With Genesis in the rear view window and Turning Point on the horizon, it is time to give thanks for Total Nonstop Action wrestling and what they have done over the last year. What is next for Samoa Joe since his undefeated streak finally ended on Sunday night when he tapped out to Kurt Angle? Will the Latin American Exchange surrender the tag team titles, as they were ordered to do so by Jim Cornette despite successfully defending the titles against America's Most Wanted? Will we hear from the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion Abyss after he benefited from the "Jarrett Rule" and won the title due to Sting's disqualification? Will we see the Voodoo Kin Mafia's trip to Connecticut this week? Who will be the number one contender for the NWA Title to face Abyss at Turning Point? Will the problems between Christopher Daniels and A.J. Styles escalate to the point where they will need to see a counselor?

Tonight's show starts off with a video package from the Genesis pay per view including Jim Cornette's comments that LAX has until tonight to turn over the belt; Abyss winning the NWA World Title despite being sent into barbed wire boards; and Kurt Angle defeating Samoa Joe.

The NWA World Heavyweight Champion Abyss comes to the ring with James Mitchell. James Mitchell says that he stands before everyone like a proud father with the NWA Champion, his monster Abyss. He tried to tell Sting that it was better to laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints, and who is crying now. At Genesis, despite all of Sting's preaching about dignity and righteousness, Sting proved that he is no different than him or Abyss. He says that it is time for Sting to be honest for once in his life. He got into the wrestling game for all of the exquisite pleasures it can provide you, and once you have eaten that fruit, you cannot put it back. At Genesis, Sting walked down a path that he once knew so well. It is now time for Sting to come home for good, and they will keep the light on and welcome him home with open arms.

The lights go out and Sting comes to the ring. Abyss and James Mitchell leave the ring when Sting enters the ring. It is not really Sting as Christian Cage reveals himself to be the man under the mask and jacket. Christian wonders if this is what he has to do to get his title shot. Does he need to come out and embarrass himself on prime time by dressing like a moron complete with pompadour? Christian says that he is not waiting for Sting to take his rematch against the new heavyweight champion, the masked retard Abyss. He says that if you want to do something right, you have to do it yourself. Christian wonders what would happen to Sting's number one contender spot if he does not make it to Turning Point.

The lights go down again and this time Sting rappels from the ceiling. Sting has a mic along with his bat. Sting says that he will get his rematch and he will walk over Christian to get it. He challenges Christian to a match tonight and he says that he is in a really bad mood tonight. Sting enters the ring and Christian leaves.

Christian says that he could care less about Christian's mood swings, the fans, or the plight of the three-toed sloth. The only thing he cares about is himself. If Sting wants to face Christian, why not put the number one contender spot on the line? Sting agrees.

As we go through the Impact Zone, we see Eric Young dressed up in a turkey costume.

We go to the parking area and we see Kurt Angle emerge from a vehicle as we go to commercial.

We are back with a video package for the upcoming arrival of Serotonin to TNA.

Match Number One: A.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels versus The Naturals (with Shane Douglas)
Douglas attacks Daniels and Stevens joins in the attack. Douglas runs Daniels' eyes across the top rope before they double team Daniels. Douglas keeps Styles out of the ring while Stevens with a snap mare and kick to Daniels' back. Stevens with a back breaker to Daniels and then he punches Styles off the apron one more time. Douglas rubs Daniels' face into the mat as they continue to work over the X Division champion. Daniels ducks a double team move by the Naturals and Styles hits a springboard double clothesline on Douglas and Stevens. Styles with punches to Douglas and Stevens followed by a spin kick to Douglas. Daniels gets Stevens up for a belly-to-back suplex and Styles adds a flying clotheslines. Daniels and Styles with the double goozle to Douglas and Styles sends Stevens off the apron. Daniels with a uranage to Douglas followed by a frog splash from Styles and then Daniels hits the BME for the three count.

Winners: Christopher Daniels and A.J. Styles

After the match, Rhino comes to the ring and he raises Daniels and Styles' hands. We cut to the stage in front of the Chute of Heelish Impact where we see Alex Shelley, The Austin Starr, and Senshi. We cut to the stage in front of the Chute of Facial Impact where Jerry Lynn is with Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt. Styles leaves the ring and yells at Rhino as he walks to the back.

Don West talks about Samoa Joe's request for a rematch and Kurt Angle's refusal to shake Joe's hand as we see the footage from Genesis. Don also talks about how they are waiting for LAX to arrive to see if they will surrender the tag titles as Jim Cornette ordered at Genesis. Eric Young stops by in a turkey costume and then he runs to the back. Mike talks about the Voodoo Kin Mafia and we go to a video feature of the Voodoo Kin Mafia in Stamford for "Operation: Cease and Desist". They talk about going to "The Target" of the WWE headquarters. We go to commercial.

We are back and Jim Cornette is in the ring. He says that he is here because he demanded the return of TNA property, the NWA World Tag Titles belt. First, he wants to talk about a man who has made an impact in the LAX situation. He brings out Petey Williams and Petey has an American flag with him. Jim says that he wanted Petey to come out because of what happened with the flag and LAX. Petey showed his loyalties and that his true colors are red, white, and blue. Petey says that everyone knows that he is a Canadian citizen and that he has had problems with the fans and the United States. He knew where LAX was going and he said that he needed to protect the flag. Jim Cornette has the flag raised for the National Anthem, but they are interrupted by LAX's arrival into the Impact Zone.

LAX is accompanied by a man in a suit. Cornette wants to know if they are here to return the title belts. Konnan says that they did not come here to turn over the tag titles; they came here to serve Jim Cornette with papers. Konnan says that TNA violated their First Amendment rights and he says that they are going to use their system against them. Petey says that he is going to serve Konnan and he goes after Konnan and Homicide. Hernandez attacks Williams and then Hernandez presses Williams over his head and then he drops Williams across Homicide's knee. Hernandez and Homicide continue to attack Williams, but America's Most Wanted and Gail Kim come to the ring to help Petey. Harris attacks Hernandez while Gail Kim hits a cross body on Homicide. Konnan pulls Gail down by the hair and Homicide and Konnan work over Storm while Harris protects Gail Kim. Kurt Angle comes out and he hits German suplexes on Homicide and Hernandez.

Samoa Joe's music plays and he comes out. Angle tells everyone to leave the ring so he can confront Joe one-on-one and we go to commercial.

We are back and Joe is in the ring and he says that for eighteen months, he did something that has not been done in modern wrestling. He was undefeated. He says that he knew that inevitably, he would look across the ring and a better man would have their hand raised and he is able to admit that. Joe says that his only consolation is that he lost to a man who has been a champion everywhere he has been. He lost to a fierce competitor. He lost to an Olympic Gold Medalist. Joe says that was one night and he poses Angle with the same question that he asked him on Sunday. He wants to know if Angle will give him a rematch. Angle thinks for a second and he tells Joe that he made him fight for his life. He will give him a rematch on one condition. That condition is that Joe makes sure that nothing happens to Angle before Turning Point; and that Angle makes sure that nothing happens to Joe before Turning Point. If they have each others backs, then he has a rematch.

We go to the next segment of the Voodoo Kin Mafia in Stamford. BG says that they will no longer put the fans through stupid segments. BG yells at the GPS when it tells them to make a turn. They are out of their Voodoo Kin Mobile and they are at a Target. BG yells at Kip for being at a Target, not THE Target.

Eric Young is in the crowd again in the turkey costume as we go to Jeremy Borash at the TNA Spotlight.

Jeremy talks about TNA's show this Saturday night in Monterrey. He also talks about the Best of the X Division DVD twin-pack that is available at Wal-Marts. He also talks about the 50 Greatest Moments DVD. Jeremy moves on to Turning Point on December 10th.

Robert Roode is in the ring with Traci Brooks and he sees Eric in the suit. He calls Young an idiot for running around in that ridiculous turkey suit. He calls Young an embarrassment to this sport. With all of the talk about rematches, Robert Roode wants his rematch with Eric Young. He says that everyone knows that Eric had to cheat to win. He wants Young to get into the ring right now. We go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Robert Roode (with Ms. Traci Brooks) versus Eric Young
Roode attacks Young while Eric is still in the crowd and brings him into the ringside area. Roode sends Young into the guardrails before rolling Eric into the ring. Roode punches Young and back body drops Young. Roode punches Young and kicks him in the corner. Young with an Irish whip and a running clothesline that knocks the turkey down. Roode puts Young on the top turnbuckle as he sets for a super belly-to-belly suplex. Young knocks Roode off and he tries for a moonsault, but Roode moves and Young hits the mat hard. Roode tries for a piledriver, but Young blocks the hold and he gets a rollup for the three count.

Winner: Eric Young

After the match, Robert Roode gets a mic and he yells at Traci Brooks wondering what is going on. Roode yells at Traci for coming out each week to flaunt her body, and that is not the reason why he hired her. He says that he is hottest free agent in wrestling, but he is a joke. They do not love him, they love Eric Young. He cheats, they cheer. He walks around in a turkey costume, and they cheer. Roode suggests that if Eric Young ran for President he would win. Roode suggests that Eric Young could beat Traci in a bikini contest. Roode leaves the ring.

We go to the X Division meeting that was called by Kevin Nash. Nash says that they need to recreate and re-brand the X Division. He shows a banner for the PCS: Paparazzi Championship Series. They are going to find the greatest X Division wrestler of all time. Nash says that there is going to be testing. Nash and Dutt have some words. Nash wants everyone to hold hands. Nash, Shelley, and Starr hold hands while singing Cumbaya. Dutt and Lethal leave the room.

Jim Cornette joins Don and Mike at the announce position for the main event.

2006 - Ring of Honor ran Lake Grove, LI.  Mike Johnson filed the following live report:

Ring of Honor returned to Lake Grove, Long Island before about 500 fans for their final event in the area for 2006, featuring the following results:

*In a Four Corner SHIMMER Women's Athlete Bout, Lacey pinned Allison Danger in a in a bout that also featured Daizee Haze and the debuting Nikki Roxx. There was a great sequence with Danger and Roxx rolling across the ring while reversing a foorward roll pinfall attempt. This was a really good match. The girls were chopping the heck out of each other.

*ROH brought back the Gauntlet Series, which started with Brent Albright forcing Pelle Primeau to tap out to the Crowbar. Pelle took two sick powerbombs. Albright then forced Jason Blade to tap out. BJ Whitmer pinned Albright. Jimmy Jacobs got a quick roll-up on BJ. They then had a competitive bout between Nigel McGuinness and Jacobs, with McGuinness going over. Albright looked really good early when the focus was on him looking impressive.

*ROH Tag Team champions Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli defeated Austin Aries and Roderick Strong. They brawled all over the building to open the show. Shingo Takagi interfered (playing off a FIP storyline), putting Strong through a table, setting up the pin.

*Shingo Takagi pinned Mark Briscoe with a facebuster.

*Jimmy Rave pinned Homicide with a rollup. The Briscoes attacked Homicide, with Samoa Joe hitting the ring for the save, setting up Joe defeating Jay Briscoe in a short but good match with the muscle buster.

*In the best match of the night, Matt Sydal and Christopher Daniels defeated Davey Richards and Delirious after Daniels hit the Best Moonsault Ever followed by a Sydal shooting star press. The match seemed to be designed to give Sydal, Richards, and Delirious the chance to work as top level talents and establish themselves as such. Allison Danger brought back the cheerleader outfit, which was beyond awesome. Great stuff here.

NOTES: This was a departure from the typical ROH "all out event" with more of a house show feel. From a storyline standpoint, this was the company taking a breath before hitting the ground running for their next sprint...Former WWF champion Mick Foley, who lives in the immediate area, was backstage visiting...ROH champion Bryan Danielson missed the show as he's currently on tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH....The promotion will return to Long Island on 4/13/07. Tickets for the first four rows were sold out by the end of intermission... Since so much of the Long Island audience is made up of families, a number of the ROH regulars spent time outside the locker room during intermission and after the show signing free autographs for kids in attendance. The SHIMMER girls also signed free autographs for anyone purchasing SHIMMER DVDs during intermission....Pre-show match results featuring ROH students saw Mitch Franklin defeat Alex "Sugarfoot" Payne, Bobby Dempsey defeat Ernie Osiris, and Shane Hagadorn retained the Top of the Class Trophy defeating Rhett Titus.

2008 - WWE broadcast Raw.  Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:

Last night, Superman returned to the ring and he vanquished Chris Jericho to win the World Title. While one other champion had a solid showing, the other three champions on the Raw brand did not fare too well. You will have to wait until Friday night for discussion of the big return to the ring. We may have seen the formation of a new super group after the success of Team Shawn Michaels with Rey Mysterio, Great Khali, and Shawn being the survivors at the end of their match against The Bedazzlers (Paul Miller deserves credit for this one). What will happen tonight as we start the build to Armageddon and the Royal Rumble? Will we see anybody debut or return tonight? Will we see any John Cena video packages showing footage of his triumphant return from the Fortress of Solitude?

We start off tonight with Shane McMahon arriving at the building and he sees Cryme Tyme and he asks Shane to ark his car. Shane hugs Kelly and then he gives his jacket to Dolph Ziggler.

Randy Orton is added to the match and it is a Triple Threat Match. Stephanie says that she would have told Shane earlier, but she knows how much she loves surprises.

Shane and Stephanie have a conversation that cannot be heard by the people in the building or on television. Stephanie says that we will see The Miz and John Morrison against Shawn Michaels and Rey Mysterio.

Stephanie tells Shane that this is her show and she tells him that he has tried to stab her in the back before and she will not let it happen again. Shane says that Stephanie is way off base. Shane says that he is here for two reasons. First, he wants to have fun. The second is to make Raw a better show. Stephanie tells Shane if he wants this to be a better show, he should get back in his Ferrari and drive back to New York. Stephanie tells Shane that he can run the company and Stephanie can run the show. Shane asks Stephanie if she is going to run things on her own or will she sleep with someone in the back and get a new husband. They do it because they have passion. All they ask in return is that when they step in the ring, they share the passion. If not for the fans, none of this exists. Abe says that wasn’t scary. Matt asks Abe if he was ever scared and Tony comes up behind Abe and Abe screams. Abe asks Matt what he is afraid of. Matt says that he has a reoccurring nightmare that he is on the Abraham Washington Show. Matt says that when your last name is Hardy, you aren’t afraid of anything. Jackson moves Kozlov’s finger from in front of his face and he gives Kozlov a uranage. Regal walks away but Jackson gets back in Regal’s face. Jackson with a uranage to Regal as well.

2011 - TNA broadcast a Thanksgiving edition of TNA Impact Wrestling.  Stu Carapola filed the following TV report:

We start off with a video package recapping last week when James Storm discovered Bobby Roode wasn't the one who attacked him backstage, and he then spent the rest of the episode searching for his true attacker, accusing AJ Styles before being attacked by Kurt Angle. Speaking of Angle, he kicks off this week's show by coming out to the ring for our opening promo. He says he didn't attack Storm from behind in Macon, Storm just didn't see him coming. Storm's music hits and he comes out to inform Angle he's going to stick his size 12 cowboy boot up Angle's ass. Storm said it was personal when Angle came to the company and they used to travel together to the show, it was personal when their kids started playing together, but now it's business. If Angle wants to look a man in the eyes and whoop his ass, go ahead and do it right now. Angle says Storm screwed him out of his World Title, so all he wanted to do was get revenge by screwing him out of the title two weeks ago. Storm says the fans are tired of listening to people talk (he takes off his hat and jacket and takes a chug of his beer) so he hopes Angle doesn't take this personally, but he's going to whoop his ass right now. Angle says he's a gentleman and doesn't want to fight, but he knows some guys who want to fight right now. Christopher Daniels, Bully Ray, and Jeff Jarrett come out and surround Storm while Angle eggs him on and asks Storm what he's going to do. Angle told Storm to tell his daughter that he was the one who gave him a concussion, so he did and his daughter told him to give Angle this (this being a punch in the face). AJ Styles, Ken Anderson, and Rob Van Dam run in to even the odds and a big brawl breaks out to set up the main event elimination match.

Earlier today, Eric Young was riding around the parking lot on a scooter with referee Rudy Charles. They stop so Rudy can open a cooler and pull out a giant turkey suit. Can't wait to see what this is about.

We go back to last week when Sting put Matt Morgan and Crimson togetherso they could challenge (and beat) Mexican America for the World Tag Team Title. And speaking of those teams...

World Tag Team Title Match: Matt Morgan & Crimson vs Mexican America

All heck breaks loose from the moment the champs get into the ring, and Morgan destroys Anarquia, tossing him across the ring and laying him out with a lariat. Crimson comes in and gives Anarquia a Snake Eyes followed by a big running forearm. Crimson with an inverted FU and then tags back out to Morgan, who easily gets Anarquia up for a running powerslam. Morgan hits the Carbon Footprint on Hernandez to knock him off the apron, then Crimson comes in and the champs give Anarquia a double shoulder tackle. Morgan and Crimson with a double chokeslam for an extremely easy first title defense.

Winners: Matt Morgan & Crimson

This was awesome, Morgan and Crimson make a great monster team and hopefully they'll do with them what they should have done with Morgan and Hernandez.

Eric Young and Rudy Charles walk in on Robbie E and Robbie T backstage looking for a rematch tonight. Robbie E turns him down of course, so Young tells Robbie he talked to Sting and they're going to have a Turkey Suit Challenge tonight where the loser has to wear a turkey suit. Oh, come on. Rudy Charles isn't on the VIP list, so he tells Robbie T to eject him. Young tells Robbie E that Sting said he had to do the match tonight or he'll be stripped of the title. Robbie E stalks off saying this is ridiculous, and I can't help but agree.

Karen Jarrett and Traci Brooks are backstage, and they're...WALKING!

We look at last week when Mickie James beat 372 other women to win the Knockouts Gauntlet for a shot at the Knockouts Title at Final Resolution, then we head out to the arena where Karen Jarrett brings her entire crew out for PROMO TIME OMG!!! Karen tells Velvet Sky, Brooke Tessmacher, and Tara to come out to the ring right now to tell them that despite her efforts to get them to cover up, the horny freaks in the audience want to see them and think they're real athletes and real wrestlers. Karen says there's only one real athlete around here and that's Gail Kim, so tonight, we're going to have the first ever lingerie ball, soon to become a Thanksgiving tradition. Karen wants them to go backstage, get their skimpiest pieces of lingerie, and bring them out here. Karen says she ought to be used to it from when she slides down her pole and people stuff dollar bills down her bottom. If any of them have a problem with it, they know where the door is.

Christy goes backstage to the Knockouts locker room where, in one of the funniest segments ever on Impact, Velvet Sky, Tara, and Brooke Tessmacher act appalled at the idea of going out to the ring in their lingerie. REALLY?? Oh, and it gets better: Karen Jarrett just renamed the match the Thanksgiving Thong Thunder. Gail Kim shares her thoughts on how awesome Karen is when Mickie storms in and demands to talk to Gail in private. So they walk behind a door they leave just open enough so we can follow them and hear Mickie yell at Gail for coming in and setting the division back ten years when she thought she'd come in and have a positive influence. Gail says that if Mickie doesn't like it, to go give Karen her notice. Mickie calls Gail a hypocrite, so Gail goes after her and then Madison runs in so they can beat Mickie down 2-on-1 until Gail tells Madison to get out of her way so she can kick her ass by herself and call her trash.

Okay, time for our real main event of the evening...

Thanksgiving Thong Thunder: Madison Rayne, Angelina Love & Winter vs Velvet Sky, Brooke Tessmacher, & Tara

We start the match with Brooke, who was disgusted with the entire idea of this match, climbing up in the corner and tearing her nightshirt open to reveal her skivvies. Then Tara does it and looks really pleased with herself. The heels climb the corner to display their merchandise, and then Velvet loses her nightshirt as well to show off her own eveningwear with a big smile on her face. The heels finally have enough and jump the babyfaces, dumping Velvet and Tessmacher while Winter chokes Tara with her boot. Winter runs Tara into the corner and follows in with a charging clothesline as we go to commercial.

Okay, we're back and Tara is destroying Winter with clotheslines and a big bodyslam before doing the ass shaking standing moonsault for 2. Tessmacher comes in and gives Winter the assface in the corner, then gives her a series of armdrags and a dropkick. Winter lands in her corner and she tags in Madison, who nails Tessmacher from behind and chokes her out in the corner with her boot. Brooke dodges a corner charge, but gets dumped on the back of her head while Taz calls Madison's outfit low end. I seriously cannot believe I'm watching this. Winter comes in with a side backbreaker for 2 and then tags out to Angelina for a running clothesline in the corner for another 2. Tessmacher with an inside cradle (since Taz doesn't like saying small package in a Knockouts match), but that only gets 2 so they do a double spinning bulldog and they're both down...but not out! Brooke makes the hot tag (which you can say in matches like this) and Velvet comes in to go to town on the heel group. Velvet with a bulldog on Madison and she goes for the Pedigree, but Winter breaks it up so Tara runs in and tackles her. They fight it out in one corner, Velvet and Angelina go at it in another corner, and the babyfaces take out the heels with a triple clothesline. Everyone else fights out on the floor as Madison hitsVelvet from behind and does her knee neckbreaker thing, but instead of going for the win, she grabs her title belt from the outside and goes to hit Velvet with it, but Mickie James runs out and grabs the belt, allowing Velvet to hit the Pedigree for the win.

Winners: Velvet Sky, Tara & Brooke Tessmacher

The really perpelexing thing about what was designed to be a purely gratuitous T&A segment (on TNA) actually turned out to be a really good match, maybe the best Knockouts match on Impact inas long as I can remember. Sometimes this company just makes my head spin.

Jeff Hardy is backstage, and he's...wearing some weird mask. Okay.

Karen is backstage chewing out all the Knockouts because she told them to wear less, and they did, but Karen's still not satisfied, so she's making them fight again next week and this time, she's bringing the outfits. That pounding sound you hear is my head cracking against the wall.

Jeff Hardy comes out in his stupid new mask, but then takes it off and reveals he's actually Jeff Jarrett. He pretends to be Jeff and calls himself the Charismatic Enema, he takes asinine chance in his matches, he does these dynamic promos, and he does it for the fans, who love him because they can relate to him being a worthless loser and a degenerate. He wants the fans to grow up and humiliate and embarrass the company they work for just like him. Hardy's music hits again and this time the genuine article runs out and goes after Jarrett, just destroying him until Immortal runs out and attack him 3-on-1. The opponents in the main event run out to even the odds, and another brawl breaks out until security runs in to separate them. Jarrett and Hardy go to the outside where Jarrett rams Hardy into the ring steps and then does it again for laughs.

We now go to a video package hyping the Turkey Suit Match like it's the damn main event of Wrestlemania, as we look back at other folks who have been unfortunate enough to wear the suit, and then it's off to the ring for Main Event #2...

Turkey Suit Challenge: Robbie E vs Eric Young

Eric Young introduces the man, the mth, the legend himself: Rudy Charles, who comes out to the ring carrying the suit and being identified by the graphic as "Rudy Charles: Referee & Turkey Man". Young takes the suit and crams it down Robbie's throat, but Robbie suckerpunches him and they head into the ring...with the turkey suit, which Robbie stomps several timesbefore giving it an elbowdropand throwing it at the referee. Robbie sends Young to the ropes and hits a Russian Legsweep for 1, then comes off the second rope with a fistdrop for 2, with the referee using the turkey to make the count. The referee puts the turkey in the corner while Young and Robbie slug it out in the middle of the ring, and Young takes control with a running forearm and a clothesline. Young leapfrogs Robbie and hits a nice belly to belly suplex for 2. Robbie T hands Robbie E something from the outside and Robbie uses it to knock Young out and make the cover for 3.

Winner: Robbie E

Robbie makes the stupid mistake of hiding it under his armpit, which NEVER EVER WORKS, so when the referee raises his hand, the object falls to the mat so the referee can see it, get all mad, and restart the match. Robbie shoves the referee around until the referee shoves him back. Robbie gets flustered and goes after the referee, and Young capitalizes by giving Robbie the patented Kurt Angle Attack From Behind and then a piledriver for the win.

Actual Winner: Eric Young

Young takes a microphone and says it's Thanksgiving and it's a time to give, so first the bad news: looks like Robbie won't be able to wear the turkey suit tonight. The good news is that with the fans' help and his keen intuition, they can find a replacement. He turns the turkey suit into a metal detector and beeps more and more rapidly until he comes to Robbie T, and we all know where this is going. Rudy Charles says by the power invested in him by the Stinger, Robbie T has to wear the turkey suit and if he doesn't, Robbie E will be stripped of the TV Title. Young leads the crowd in a chant of "turkey" as Rob Terry takes the damn suit and puts it on. This really is the damndest wrestling show I think I've ever watched.

We go backstage where Rudy Charles tells Eric Young it was great to be back on TV, and that they have to start training because there's only 365 days until next Thanksgiving. Young thanks the fans for tuning in as he jogs while Rudy Charles rides around behind him on a bicycle before crashing face first into the back of a truck. Why.

Okay, it's main event time (for the normal people watching this)!

Elimination Match: Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles, Ken Anderson & Rob Van Dam vs Bully Ray, Christopher Daniels, Jeff Jarrett & Bobby Roode

Looks like Jeff Hardy was taken out by that earlier attack, so the babyfaces go into the match 4-on-3, with James Storm and Kurt Angle at ringside. Instead of going to the ring, Roode goes over to the broadcast booth to loosen up, so it's going to be functionally 3-on-3 until Roode comes in whenever. Speaking of Styles, he starts off with Daniels and they go back and forth until AJ just stomps Daniels out in the corner and then hits the snapmare/kick/flying kneedrop combo. Jarrett tags in and gets hiptosses across the ring where Anderson tags in to go at it with the Founder. Anderson with a pair of hiptosses and an elbowdrop for 2. Bubba tags in and hits a vertical suplex for 2, then Daniels comes in with a leg lariat for 2. Anderson gets Daniels up and hits a Finlay Roll for 2, then drags Daniels to the corner and tags in Rob Van Dam, who lays Daniels out with the stepover leg lariat for 2. Daniels rams RVD to the corner and tags out to Jarrett, who LAUNCHES Van Dam hard into the corner before tagging out to Bubba, who gets a 2 count on RVD and then goes to a chinlock. Bubba yanks RVD down by the hair and then the heel team tag in and out while working RVD over until RVD dodges a charge and tags out to Anderson, who comes in and goes at it with Bubba. Anderson with clotheslines, a back elbow, and a spinning neckbreaker for 2. Anderson picks Bubba up in a fireman's carry, but Bubba slips out and flattens Anderson with a clothesline and a Rock Bottom. Now Roode runs down to the ring, tags himself in, and pins Anderson.

Ken Anderson is eliminated.

Styles comes in and goes after Roode like a madman, hitting a big backdrop, leaping forearm in the corner, and a high impact clothesline. Roode responds by punching Styles in the groin and gets himself disqualified.

Bobby Roode is eliminated.

We go to commercial and come back to Daniels hitting a snap suplex on AJ and then tagging out to Bubba and Jarrett, who come in with a big double delayed vertical suplex on AJ. AJ tries to fight his way to the corner, but Bubba picks him up and dumps him back into the heel corner. Daniels tags in and goes for Angel's Wings, but AJ counters to a Frankensteiner and a Pelle Kick and makes the hot tag to RVD. Van Dam comes in and goes to town on Daniels, laying him out with a thrust kick before taking out Jarrett and Bubba as well. RVD with a springboard thrust kick and Rolling Thunder on Daniels and then he pops up to the top rope for the Five Star Frog Splash, but Angle hops onto the apron and shoves Van Dam off the turnbuckle and onto the top rope. Storm chases Angle off, but Daniels rolls RVD up for 3.

Rob Van Dam is eliminated.

AJ's in a tough spot now, and gets taken out by a clothesline from Daniels, who then chokes him out with his boot. Bubba comes in and nearly launches AJ into the crowd with a backdrop, then tags in Daniels and tells him to give AJ the moonsault. Daniels hits the uranage and goes up for the BME, but AJ gets his boot up in the face of Daniels, who quickly tags out to Jarrett, but when Jarrett and Bubba try to sandwich AJ with clotheslines, AJ ducks and they take each other out. Everyone's down, and Jeff Hardy's music hits. He staggers out and tags in, laying Daniels out with an inverted enziguiri and giving him the Twist of Fate for 3.

Christopher Daniels is eliminated.

Hardy catches Jarrett with a small package and immediately pins him.

Jeff Jarrett is eliminated.

Instead of leaving, Jarrett helps Bubba double team Hardy, who makes a blind tag to AJ, and AJ comes in and lays Bubba out with a springboard forearm and covers him for the win. So I guess that means...

Winners: AJ Styles & Jeff Hardy

Bobby Roode runs back out and lays both Hardy and AJ out with the World Title belt and then stands on AJ's chest while raising his hands and holding up the title belt, then gets right in AJ's face and yells "YOU CAN'T BEAT ME, AJ! YOU CAN'T BEAT ME!" Really good match to end the show.

2014 - WWE broadcast Raw. Richard Trionfo filed the following TV report:

Last night, a Man Called Sting made his WWE debut and he made quite an impact. He prevented Triple H from giving Team Authority a tainted victory in the main event of the Survivor Series.

We are in Indianapolis, Indiana and your announcers are Michael Cole, John Layfield, and Jerry Lawler.

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon make their way to the ring in their role as people who have jobs at WWE Headquarters, but no role with the television product any more.

Stephanie says that they expected this kind of reaction from you people tonight because none of you know the meaning of the word respect. None of you understand the courage needed to come out here. None of you understand what it means to be a leader and stand in the face of all of this adversity and take responsibility for your actions. That is why they are out here tonight.

Team Authority would have won if it wasn’t for one man. One man who never set foot in a WWE ring before. One man who changed the face of WWE history forever. That man was Sting.

Because of Sting, the Authority is out of power. Because of her father, the Chairman and CEO of this company, the only person who can reinstate them is John Cena. They stand here not as losers, but as leaders. As winners because at the end of the day, they have their corporate responsibility. They might not have influence over the superstars and divas, but they have each other.

Stephanie says that she hopes everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving with their families because . . .

Hunter takes the mic from his crying wife. He asks if you are enjoying seeing them humbled and humiliated.

Hunter says that they are bullies. Stephanie tells everyone to look in the mirror. Hunter tells everyone to cheer because the Authority is out of power. Hunter says to be careful what you wish for. He knows that there is no one here who can handle that power. They live in a world . . . a universe governed by the laws of finance and commerce. Supply and demand are things you know nothing about. It takes a leader who is willing to do what is best for business. Not to make decisions based on what is popular. Who will make these decisions now? Is it going to be John Cena? Dolph Ziggler? Maybe it will be Sting?

Hunter tells Sting that he is not sure why he decided to come out here and stick your painted face in their business. Maybe it was a chance to stand in the ring with him for thirty seconds to make your career relevant. Your first night in a WWE ring is your last night in a WWE ring.

You ensured the Authority would not be in power, but you also ensured the demise of this company. Hunter says that it will be two or three weeks for this company. They have a greater responsibility than you can ever fathom. You cheer for Team Cena and you curse Team Authority because you have that luxury. What we did for all of you is what it takes to make the WWE thrive. What seems grotesque to you is what it takes to maintain that juggernaut. Who makes these decisions now? There is no John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, or Ryback without the Authority. Without the Authority, there is no you.

Hunter wants to know what are you going to do on a Monday night when Raw doesn’t exist. Are you going to sit on a couch and live with your pathetic memories. He wishes everyone luck. He wants everyone to cheer.

You will beg for the Authority to come back.

Daniel Bryan’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Daniel stands in front of Hunter and he Yeses for him. Then he does the same to Stephanie.

Hunter and Stephanie leave the ring and Daniel chases them down to Yes in front of them.

Daniel returns to the ring and he yeses some more.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Daniel Bryan is still in the ring.

Daniel says that it feels good to be in this ring tonight. Daniel says that having the ability to kick the Authority out of the ring felt good too. What about Team Authority?

Daniel says that he has been put in charge of running Raw tonight. Daniel says that with the small amount of power that he has, he wants Team Authority to come out before you. Just because they lost last night doesn’t mean they are bad people. He brings out Team Authority.

They make their way to the stage.

Daniel says he is not a spiteful person. He will not take titles away or put you in unfair matches.

Seth Rollins . . . you are used to competing in handicap matches where you were always in those situations. Tonight will be no different. You will team with two other superstars to face John Cena and the man who single handedly defeated the Authority and changed the course of WWE history . . . Dolph Ziggler.

Cena and Dolph are always up for a challenge so it will be a three on two match.

Seth wants to know if Daniel controls the microphones too because he is having trouble saying something. Seth says that whether you like it or not, he is still the future of this company. There is nothing you can do about that. He wants to know what the deal is. Who is he being teamed up with. Is it going to be Hornswoggle, El Torito, JBL, or Cole.

Daniel says that he is not teaming Seth up with anybody, the WWE Universe is.

The options are A) Mark Henry and Luke Harper. A strong team. B) Mark Henry and Kane. Another strong team. C) Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury.

Seth does not like the option but Daniel tells him the show must go on.

Seth goes to the back with Mercury and Noble.

Daniel wants to talk to his good ole buddy Corporate Kane. What would Dr. Shelby think now? As Director Of Operations, you would be off that path. If he was in charge, you wouldn’t have that job. Wait a minute, he is in charge. Should Kane be the Director of Operations? The people say no.

Show says that he is a human being. A human being that made a mistake. Human beings make mistakes all the time. No one watching this cannot say that they have never made a mistake.

Show says not to misunderstand what happened. Show says he despises the Authority. They took his house and made him do terrible things to people he respected. People like Daniel Bryan. Physically he was strong. He is a giant. He was not asked to be born this way. He says that he has a medical condition that makes him this large and freakishly powerful. On the inside he is like all of you. He has fears. He has a family to provide for and you know what you would do for your family.

Last night at Survivor Series, he made a snap decision and he panicked. He surveyed the scene. Dolph Ziggler was unconscious and John Cena could barely stay on his feet. He saw three healthy guys across the ring. Show thought his team would lose so he did what he thought he should do.

Forget what happened at Survivor Series and pretend that it never happened.
