TOUGH ENOUGH COMPETITOR MAKES OFFICIAL DEBUT & MORE: 12/3 WWE NXT IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA LIVE REPORT

By Andrew Twiss on 2015-12-04 00:29:45

Here are full results from NXT Live at the Orlando Armory on 12/3/15

Your hosts and announcers for the evening are Dasha Fuentes and Alex Reyes.

- Rich Swann def. Alexander Wolfe. Fun opener. Wolfe is always technically solid and seems to work well with just about anybody. This was my first time seeing Swann work a singles match and he is impressive. He has some great aerial moves in his arsenal. I'm looking forward to seeing more.

- Asuka, Aaliyah and Adrienne Reese def. Emma, Cameron and Billie Kay (w/Sylvester Lefort). Good stuff. This may be the most comfortable I've seen Aliyah in the ring. Most of the math was Reese getting beaten down from the heels. Everybody looked good in there.  On a side note, Lefort have been appearing on numerous house shows managing Kay. Billie Kay has also changed her gear to include lace stockings, gloves, and a masquerade mask. Whether this take on her character ever makes it to TV remains to be seen, but they are definitely trying to distinguish her from her Aussie counterpart Peyton Royce.

- Dasha brings out Josh from Tough Enough. He says 2016 is going to be a big year. He has 250,000 why he's out to prove himself. He is then introduced under his new ring name, Bronson Mathews.

- Bull Dempsey def. Tino Sabbatelli. Mostly a comedy match, with Bull constantly doing jumping jacks to show how Bull Fit he is. The actual wrestling was kind of too short to be anything other than OK.

- Marcus Louis def. Oscar.  Kind of a meh match. The crowd was never really into it. Oscar has some nice, quick armdrags, but has a lot of work to be done to distinguish himself in NXT, especially with someone like Rich Swann on the roster, who has shown himself to be a better flyer. Louis is just ok in the ring, but he's also lacking something to really distinguish himself.

- Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady, and Levis Valenzuela w/Carmella def. Elias Samson, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. Machine of the night. Fun match with Dawson and Wilder using dirty tricks to avoid getting in the ring with Enzo and Cass. Crowd was hot for this one.   Post match, the four babyfaces danced for the crowd, to the amusement of everyone.

- Hugo Knox def. Tucker Knight. Decent match. Knox has good agility and Knight is a decent big man. Nothing spectacular, but given who was involved, that's ok.

- Dasha introduces another Tough Enough competitor, Daria, The Jersey Devil. Before Daria can speak, she is interrupted by Nia Jax. Jax threatens to give Daria a taste of what happened to Bayey. Daria isn't afraid and asks for a ref. This leads to....

- Nia Jax def. Daria. Mostly a squash. Daria, a former MMA fighter, competes in fight shorts and sports bra, just like most female MMA fighters do. Jax dominated the match, minus one hope spot where Daria locked on an armbar.

- Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, and Tye Dillinger def. Baron Corbin, Riddick Moss, and King Constantine. Decent enough match, especially considering who was involved on the heel side. Moss got a lot of work in this match and it was his first main event. Still, the faces got the big win to send the crowd home happy. See the notes below for more on Constantine.

Notes:

- King Constantine is developmental talent Radomir Petkovic. He is from Serbia, is 6'9", and looks like he's chiseled our of granite. He didn't do much in the match except hit a few forearms and shoulder blocks. He casts an intimidating presence though. If you're wondering who the next big monster in NXT will be, he looks the part.

- With her match against Nia Jax, Daria made her official in ring debut for NXT. She also makes history as the first competitor from the 2015 season of Tough Enough to have a match while under the NXT banner.

- With the name change to Bronson Mathews, it appears Josh has also dropped The Yeti persona.

- The meet and greet before the show was with Billie Kay, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder.
