WWE NXT REPORT: DUSTY RHODES CLASSIC CONTINUES, A VINTAGE EVENT CENTER, WE HAVE A MAIN EVENT FOR TAKEOVER

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Rich Brennan, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves.

We see what happened last week when Tyler Breeze and Bull Dempsey lost to Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa as well as Tyler’s post match attack on the man behind BullFit.

Adam Rose says it is official that the WWE Universe laid a big poop on the Adam Rose party. It is now his turn to take a big hot steaming poop on yours. Adam reminds us who he is and he says there is no more fun allowed.

Bull Dempsey comes out and he appreciates the people cheering positively for him. He says that Breeze looks surprised that he is here. The attack last week was no accident. What he is going to do to Breeze now is no accident. He will wish it was an accident because he is going to be beat him so bad.

Tyler tells Bull to hold on. First, what makes you think you can interrupt what is going on.

Bull lays on the turnbuckles like Tyler does.

Tyler tells Bull if you want to talk about accidents, the only one he remembers was the two of them being paired together last week. The other one was . . . the day that you were born.

Bull asks Tyler if he came up with that on his own.

Tyler says he did and he says that Bull cost him the Dusty Rhodes Classic and there is nothing more that he would like to do is beat him, but he is in the middle of a match.

Bull asks Adam to do him a favor and give him the ring.

Adam says that he is not here for Bull, he is here to poop on Tyler’s party for what happened a few months ago. Then he is going to poop on Bull’s party.

Adam slaps Bull. Bull says that he was going to be nice but he will take care of him. Bull hits Adam and then sends Adam to the floor. Bull goes for the body block but Breeze goes to the floor.

Bull says he wants a match and he wants Breeze back in the ring.

Rich mentions that we will see a second round match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic featuring Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano against Baron Corbin and Rhyno.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tyler Breeze shushes the camera man because he is going to respond to Bull. He says that he does not turn down a fight, so he will face Bull next week.

Match Number One: Tye Dillinger versus Danny Burch

They lock up and Burch with a wrist lock into an arm bar. Burch holds on to the wrist lock. Dillinger with a reversal and he locks up the arm and applies a modified abdominal stretch. Dillinger with an arm drag and he gives himself a ten.

Burch with a side head lock. Dillinger with a cartwheel around Burch and he gives himself a ten. Dillinger with a drop toe hold but Burch with an elbow and European uppercut. Burch mocks Dillinger and gives himself a ten. Burch with a key lock. Dillinger with a hammer lock and a short arm clothesline. Dillinger with a side Russian leg sweep and he stomps on Burch’s head.

Dillinger pulls down the knee pad and he hits a falling knee strike to the head and he gets the three count.

Winner: Tye Dillinger

Baron Corbin and Rhyno are in the back and they are asked if they are worried about an upset. Rhyno says they did bust the bracket but Rhyno says he is worried about what they are going to do in the ring. Corbin says this is built on respect. He does not know where they came from or who they are. They are going to win this tournament.

We see a video for Asuka, who will be on NXT next week.

Match Number Two: Apollo Crews versus Solomon Crowe

They shake hands and lock up. Crews sends Crowe to the mat and then Crews poses. Crowe with a waist lock but Crews with a standing switch. Crowe with a take down and Crews with a head scissors. Crews with a side head lock and Crowe with a head scissors. They lock up and Crews with a wrist lock and Crowe with a forearm. Crews floats over and he hits a drop kick. Crews with a kick.

Crews picks up Crowe from the mat and hits a suplex. Crowe goes to the floor and the referee holds Crews back. Crowe tries for a punch but Crews blocks it and connects with a forearm. Crews goes for a baseball slide but Crowe pulls the ring skirt to trap Crews and Crowe with punches. Crowe gets a near fall.

Crowe kicks Crews in the head and then he chokes Crews after the referee warns him. Crowe with a snap mare and kick to the back. Crowe uses Crews’ arm to choke himself. Crowe with a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Crowe with a reverse chin lock. Crews powers out of the hold and hits a jaw breaker followed by an elbow.

Crowe runs into a boot from Crews and Crews with double sledges and a Stinger Splash. Crews with a flying clothesline and enzuigiri. Crews with the Crews Combination for the three count.

Winner: Apollo Crews

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are asked about their chances tonight. Johnny says they showed that they belong in an NXT ring when they beat Breeze and Bull. Johnny says that people were shocked, but they were not shocked. Ciampa says they have earned their keep as part of the Dusty Rhodes Classic. It is an insult to say that they are being looked past. They like their chances.

Devin Taylor is with Dana Brooke and Emma. Emma tells Devin to be quiet. Emma says the champ is back and new people are here. Dana says that they decided to shake things up so they are going to show the newbies who are in charge. Dana says play time is over.

Dana pats Devin on the head and Emma says it never gets old.

Dana comes back and pats her on the head again.

We see an SUV appear at Full Sail and Sasha Banks emerges.

Kyle Edwards is here to update everyone on the status of the tournament. The final four will advance to Takeover. We are reminded that Samoa Joe and Finn Balor defeated The Lucha Dragons last week. Alexander Wolfe and Noah Kekoa lost to The Hype Bros. They will face Jason Jordan and Chad Gable. The Vaudevillains faced Blake and Murphy at a house show and the Vaudevillains advances to the second round.

The Vaudevillains versus Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson match will take place on the Texas Tour.

Match Number Three: Baron Corbin and Rhyno versus Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in a Second Round Match in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic

Rhyno and Ciampa start things off. They lock up and Rhyno misses a punch and Ciampa with a chop. Rhyno pushes Ciampa down and chops him. Ciampa with chops to Rhyno along with forearms. Ciampa with a running elbow to the head but Rhyno with an elbow of his own. Ciampa with a clothesline. Gargano tags in and Ciampa with a drop toe hold and Gargano with a double stomp to the back. Corbin tries to interfere but Gargano drops down and Corbin goes to the floor. Gargano with a suicide dive onto Corbin.

Rhyno is sent to the floor and Gargano with a suicide dive onto Rhyno. Ciampa goes up top and hits a cross body onto Rhyno and Corbin. Ciampa gets a near fall. Ciampa tags Gargano back in. Gargano with a double sledge to the arm from the turnbuckles. Ciampa tags in and they Irish whip Rhyno into the corner and Ciampa with a running knee while Gargano with an enzuigiri from the apron.

Rhyno with a clothesline and Corbin tags in. Corbin runs into a boot and Ciampa leaps over Corbin but Corbin with a spinning side slam.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Corbin chokes Ciampa in the ropes and then with his boot. Rhyno tags in and punches him and connects with a forearm. Rhyno with a knee to the ribs. Ciampa with a punch but Rhyno with a kick. Ciampa with a knee. Rhyno keeps Ciampa from making the tag and he throws Ciampa into the corner. Rhyno with a shoulder in the corner and Corbin tags in. Corbin with kicks.

Rhyno tags back in and he punches Ciampa. Rhyno punches Ciampa and puts him on the turnbuckles. Rhyno climbs the turnbuckles but Ciampa with punches to knock Rhyno to the mat. Ciampa with a missile drop kick and both men are down. Corbin and Gargano tag in and Gargano with a flying clothesline and back elbow. Gargano with a drop kick and a rollup into a round kick. Gargano gets sent to the apron but Gargano with a shoulder and a slingshot DDT for a near fall.

Ciampa and Rhyno battle in the ring while Gargano fights with Corbin. Corbin with punches and Gargano leaps over Rhyno. Gargano with an enzuigiri and rollup for a near fall. Corbin with End of Days for the three count.

Winners: Rhyno and Baron Corbin (Advance to semi finals at Takeover)

Devin Taylor is with the Vaudevillains. Aiden says it would be an honor to win the Dusty Rhodes Classic. Simon says it would be great to do it as the Tag Team Champions.

Alexa Bliss enters and says it will be hard to do it with the titles since they have invoked their rematch clause. Alexa says that she got rid of Blue Pants and the tag titles are coming back to them.

Simon calls Alexa a wench after she leaves.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Nia Jax video package.

Rich announces that Bull Dempsey versus Tyler Breeze is official.

Corey mentions that the tag title rematch is official next week with Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy getting their chance against the Vaudevillains.

Bayley does a victory lap around the arena at Full Sail.

Match Number Four: Bayley versus Sarah Dobson in a Non Title Match

They lock up and Sarah with a kick and head butt. Sarah with forearms. Bayley with shots to the midsection and Sarah drops Bayley on the middle rope and Sarah follows with a cartwheel into a leg drop and she gets a near fall. Sarah with a chin lock. Dobson with a forearm and she sends Bayley into the turnbuckles. Sarah rolls through into a Guillotine with a body scissors.

Bayley gets to her feet and runs Dobson into the turnbuckles to escape. Bayley with running double sledges and Irish whip. Bayley with a running shoulder into the corner followed by a running elbow in the corner and a suplex. Bayley with the belly-to-belly suplex for the three count.

Winner: Bayley

After the match, Bayley takes the mic and she . . .

is interrupted by Sasha Banks’ music as she makes her way to the ring.

Sasha gets in Bayley’s face and she tells Bayley she is probably wondering why she is out here. She says she did not come out here to belittle or berate you. She says she came out here to congratulate Bayley. Since Takeover, all she has heard is that they stole the show. People said it was the Match of the Year. Sasha says it was the best women’s match this company has ever seen.

Sasha says it is great for everyone but her. She didn’t come here to put on good matches or steal the show. She came here to be the best. Sasha says that Bayley is good. At Takeover, Bayley earned her respect. She was better for three seconds only. You are not her.

Bayley says she is not going to let Sasha come out because she has a legacy to start. If you are out here asking for a rematch, she has no problem with that.

Sasha says she has a point to prove. She has to prove it to everyone in the back that she is the best female wrestler. She does not only want to beat her, she wants to send a message.

Bayley says if you want to prove who is the best women’s wrestler, do you want a two out of three falls match?

Sasha says she wants to beat Bayley again and again and again until everyone realizes that fairy tales do not have a happy ending.

William Regal comes out and says that he has heard enough to realize that we have a tremendous opportunity. On October 7th at Takeover, Sasha will get her rematch for the NXT Women’s Championship against Bayley. William says he is going to up the ante. For the first time in NXT history, it will be the main event of Takeover. William says he is not finished. The ante is going to be upped a little more.

In the Main Event at Takeover, Sasha will face Bayley in a thirty minute Iron Man match.
