For those who have asked, we are told the Sting injury last night in the closing minutes of his match against Seth Rollins was legitimate. The word making the way among wrestlers last night is that it was either a neck or a spinal injury but that is NOT officially confirmed at this time.

I believe Sting went for medical tests either last night or this morning and he and WWE are likely still awaiting an official diagnosis. At 56 years old, a major injury could indeed be one that ends his career. There were a lot of people in the company who felt really bad he got hurt as he's been considered great to work with internally.

Originally, Sting was not scheduled for Raw but I was told that over the course of the weekend, those plans had changed. However, with whatever the injury is, whether he is on the show or not is up in the air and I'd assume that whatever role he does have (if he appears) will be non-physical.
