kidman by pinfall.

Match 7: Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie (Bra and Panties Match)

Woo, woo, everyone had their cameras out for this one. Chimmel introduced Dawn Marie as Dawn Marie WILSON and she got on the mic to talk about her memories of Al "Charisma" Wilson, which no one seemed to care about. Torrie ran in to begin the match and the cameras were flashing when Torrie’s top came off first. After Torrie hit a hurricurana on Dawn, she stripped Dawn of her top and a catfight ensued. The ref got tangled up between Torrie and Dawn and he got a pop for it! The match ended when Torrie rolled up Dawn and took off her pants. After the match, Torrie showed off her thong to the crowd on our side.

Winner: Torrie Wilson

Match 8: Edge vs. John Cena

Cena got the house mic and began to rap off to the crowd. He raps “The worst place to be is New York State because all of yahs master-bate.” A lot of heat for that one. Edge comes in to the ring with a major pop and he grabs the mic to call Cena "extremely white" and he was no better than Eminem or Vanilla Ice. Good moves by both wrestlers with the match going back and forth. Red Dog came out to distract Edge, but he pushes RD off the mat and plants the spear on Cena. Edge gets the win and Cena is frustrated with Red Dog.

Winner: Edge via spear on Cena.

Before the final match, Chimmel announced that the WWE will return to the Nassau Coliseum on March 3rd and will be live for RAW. I'm positive it will be a long time before there's another live event at the County Center, unless Heyman, who's hometown is only a town away, persuade WWE agents to book another show in the near future.

Match 9: Los Guerreros (Eddie & Chavo Guerrero) vs. Rey Mysterio/Rikishi (WWE Tag Team Title Match)

Los Guerreros came out with a decent pop and everyone went wild for Mysterio, which was the loudest pop of the night. Rikishi came to the ring and told the Guerreros that he was going to "Back Dat Ass Up" in Spanish. Great match all together, Chavo would literally get knocked out of the ring by Rikishi every time he took him on. Good move by Mysterio after hitting the 6:19 on Chavo around the end. The finish came when Chavo distracted the ref and Eddie hits Rikishi with one of the tag team belts. Eddie pins Rikishi for the win, but after the bell, Mysterio and Rikishi took out Los Guerreros and Rikishi hit the double stinkface on them. The crowd goes wild as Mysterio and Rikishi exits the ring and Los Guerreros are left in the ring reeling from the stink face.

Winner: Los Guerreros after Eddie hits Rikishi with the tag belt.

Overall, the crowd was pretty much satisfied with the show and I'm really hoping they come back to the County Center at least by the end of the year.

Biggest Pop:

1. Rey Mysterio
2. Brock Lesnar
3. The ref in the Bras and Panties match
4. Edge
5. Benoit & Jones

Biggest Heat

1. Paul Heyman
2. Team Angle
3. John Cena
4. A-Train
5. Eddie after hitting Rikishi with the belt.

The last time that Randy Orton and Wade Barrett met in the ring on Smackdown for a match, Barrett sent Orton down stairs. Orton tried to get some revenge last week and he will try to get more tonight.

We are live on tape from Omaha, Nebraska and your announcers are Josh ‘I could use a nice steak tonight’ Mathews, Booker ‘College World Series’ T, and Michael ‘Berkshire Hathaway’ Cole.

Teddy Long is in the ring and he is bouncing around. Teddy talks about the Royal Rumble and he says that Smackdown will be participating in the Elimination Chamber pay per view. At this time, he wants to introduce the participants in the Elimination Chamber Match. First is the man who will be defending his title, Daniel Bryan. Next is Wade Barrett. The next person is the Big Show. Fourth is Cody Rhodes. The fifth participant is Mark Henry. The final entrant is Randy Orton.

Teddy says that he wants to explain the rules to the fans. The participants will draw numbers and the people who pick one and two will start the match. The others will enter at specific intervals and after five of those men are eliminated, the final person will be the winner of the match.

Mark Henry makes his way to the ring and he does not look happy.

Mark tells Teddy that he is not liking this. Teddy put him in the match with a six to one mathematical chance that he will win the match. The number could be worse depending on when he gets into the match.

Teddy tells Mark should be happy that he is even in the match at the Royal Rumble.

Mark says that he is the most dominant talent on this program and he is the big fish and Teddy’s meal ticket. He tells Teddy that he will have to take him out of the Elimination Chamber match and put him in a World Title Match tonight against Daniel Bryan.

Teddy wants to know what happens if he doesn’t do that.

Mark tells Teddy to give the fans what they want and give him what he wants and what he deserves.

Teddy says that he doesn’t know who Mark thinks he is, as he pokes Mark in the pec. He tells Mark that he will give him one of his wishes and that Mark is out of the Elimination Chamber match. There will be no World Title Match for Mark tonight.

Mark tells Teddy that he doesn’t get it. Mark says that Teddy is replaceable, just like John Laurinaitis on Raw. Mark says that he is not asking, he is demanding.

Teddy tells Mark that what he just did is going to cost him because Mark put his hands on the general manager. Teddy tells Mark that he is indefinitely suspended.

Mark is shown the way out of the ring and Mark turns around. Then he grabs Teddy by the tie and says that if he is going to be suspended, he should get his money’s worth.

Sheamus makes his way to the ring and he is ready for a fight.

Mark has some words for Sheamus. Teddy distracts Henry and Sheamus with a Brogue Kick to Mark that sends him to the floor.

Teddy tells Mark that security will escort him out of the door.

Sheamus points to the Wrestlemania sign and Teddy says that he has a question for Sheamus. He wants to know which title Sheamus is going to go after at Wrestlemania. Sheamus says that he has not thought about which champion he is going to face and he is going to wait until after the Elimination Chamber.

Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring and he tells the Great White to relax. He says that he is not here to fight him, he is here to warn him. Nobody is going to remember that Sheamus won the Royal Rumble match in 2012. People will remember that Cody eliminated the most people and lasted more than forty-five minutes. He is going to take that momentum into the Elimination Chamber and he is going to win the World Title and become the first dual champion since the Ultimate Warrior.

Cody says that both Sheamus and Teddy are like the Ultimate Warrior because half the time, he cannot understand what either of them are saying.

Teddy asks Cody if he understands him and then Teddy thanks Cody for coming because he is going to face Sheamus. The match is going to happen next.

We go to commercial.

Match Number One: Sheamus versus Cody Rhodes in a non Title Match

Sheamus takes the early advantage and he takes Cody down with a hip lock. Sheamus with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Sheamus with forearms to the back followed by an Irish wip. Cody tries to float over and Sheamus catches Rhodes and hits a fireman’s carry slam for a near fall.

Cody with a kick but Sheamus sends Cody over the top rope. Cody lands on the apron and Sheamus with a series of forearms across the chest and then Rhodes falls to the floor. Daniel Bryan is walking in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back and Michael Cole is in the ring to introduce the World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan.

Cole says that him and everyone else have been extremely critical of Bryan. Cole says that he thought he was a nerd and at best and at worst, never thought Bryan would make it in the WWE. He proved himself on Sunday in the Triple Threat Match. Cole says that it wasn’t a dominant victory and some say he was lucky.

Cole says that he may have been wrong about Bryan and he is man enough to admit that he was wrong. Cole offers his hand to Bryan and Bryan takes the mic from Cole.

Bryan says that he appreciates the sentiment, but the interview is not about Cole. Everything is not about him. Bryan says that this is about him. Bryan tells Cole that he has something he needs to say.

This past Sunday, he succeeded in defeating two monsters inside a steel cage who combined weigh almost half a ton. He proved that not only is he a champion, but he is a great champion. Bryan says that he is a great role model. He tells everyone to follow in his footsteps by living a life like him and being a vegan.

Bryan tells people to stop eating meat. He says that by eating meat, he is poisoning his intestines. You are killing innocent animals. He says that if you went to a slaughterhouse to see the way that the cattle, chicken, and little innocent pigs are killed you would not eat meat again.

The people in this city are the worst offenders. He says that he is confident in saying that because he is a vegan, he is healthier than anyone else in this building. He does not have clogged arteries and he will not suffer from congenital heart failure. He wants everyone to be a vegan.

Daniel says that he realizes that there are many sacrifices that he has to take and many injustices that he will have to endure, but he will not stand for prejudice against him. He should not have to defend the World Title in the Elimination Chamber. He should not have to defend it against five men. He should not have to defend it against a man who he has faced time and time again. Against a man who held the record for the shortest title reign. A man he has defeated four times.

Big Show is a man who has failed consistently but has consistently been rewarded. A man who intentionally ran over his 95 pound girlfriend as if she was a piece of meat. He calls Big Show a failure as a competitor and as a human being. Show should not be in a championship match.

If Teddy Long does not change his mind and take Big Show out of the match, Bryan says that he will take his case to the Board of Directors and Teddy will join John Laurinaitis and many of the people in the crowd on the unemployment line.

Big Show comes out and he has something to say. Show apologizes for not coming out sooner but he was finishing off a big steak. Show is shocked that Bryan considers himself a role model. The key to being a role model is not telling people what to do, but the people want to act like you because you are an example for people to follow.

He calls Bryan a pompous, arrogant little ass and a very lucky one. After the Elimination Chamber, Bryan will be a pompous, arrogant little ass but he will not be the World Champion. He cannot escape and no one can save him.

Bryan says that he understands that the odds are stacked against him. There is a chance that he might lose the World Championship. It will not be to Big Show. Show will lose, just like he always does. He says that once a loser, always a loser. Bryan says that he has proven that he can defy the odds. 2013 - PWInsiderTV revealed that the John Philapavage and Kevin Kiernan documentary on ECW would be titled "Barbed Wire City" -

2014 - WWE broadcast Raw. Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:

We are in Omaha, Nebraska and your announcers are John ‘Where is Warren Buffett’ Layfield, Jerry ‘I am the true Royal in this town’ Lawler, and Michael ‘Where is Peyton’ Cole.

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring and he has his two title belts with him.

Randy says that it has been a week since he was told that he had to defend his title against five others in the Elimination Chamber. Is that unfair? Unfair would be an understatement. The Authority is trying to take the title from him. He earned that title through hard work and dominance.

How many times does he have to beat John Cena? How many times does he have to beat Daniel Bryan? The same applies to Christian, Sheamus, and Antonio Cesaro. Randy says that he thinks that the people want to see one of them beat him.

Randy says that he will be victorious at Elimination Chamber and he will be victorious at Wrestlemania when he beats up that jacked up genetic freak Batista.

They were equals in Evolution, but things have changed Dave. He is Dave’s superior. Everyone needs to realize that he is the greatest of all time and the main attraction for Raw.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their way onto the stage.

Stephanie tells Randy to calm down because he has a history of self-destructing. He over-analyzes things and Randy gets a little paranoid. She tells Randy not to bit the hand that feeds him.

Randy says that he does not care what people think. He has overcome insurmountable odds to keep the title.

Hunter says that Randy says the same thing. He says that he overcomes impossible odds and he is being screwed over. Should they put their faith in someone else?

Stephanie reminds Randy that he will be facing five other superstars at the Elimination Chamber. Between now and then, he will face all five opponents. If this person beats Randy, they might have to consider that person to be the new face of the WWE.

Randy will face Daniel Bryan tonight.
